Claims (12)
1. Composting unit having a ventilation system for closed rotting units and having first means (V1, V2, R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, R6, R7) which are designed and arranged in such a way that, with them, there can always be set, as desired, one or more of any type(s) of flow selected from the groups of type of flow consisting of flow of conditioned circulating air over, through and around a static or agitated stack (10) mixture.
2. The composting unit as claimed in claim 1, in which the first means (V1, V2, R1 to R7) have valves (R1 to R7) for the defined setting of the air pathways (X1 to X7, X23).
3. The composting unit as claimed in claim 2, in which the valves (R1 to R7) are designed as controllable valves.
4. The composting unit as claimed in one of the preceding claims, in which the first means (V1, V2, R1 to R7) have at least two fans (V1, V2) which can be adjusted with respect to their output.
5. The composting unit as claimed in claim 4, in which the fans (V1, V2) can be controlled with respect to their output characteristics.
6. The composting unit as claimed in claim 4 or 5, in which the two fans (V1, V2) are connected in parallel in a direction of flow leading to the stack (10).
7. The composting unit as claimed in one of claims 4 to 6, having a switchover device (X23, R2, R4) for switching over the two fans (V1 and V2) from their parallel connection into a series connection in such a way that the output streams of the two fans (V1, V2) are superimposed in a single flow duct (X3).
8. The composting unit as claimed in one of the preceding claims, in which the first means (V1, V2, R1-R7), in addition to the two fans (V1, V2) connected in parallel, have at least one further fan (V3) connected in series downstream of the stack (10).
9. The composting unit as claimed in one of the preceding claims, in which the air circulation system has second means (R9) for the manual or automatic feed of variable quantities of fresh air.
10. The composting unit as claimed in claim 9 having third means (X8, V3) for the passive or fan-reinforced blowing out of an exhaust air quantity corresponding to the quantity of fresh air supplied.
11. The composting unit as claimed in one of the preceding claims having fourth means (W1, W2) for the central and/or partial heating/cooling and moistening of the circulated air.
12. The composting unit as claimed in one of the preceding claims having fifth means for controlling the gas composition in the circulated air.
