Abstract

L'invention est relative à un procédé pour charger une zone mémoire protégée d'un dispositif de traitement de l'information, et au dispositif associé.

Cette zone protégée (11) appartient à un module (8) du dispositif de traitement et est accessible en lecture et écriture à des moyens de traitement (9) internesau module mais inaccessible au moins en écriture depuis l'extérieur du module.
Selon l'invention, on effectue un transfert d'informations confidentielles vers cette zone protégée (11), à partir d'une zone protégée analogue (27) d'un objet portatif (21) de structure semblable à celle du module, cet objet étant reçu dans un lecteur d'objet portatif (6) prévu dans le dispositif.

Application au chargement de données et/ou programmes confidentiels dans tout dispositif de traitement de l'information.
