Abstract

ABSTRACT OF DISCLOSURE

The herein described combined carrier case and holding means for fluid contained plastic flexible bags consisting of a carrier case formed of side walls, a rear wall and a bottom wall joined together and leaving an open top and an open front and provided with flexible bag holding means extending across the width of the carrier case at its open top and at the lower end of the open front and integrally secured to the side walls of the carrier case. The holding means formed of centrally disposed upper and lower flexible bag engaging units which are in alignment with one another for detachable engagement by engaging units forming a part of the upper and lower ends of a fluid contained flexible bag, and whereby In operation the fluid contained flexible bag is constantly main-tained in an upright fixed position in the carrier case.

Claims (7)

WHAT I CLAIM IS:
1. In a combined carrier case and a fluid contained flexible bag holding means for detachably securing therein a fluid contained flexible bag and adapted to be inserted in a cooler having a valve cock, a carrier case formed of side walls, a rear wall and a bottom wall and an open top and an open front, a flexible bag holding means formed of an upper transverse member secured to the side walls of said carrier case and located adjacent to the open top thereof and provided with a flexible bag engaging unit and a lower transverse member secured to the lower portions of said side walls of said carrier case and located adjacent to the bottom wall thereof and having a flexible bag engaging unit, and a flexible fluid contained bag having engaging means at its upper portion adapted to engage with said flexible bag engaging unit of said upper transverse member and engaging means at its lower portion adapted to engage with the flexible bag engaging unit of said lower transverse member of said bag holder, and whereby in operation, the fluid contained flexible bag is constantly maintained in an up-right position in said carrier case.

In a combined carrier case and a fluid contained flexible bag holding means adapted to be inserted in a cooler, a carrier case comprising a pair of rectangular shaped frames joined together by cross members, side walls, a rear wall and a bottom wall all formed of lattice work and secured to said rectangular frames and completing said carrier case with an open top and an open front, a flexible bag holding means formed of an upper transverse member secured to said rectangular frames and extending across the open top of said carrier case and having a flexible bag engaging unit and a lower transverse member located adjacent to said bottom wall and secured to said rectangular shaped frames and having a flexible bag engaging unit, and a fluid contained flexible bag having engaging means located at its upper portion adapted to engage with said flexible bag engaging unit of said upper transverse member and engaging means at its lower portion adapted to engage with the flexible bag en-gaging unit of said lower transverse member of said bag holding means, and whereby in operations the fluid contained flexible bag is con-stantly maintained in an upright position in said carrier case.

A combined carrier case and a fluid contained flexible bag holding means as claimed in claim 2, in which the walls of the carrier case are formed of lattice work that extend to a predetermined height of the carrier case and leaving the remaining portion of the walls open for exposure of the upper transverse member of the flexible bag engaging unit.

A combined carrier case and a fluid contained flexible bag holding means as claimed in claim 2 in which a bottom wall forms a part of said rear wall and slopes at an inclined angle therefrom and is secured to the flexible bag engaging unit of said lower transverse member of said bag holding means and to said side frames.
5. A combined carrier case and a fluid contained bag holding means as claimed in claim 2, in which the upper and lower flexible bag engaging units of the bag holding means are approximately centrally located on their respective transverse members that are secured to said rectangular shaped frames.

In a combined carrier case and a fluid contained bag holding means as claimed in claim 5, in which the upper flexible bag engaging unit is in the shape of a hook that is integrally formed with its upper transverse member and the lower flexible engaging unit is in the shape of a collar forming an integral part of the lower transverse member.

In a combined carrier case and holding means for detachably securing therein a fluid contained flexible bag and adapted to be inserted in a cooler, a carrier case formed of a pair of tubular rectangular shaped frames welded together by tubular cross members and forming side, bottom and rear walls and an open top and front, a flexible bag holding means formed of upper and lower flexible bag engaging units, said upper flexible bag engaging unit formed of a transverse member integrally secured crosswise to said rectangular shaped frames and located adjacent to the open top of said carrier case and having a hook-shaped flexible bag engaging member integrally secured to the approximate central portion thereof, and said lower flexible bag engaging unit formed of a lowermost cross member connect-ing said rectangular frames to one another and extending across the open front of said carrier case at its base and the adjacent parallel transverse member of the bottom wall of said carrier case so as to form a channel shaped bag engaging unit, and whereby in operation, the fluid contained flexible bag has its upper end held in an approximately fixed position by said upper flexible bag unit at its lower end held through the medium of the channel of said lower flexible bag engaging unit for a limited lateral adjustment movement.
