Abstract
The invention relates to a multilayer biaxially oriented film comprised of a base layer and of at least one cover layer.
The cover layer contains at least one polymer, which is made from at least one hydroxycarboxylic acid, and contains 2 to 10 wt. %
of a glycerol fatty acid ester.
The cover layer contains at least one polymer, which is made from at least one hydroxycarboxylic acid, and contains 2 to 10 wt. %
of a glycerol fatty acid ester.
Claims (11)
1. Multilayer biaxially oriented film comprising a base layer and at least one top layer, characterized in that the top layer comprises at least one polymer made from at least one hydroxycarboxylic acid and from 2 to 10% by weight of a glycerol fatty acid ester.
2. Film according to Claim 1, characterized in that the GFA content is from 2 to 8% by weight, based on the weight of the top layer.
3. Films according to one or more of Claims 1 to 2, characterized in that the thickness of the top layer is from 0.5 to 10 µm.
4. Films according to one or more of Claims 1 to 2, characterized in that the top layer comprises from 80 to < 98% by weight of a poly-mer made from aliphatic hydroxycarboxylic acid.
5. Film according to Claim 4, characterized in that the aliphatic hydroxycarboxylic acid is a PLA.
6. Film according to one or more of Claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the glycerol fatty acid ester is a glycerol mono-, a glycerol di- or a glycerol tricarboxylic acid ester.
7. Film according to Claim 6, characterized in that the fatty acid of the glycerol fatty acid ester is a stearic acid.
8. Film according to one or more of Claims 1 to 7, characterized in that the base layer is transparent and comprises from 90 to < 100% by weight of a polyhydroxycarboxylic acid, preferably PLA.
9. Film according to one or more of Claims 1 to 7, characterized in that the base layer is opaque and additionally comprises an opacifying amount of a COC.
10. Use of a film according to one or more of Claims 1 to 9 as packaging film.
11. Process for the production of a film according to Claim 1, character-ized in that the glycerol fatty acid ester is incorporated into the top layer via a concentrate.
