Abstract

A flashlight in accordance with the present invention includes a chamber, a light source, a head component, and a reflector. The reflector surrounds the light source to project light from the light source. In a preferred embodiment, the head component is rotatably secured to the chamber so that the head component can rotate relative to the chamber, without axial; movement of the head component relative to the chamber, to cause a switch to selectively electrically couple the light source and at least one battery retained by the chamber. The preferred embodiment also comprises a bezel, rotatably secured to the head component, so that the bezel may rotate relative to the head component without axial movement of the bezel relative to the head component, to cause the reflector to move axially relative to the light source.
