Abstract

The invention relates to a pentopyranosyl nucleoside of formula (I) or formula(II), to the production of said pentopyranosyl nucleoside, and to its use for producing a therapeutic agent, a diagnostic agent and/or an electronic component.

Claims (14)

1. Conjugate comprising a pentapyranosylnucleoside [sic] or a pentapyranosylnucleic [sic] acid and a biomolecule.
2. 3. Conjugate according to Claim 1 or 2, comprising at least one pentopyranosylnucleoside and, preferably, at least one allyloxy linker.
4. Conjugate according to one of Claims 1-3, characterized in that the pentopyranosylnucleoside is a ribo-, arabino-, lyxo- and/or xylopyranosylnucleoside, preferably a ribopyransoylnucleoside.
5. Conjugate according to one of Claims 1-4, characterized in that the pentopyranosyl moiety of the pentopyranosylnucleoside is in the D or L
configuration.

Conjugate according to one of Claims 1-5, characterized in that the pentopyranosylnucleoside employed is a pentopyranosyl purine, -2,6-di-aminopurine, -5-purinethiol, -pyridine, -pyrimidine, -adenosine, -guanosine, -isoguanosine, -6-thioguanosine, -xanthine, -hypoxanthine, -thymidine, -cytosine, -isocytosine, -indole, -tryptamine, -N-phthaloyl-tryptamine, -uracil, -caffeine, -theobromine, -theophylline, -benzotriazole or -acridine.
7. Conjugate according to one of Claims 2-6, characterized in that R2, R3, R4, R2', R3' and/or R4' is a 2-phthalimidoethyl or allyloxy radical or a radical of the formula -N[C(O)R9]2.

Conjugate according to one of claims 1-7, characterized in that the pentopyranosylnucloside is a [2',4'-di-O-benzoyl-.beta.-ribopyranosyl]nucleoside, in particular a [2',4'-di-O-benzoyl)-.beta.-ribopyranosyl]adenine, -guanine, -cytosine, -thymidine, -uracil, -xanthine or hypoxanthine, ~~an ~ N-benzoyl-2',4'-di-O-benzoylribopyranosylnucleoside, in particular an -adenine, -guanine or -cytosine, an N-isobutyroyl-2',4'-di-O-benzoylribopyranosylnucleoside, in particular an -adenine, -guanine or -cytosine, an O6-(2-cyanoethyl)-N2-isobutyroyl-2',4'-di-O-benzoylribo-pyranosylnucleoside, in particular a -guanine, an O6 (2-(4'-nitrophenyl)ethyl)-N2-isobutyroyl-2',4'-di-O-benzoylribopyranosylnucleoside, in particular a -guanine, a .beta.-ribopyranosylnucleoside, in particular a .beta.-ribopyranosyladenine, -guanine, -cytosine, -thymidine or -uracil, -xanthine or hypoxanthine, an N-benzoyl-, N-isobutyroyl-, O6-(2-cyanoethyl)- or O6-(2-(4-nitro-phenyl)ethyl)-N2-isobutyroyl-.beta.-ribopyranosylnucleoside, a 4'-DMT-pentopyranosylnucleoside, preferably a 4'-DMT-ribopyranosylnucleoside, in particular a 4'-DMT-ribopyranosyladenine, -guanine, -cytosine, -thymidine, -uracil, -xanthine or hypoxanthine, an N-benzoyl-4'-DMT-ribopyranosylnucleoside, in particular an N-benzoyl-4'-DMT-ribopyranosyladenine, -guanine or -cytosine, an N-isobutyroyl-4'-DMT-ribopyranosyl-nucleoside, in particular an N-isobutyroyl-4'-DMT-ribopyranosyladenine, -guanine,- or -cytosine, an O6-(2-cyanoethyl)-N2-isobutyroyl-4'-DMT-ribopyranosyl-nucleoside, in particular an O6-(2-cyanoethyl)-N2-isobutyroyl-4'-DMT-ribopyranosylguanine, an O6-(2-(-4-nitrophenyl)ethyl)-N2-isobutyroyl-4'-DMT-ribopyranosylnucleoside, in particular an O6-(2-(-4-nitrophenyl)ethyl)-N2-isobutyroyl-4'-DMT-ribopyranosylguanine or a .beta.-ribopyranosyl-N,N'-dibenzoyladenosine or a .beta.-ribopyranosyl-N,N'-dibenzoyl-guanosine.
9. Conjugate according to one of Claims 1-8, characterized in that the biomolecule is a peptide, protein or a nucleic acid.
10. Conjugate according to Claim 9, characterized in that the biomolecule is an antibody or a functional moiety thereof or a DNA and/or RNA occurring in its natural form.
11. Process for the preparation of a conjugate according to one of Claims 1-10, characterized in that a pentopyranosylnucleoside or a pentopyranosylnucleic acid is combined with a biomolecule.
12. Use of a conjugate according to one of Claims 1-10 for the production of a medicament, diagnostic and/or electronic component.
13. Use of a conjugate according to one of Claims 1-10 for the production of an array.
14. Diagnostic comprising a conjugate according to one of Claims 1-10.
