Abstract

L'équipement de protection respiratoire comprend un masque respiratoire muni d'un régulateur destiné à être relié à une source de gaz respiratoire sous pression et un harnais ayant au moins une sangle exten-sible dont les extrémités sont reliées au masque et qui comporte un élément qui est gonflable temporairement par le gaz sous pression pour allonger la sangle jusqu'à
une dimension suffisante pour permettre à l'utilisateur d'engager le harnais sur la tête et vidangeable pour per-mettre à la sangle, d'appliquer le masque contre le vi-sage. Une enveloppe souple recouvrant la tête est fixée de façon étanche à la sangle unique ou à la sangle su-périeure du harnais et fixée au masque; elle est transpa-rente au moins dans une partie qui se trouve en face des yeux lorsque l'équipement est porté.
