Abstract

L'invention concerne un article de contention à
usage médical comportant une partie principale en tricot élastique servant à comprimer une jambe ou un bras pour traiter une insuffisance veineuse ou lymphatique.
Conformément à l'invention, la partie principale se prolonge supérieurement par une bande élastique de maintien formée d'une tresse ou dentelle élastique revêtue, du côté
intérieur, d'un motif réalisé en un matériau d'anti-glissement, les fibres constituant la tresse ou la dentelle de cette bande étant choisies de façon que ladite bande présente à la fois une caractéristique d'allongement à faible pente, et exerce sur le membre concerné une pression qui est inférieure à celle qu'exerce la partie principale de l'article au voisinage de ladite bande.
