Abstract

A unitized sprinkler assembly (10) includes a first housing assembly (16) with an inlet end (18) and an outlet end (22), a second housing assembly (24) with an inlet end (26) and an outlet end (28), a manually adjustable control mechanism (32) carried by the first housing assembly, a sprinkler head assembly (14), a base assembly (30) to support all the assemblies on a ground area to be sprinkled an oscillating mechanism (56) for oscillating the sprinkler head assembly, and an adjusting mechanism (58) for adjusting the amount of oscillation. The inlet end (26) of the second housing assembly (24) mates with the outlet end (22) of the first housing assembly (16) while the outlet end (28) of the second housing assembly (24) mates with an inlet end of the sprinkler head assembly (14). The sprinkler head assembly (14) and the second housing assembly (24) are structurally connected to allow the oscillation.
