Abstract
A method and apparatus for monitoring and reporting weather conditions in a defined region (50), for example an airport visibility and ceiling conditions.
More particularly, which provides accurate, representative, and timely condition and surveillance weather reports (60) without the need for human intervention. This invention has particular application to the monitoring and reporting of airport weather, specifically to visibility (54), cloud ceiling (Fig 7), and related weather conditions generally in the defined regions (50).
