Abstract

La présente invention concerne un implant cotyloïdien pour prothèse de hanch e, comprenantun premier type d'insert (2) présentant une cavité interne sphériq ue (2a) pour le montage avec capacité de mobilité d'un noyau hémisphérique (4) présentant une cavité interne (4a) apte à coopérer avec capacité d'articulation avec une tête fémorale ;un deuxième type d'insert présentant une cavité interne apte à coopérer avec capacité d'articulation avec la tête fémorale ;caractérisé en ce que le centre de rotation de la tête fémorale es t différent de l'axe de rotation du susdit premier type d'insert (2) et/ou du susdit deuxième type d'insert.

Claims (10)

1. Implant cotyloïdien pour prothèse de hanche, comprenant:
- un premier type d'insert (2) présentant une cavité interne sphérique (2a) pour le montage avec capacité de mobilité d'un noyau hémisphérique (4) présentant une cavité interne (4a) apte à coopérer avec capacité d'articulation avec une tête fémorale (T);
- un deuxième type d'insert (3) présentant une cavité interne (3a) apte à coopérer avec capacité
d'articulation avec la tête fémorale (T);
caractérisé en ce que le centre de rotation de la tête fémorale (T) est différent de l'axe de rotation du susdit premier type d'insert (2) et/ou du susdit deuxième type d'insert (3).
2. Implant selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend une cupule métallique (1) de forme hémisphérique apte à être fixée dans le fond de la cavité cotyloïdienne de l'os iliaque.
3. Implant selon la revendication 2, caractérisé en ce que la cupule (1) délimite une cavité
interne (1a) présentant des agencements pour le montage à volonté, d'une manière fixe, des deux susdits types d'insert (2) et (3).
4. Implant selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que l'insert de deuxième type (3) et le noyau mobile (4) présentent des agencements pour le montage d'une bague (5) apte à assurer la rétentivité de la tête fémorale.

Implant selon la revendication 4, caractérisé en ce que la bague (5) est fendue afin d'être écartée par élasticité pour être positionnée dans des agencements de formes complémentaires que présente l'ouverture de l'insert ou du noyau, la bague délimitant une portée interne concave en relation avec la portée externe hémisphérique de la tête fémorale.

Implant selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que les agencements de la cavité interne (1a) de la cupule (I) coopèrent avec des agencements complémentaires que présente la surface externe des deux types d'insert (2) et (3) pour assurer une fixation par effet de clipage.
7. Implant selon la revendication 6, caractérisé en ce que les agencements sont constitués par une série de portée circulaires tronconiques.
8. Implant selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que l'insert du premier type (2) et le noyau (4) sont en céramique, en polyéthylène ou en métal et la tête fémorale est en céramique ou en métal.
9. Implant selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que l'insert du deuxième type (3) est en céramique, en métal ou en polyéthylène.
10. Implant selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que les inserts du premier type (2), du deuxième type (3), et le noyau (4) sont soit en métal, soit en polyéthylène soit en céramique soit en une combinaison de ces matériaux, la tête fémorale étant soit en métal soit en céramique, ou en combinaison de ces matériaux.
