Abstract

ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE

Disclosed is a display device for displaying a message, an advertisement, decorations or the like by using a magnet.
The display device comprises a display substrate in which a sheet-shaped magnet having many magnetic poles is provided on one side of a flat substrate so that the magnetized surface forms a surface and that surface is covered with a decorative laminated sheet (layer) on which a certain color or pattern is provided, and a magnetic plate including a magnet layer having many magnetic poles and formed on one or both surfaces thereof at the same pitch as that of the sheet-shaped magnet of the display substrate and a display part attached on the surface of the magnet layer, on which there is no pattern or signs such as a name are displayed. When the magnetic plate for display is put on the display substrate, the south pole and the north pole of the sheet-shaped magnet attract the north pole and the south pole of the magnet layer, respectively. Therefore, the long magnet piece can be attached horizontally or vertically without any lines or guidelines on the display substrate, so that the plurality of magnet pieces can be aligned with ends thereof being trued up.

Display Device BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relatles to a display device which can be used in a wide range of display which is relatively small and frequently chang~d or has a large area, such as various information boards, a notice board, a siyn board, a sales report board, a gxaph, a table of attendance, a wall painting for decoration.
Conventionally, as a display device using a maynet ~or displaying a message, an advertisement, decorations or the like/ there has been known a white board type of display device in which an enamel iron board is provided on a surface of a substrate such as a veneer board. The display device displays signs by handwriting them on the sur~ace of the iron board or adhering a magnetic piece on which signs are printed. For examplet in the prior art, when a plurality of magnetic pieces are adhered on a schedule board for employees, since mutual positions of the magnetic pieces or the like are not likely to be straightly aligned, they are normally positioned along a printed or handwritten ruled line on the surface of an enamel iron board or positioned along a guideline on a white board to be alignedc A magnet sheet is put on a wall surface made of steel in a case of a large-scaled advertisement.

According to the conventional display device, the magnet piace can be attached onto any posikion on the enamel iron board. When many magnet pieces are arranged or positioned, they are not likely to be adhered on the desired positions and sometimes curved ox inclined. Therefore, it is difEicult to rightly position them without a guide or ruler. Especially, when a relatively long magnet piace or a large magnet sheet is attached on, its procedure is troublesome.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
Thus the present invention provides a display device in which a long magnet piece can be horizontally or perpendicularly attached and a plurality o~ magnetic pieces can be aligned with their edges trued up without a ruled line or a guideline on a display substrat~.
The present invention also provides a display device in which even a small interval can be easily positioned.
The present invention can also provide a display device having a ~trong magnetic force.
A display device of the present invsntion includes a display substrate and a magnetic plate ~or display fixed on the display substrate by magnetic ~orce. Since the sheet--shapecl magnet of the clisplay substrate and the magnet layer of the magnet;c plate fo:r ll;splay are magnet;zed at the same pitch in the display dev;ce accord:ing to the present invention as dèscribed above, they attruct eac}l othe-r strongly by the opposite north and sollth po:les and rightly ~ositioned every magnetized pitcb, so that the plurality of magnetic plates can be aligned st:raightly along the north pole or the south pole of the disp:lay substrate.
Therefore, when they are posit;oned at a des;red F)lace, they are not curved nor inclined even if the:re is no guide or no ruler. Thus, a relatively long magnet piece or a large sheet-shaped magnet can be easily a-ttachecl. In addition, when the magnetic plate is magnetized on both sides anrl the color of one side is different from the other, display can be classified by color.

