Abstract

The present invention relates to a liquid absorbent thermoplastic composition, which contains particles of a superabsorbent material having angle-lacking shapes. Said composition is particularly suitable to be used in absorbent articles for personal hygiene, specifically in disposable absorbent articles, which preferably comprise one or more regions in which they are transparent.
In particular, the absorbent core of such transparent absorbent articles can be made from the liquid absorbent thermoplastic composition of the present invention.
