Abstract

A food container lid member of a construction in which a surface sheet is laminated on a composite sheet, the lid member including an easily peelable region containing an easily peelable layer formed by applying a release agent between the composite sheet and the surface sheet, an opening region disposed in the easily peelable region and having a hot water discharge port formed therein, and a non-peelable region disposed adjacent the easily peelable region, the food container lid member further including a first cut made in the direction of the vertical section of the composite sheet to form a hot water discharge port, and a second cut made in the direction of the vertical section of the surface sheet to separate the surface sheet in the easily peelable region. Further, the lid member is a food container lid member wherein in the hot water discharge port formed by the first cut, the composite sheet and the surface sheet are bonded at a smaller area than that of the hot water discharge port without a release agent applied therebetween.
