Abstract

The novelty of the design consists of the features of shape and configuration of a generally oval lid displaying a shallow and generally flat top portion merging with and slightly overhanging an oval collar portion. The top portion of the lid displays an opening having a flat base and a peripheral portion shaped to conform to part of the substantially oval lid shape. A shallow and substantially rectangular recess is centrally located in the upper front of the top portion. A door portion corresponding to the opening is shown in the front end of the lid portion. The drawings show an open and closed position of the door portion. In the closed position, a small and substantially rectangular tab portion extends laterally from the front of the door portion over the recess in the upper front of the top portion. The drawings show single variant of the design.
