Abstract

The said industrial design consists of the shape, configuration and ornamentation of a marking pen having a generally cylindrical body portion with an inwardly tapered left end portion and a circular open left end; an axially aligned clip portion is situated along the right end of the body portion, the right end of the clip portion has a generally V-shaped open area having bevelled side surfaces; a central line extends the length of the generally flat outer surface of the clip portion; the right end of the marking pen has a truncated slightly conical end element axially aligned with the body portion and, in a first position, extends outwardly away from the body portion; the body portion has a small oblong opening therein. In a second position, the slightly conical end element extends a short distance beyond the right end of the body portion; in the second position, a small generally cylindrical element extends outwardly from the left end of the body portion and has a bevelled end surface which, in turn, merges into a wedge-like element.Representations of the design are shown in the figures wherein:Fig. 1 is a perspective view of the marking pen with the truncated slightly conical end element in a first position;Fig. 2 is a front view thereof;Fig. 3 is a bottom view thereof;Fig. 4 is a rear view thereof;Fig. 5 is a right end view thereof;Fig. 6 is a left end view thereof;Fig. 7 is a front view of the marking pen with the truncated slightly conical element in a second position; andFig. 8 is a bottom view of the marking pen in the second position.Diagrams of the design are included.
