Description

TITLE: SUN'S ENERGY CONVERTER
FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention is directed to an apparatus for conversion of electrostatic electricity wind, waves, tides, rivers, ocean currents and ocean floor volcanoes directly to electricity with electrolysis of water for the transformation of the sun's energy into numerous byproducts, including oxygen, hydrogen fuel and purified water.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The amount of energy that reaches the Earth's atmosphere every 24 hours is similar to the amount of energy released by 200 million electrical power stations during the same period.
The Sun's energy has the potential to replace the erwironment polluting technologies, which need to be changed urgently with the reallocation of financial and human resources to benign abundant renewable energy. As evidence in the atmosphere, glaciers, and in the ground clearly show, no individual corporation or country can any longer perceive themselves in isolation.
The potential for abundant transformation of the sun's energy to numerous byproducts which is the subject of the present invention will be confirmed once the fundamentals of the complementary embodiments are contemplated and debated by individual experts in the respective areas of technology. Symbiosis and harmony become imperative by virtue of openness of debate with society leaders as guardians of accountability and intellectual property.

~ v Global warming has long been a major concern to society worldwide as economic expansion requires ever-greater amounts of energy. Among other reasons fossil fuels emissions by power generating plants and transportation are considered to be important factors contributing to air pollution. A number of technologies referred to as Green Power have been proliferating lately, with windmill farms apparently being the most popular throughout the world. Typically, these windmills consist of a three-blade horizontal axis propeller .
adapted to high tower to aim into the wind and drive electric generator. Among other things, these windmill farms are intermittent energy sources that clutter the landscape. They are irreversibly obsolete from cost efficiency and environment viewpoint Therefore, abundant inexpensive clean renewable energy sources with the potential to eventually contain global warming with added expansion of energy requirements, are indeed exciting prospects. It has long been established that the sun's energy evaporates water that condenses as clouds and generate wind as a consequence of differences of temperature of the air masses. Wind blowing over the oceans generates waves, which are perceived as highly condensed solar energy packets, traveling randomly over the surface day and night. Potentially, by providing the ability to synchronize this high-density solar energy with hydrodynamic radial energy guides, adapted with vertical axis propellers is a Distinct Solution to Interface the Sun's Abundant Renewable Energy.
- 2 -w SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
The sun's energy converter provides a vertical axis two airfoil blade rotor pivoted by two indexed falanges interfaced by tubular electromagnetic stator and two hydraulic gear-pump motors. The electromagnetic stator reacts with the permanent magnets in the tubular rotor frame to provide levitation for self-centering of the rotor within supporting roller bearing frames. The stator coil is optionally formed of copper tubing and adapted with quick couplings for electrical connection and the circulation of heat pump powered coolant. Ring shaped multi cell hydraulic servo pump motor adapted to the p2voting indexed phalanges are interfaced by rotor ring shape gear to in addition provide hydraulic brake in the off mode of operation. Angular encoding of the rotor provides a reference angle for RPM control and stopping of the rotor at a particular position. The assembly forms watertight buoyant frame optionally extruded and molded form glass alloy rated for the particular applications of air and water waves and currents.
Radial hydrodynamic energy guide adapted with complementary falanges and couplings provide mounting for the propeller frames by specialized latch-indexing clamps, by specialized robotic cranes. A plurality of radial strut frames adapted with pivoted airfoil blade-sails controlled by encoded hydraulic servomotors provides further energy intensification and induction of rear currents to improve overall efficiency and counter drag forces. The basic assembly is integrally adaptable to numerous applications for inland offshore and atmospheric space tubular and circular elliptical frames according to the respective embodiments. The apparatus are controlled according to conventional computers and other interfacing technologies as deemed necessary for their operation.