When the display device is used temporarily or it is not useci frequently, since the surface of the display substrate is a decorative laminated (decorative layer~, it can be used as it is or as a decorative panel by displaying drawings on the magnetic plate. Thus, -the display device according to the presen-t invention can be easily and wic'iely used.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
As noted, in the prior art as depicted in Figure 9 when magnetic pieces 16, 17, 18 and 19 are adhered on a schedule board for employees, since the positions of the magnetic pieces 16 and 17, 17 and 18, etc. are not likely to be aligned, they are positioned along lines marked on the board.
Figs. 1 and 2 each show a board o~ attendance as an example of a display device. Referring to Figs. 1 and 2, reference numeral 1 designates a substrate formed of a wood or an expandable synthetic resin, and reference numeral 2 designates a sheet-shaped magnet attached onto the whole surface of the substrate 1, on which many magnetic poles are formed.
In addition, reference numeral 3 designates a decorati~e layer for covering the surface of the magnet 2, which is thin so as not to prevent magnetic force of the magnet 2, and reference numeral 4 designates a steel foil covering the whole back surface of the substrate 1. A display substrate comprises the substrate 1, the sheet-shaped magnet 2, the decorative layer 3 and the steel foil 4. Reference numeral 5 designakes a frame, and reference numeral 6 desiynates a magnetic plate for display which attracts the display substrate, on which a display part 7 for displaying signs such as a name is formed. Reference numeral 8 designates a magnet layer of magnetic plate 6, which fixes non-magnetized surfaces of two isotropic magnets : .

When the magnetic plate 6 is moved ;n a direction perpendicular to the line of the magnetic pole ~vertical direction of Fig. ~), since attracting and repelling force of the magnetic poles are repeated each magnetized pitch, the position of the magnetic plate 6 can be finely adjustecl by double width of the magnetized pitch. Although arran~ement of the magnetic poles of the magnetic plate 6 can be the same or different on the front and back sides, or the number of magnetic poles of the magnet layer 8 can be an even number or odd number, arrangement of the magnetic poles 21~8~26~

In add;t;on, s;nce the magnetic plate 6 is magne$ized on both front and back surfaces, it can be used for decorating a room or for a layout of goods by attaching a steel or a solid or plane body thereto.
Although the magnet 2 directly attracts the substrate 1 in the displa~ device shown in Figs. 1 and 2~ when a very thin sheet-shaped material such as a p;ece of paper or a steel foil may be in~terposed therebetween~ the magnet 2 eas;ly attract the substrate 1.

The frame 5 and the d;splay substrate of the disp:lay device has the same structllre as shown in Fig. 1 but a very thin sheet-shaped substance ~a is interposed between the substrate 1 and the sheet-shaped magnet ~ ;n this embodiment.
The magnetic plate 6 for display according to this embodim0nt comprises a magnet layer formed o:f one anisotrop;c magnet 8b and a display part 7. Therefo7e, since the magnetic poles on the front and back surfaces of the magnetic plate 6 are opposite, when the number of magnetic poles is the even number and the magnetic plate 6 is turnedover in the vertical direction~ it can be attachetl in a predetermined position~ When it ;s turned over in the ,. .

Therefore two anisotropic magnets can be integrated without using an adhesive material or the like.

Although description was made using the board of attendance in the above emhodiments of the present invention, display on a large signboard or on a large wall can be implemented in the same manner. Claims (6)

1. A display device comprising:
a display substrate comprising a sheet-shaped magnet having many magnetic poles provided on one surface of a flat substrate so that its magnetized surface may be a surface and a decorative layer covering the sheet-shaped magnet surface, and a magnetic plate for display comprising a magnet layer having many magnetic poles at the same pitch as that of the sheet-shaped magnet, provided on the display substrate and a display part which has no pattern or displays signs such as a name, provided on one surface or both surfaces of the magnet layer.
2. A display device according to claim 1, wherein the magnet layer of the magnetic plate is formed of one flat anisotropic magnet or isotropic magnet.
3. A display device according to claim 1, wherein the magnetic plate for display is formed by providing the display part on both surfaces of the magnet layer formed of one flat anisotropic magnet having many magnetic poles.
4. A display device according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the magnetic plate for display is formed by forming the magnet layer formed of two isotropic magnets having many magnetic poles laminated and integrated through a certain material so that a magnetized surface may be a surface and by providing the display part on the magnetized surface.
5. A display device according to claim 1 or 2 wherein the magnetic plate for display is formed by forming the magnet layer formed of two anisotropic magnets having many magnetic poles laminated through a magnetic substance so that the same magnetic poles may correspond to each other and by providing the display part on the outer magnetized surface.
6. A display device according to claims 1 to 3 wherein the magnetic plate for display is formed by forming the magnet layer formed of two sheet-shaped magnet having many magnetic poles fixed so that magnetized surfaces thereof may be on the outer sides and the non-magnetized surfaces may be on the inner sides and by providing the display part on the magnetized surface of the magnet layer.
