Abstract

本发明的现有技术
卫生保健实践已表明三维成像主要作为放射科的诊断工具的巨大价值。其它的护理领域(包括手术室、特护部门和急诊部门)倚靠二维成像(荧光透视法、超声波成像、二维移动式X射线成像)作为诊断和医疗指导的主要方法。这主要是由于费用、大小和操作传统的三维装置所必需的专业技能。此外,应用辐射学质量的CT扫描仪已被设计出来,以牺牲移动性为代价取得最高的成像质量。能够在同一装置上完成2D和3D成像的用于“非放射科”的真正实用的移动式成像解决方案还有待研制。先前的尝试并未真正提出在满足预期的成像质量水平的同时维持大小相当的体积的需求。过去,已有两种类型的装置计划提出这种需求。一种类型的装置使用可移动的C-臂并且让它围绕着人体旋转,例如来自Siemens AG的Siremobil Iso-C3D系统。这些基于C-臂的尝试视野有限,程序上难以处理而且成像质量受到固有的限制。
其它人已尝试使固定孔口CT变成可移动的,例如Butler W.E.等人在A Mobile CT Scanner with Intraoperative and ICUApplication,1998,(http://neurosurgery.Mgh.harvard.edu/mobileCT.htm)中描述的装置。然而,这些所谓的“移动式CT扫描仪”以提高传统的固定式CT扫描仪的剂量水平为特色,它们是难以机动的,而且在需要的时候,它们不能完成2D成像。

既适合“非放射科”的3-D成像也能够完成2D成像的真正可移动的实际的解决方案仍然不存在。这主要是由于当前的断层扫描仪实际上不能移动这一事实。不能用与移动式C-臂相同的自由度移动CT扫描仪已阻碍接受和使用移动式三维成像。这已经把三维计算机断层摄影成像的价值限制在主要作为放射科的诊断工具的领域。
因此,需要能在医院的手术室、加护病房、急诊室和其它科室、流动的外科手术中心、医师办公室和战场使用的真正可能移动的和能够完成2D和3DX射线成像的移动式CT扫描仪。
本发明的概述
本发明指向由有X射线源和检测器的通常0形的支架环组成的成像装置。支架环以悬臂方式在环的一侧刚性地或可移动地固定到诸如可移动的手推车、墙壁、天花板、地板或患者检查台之类的支撑结构上。
依照一个方面,定位器组件能以悬臂方式把支架环固定到支撑结构上,定位器组件允许支架相对于支撑结构在至少一个方向上平移和/或围绕着至少一个轴旋转。
依照一个方面,X射线源被装在支架环里面,与检测器阵列相对。X射线源(非必选地和检测器)能围绕着支架环的内部旋转,优选能从头到尾围绕着支架的内部空间完成全部的或部分的360度扫描。这种成像装置对于医学成像应用(包括3D计算机断层摄影术的(CT)成像和2DX-射线照相术的扫描)以及其它的医学、科学和工业的应用特别有利。

本发明的详细描述
本发明的优选实施方案描述如下。
图1是展示依照本发明的一个实施方案的X射线扫描系统10的示意图。X射线扫描系统10包括被固定到可能是可移动的或静止的手推车、患者检查台、墙壁、地板或天花板的支撑结构上的支架11。如图1所示,支架11经由环定位单元20以悬臂方式被固定到可移动的手推车12上。如同下面进一步详细描述的那样,环定位单元20能相对于支撑结构平移和/或倾斜支架11,以便将支架11按许多成像位置和方位定位。
图1中可移动的手推车12可以非必选地包括电源、X射线功率发生器和用来控制X射线扫描装置的操作和实现图像处理、X射线图像的储存或其它的信息处理功能的计算机系统。在优选的实施方案中,计算机系统控制定位单元20使之能够把支架11快速地移到使用者定义的特定的位置和方位。计算机优选有能够储存与特定的支架位置和/或方位有关的定位信息的存储器。这个储存的信息能用来一经请求就自动地把支架移动到预先定义的布局。

依照一个方面,本发明的X射线扫描系统能用来获得物体(例如,患者)的二维平面的或三维的计算机断层摄影术(CT)的X射线图像。在图1所示的实施方案中,支架11是有将待成像的物体放进其中的中央孔口的通常圆形的即“O形的”壳体。支架11包含把X射线辐射束15投射到支架的中心孔口之中、穿过待成像的物体照射在位于支架的对置侧面的检测器阵列14(例如,平板数字式检测器阵列)之上的X射线源13(例如,旋转阳极脉冲式X射线源)。然后,在检测器14收到的X射线能被用来使用众所周知的技术产生物体的二维或三维图像。
X射线源13能够连续地或以步进的方式围绕着支架11的内部空间旋转,以致X射线波束能在部份的或全部的360度旋转范围内以各种不同的角度穿过物体和穿过共同的等角点投射。检测器阵列也与X射线源的旋转相协调地围绕着支架的内部空间旋转,以致对于X射线源的每个投射角度,检测器阵列的位置都与支架上的X射线源相对。因此,装置能够在部分的或完整的360度旋转范围内任何投射平面中获得目标物体的高质量X射线图像。
图2展示有借助环定位单元20处于已被平移和倾斜的位置的悬臂式0形支架11的图1的扫描系统。定位单元20一侧接到支架12上,从而以悬臂方式把支架固定到可移动的手推车12或其它的支撑上。定位单元20准许支架11相对支撑结构平移和/或旋转,包括,举例来说,至少沿着x-、y-和z-轴之一平移运动,和/或至少围绕着x-和y-轴之一旋转。如图2所示,定位器20能够在三个方向上相对于手推车12平移支架11,包括在垂直方向(即,上下方向),进/出方向(即靠近/远离手推车的方向),和横向方向(即沿着X射线源的旋转轴)。该定位器还能够围绕着一个或多个轴倾斜支架。人们将会理解本发明有各种其它的实施方案,其中悬臂式支架相对于支撑结构保持固定,或支架能够在某些方向平移或倾斜运动而在其它方向则不能。
支架定位单元20能用手控制,或者,在优选的实施方案中,它是能被电-机械地移动到预期的位置的电动系统。计算机化的运动控制系统能被附着到定位器的电动部件上,而一个或多个考虑周到的支架的位置和方位可以储存在计算机的存储器中。在X射线扫描仪的操作期间,预先定义的支架位置和方位可以被很快地和容易地恢复。
图3展示环定位单元20依照本发明的一个实施方案组装起来的零部件的示意图。支架环的相对运动是靠一组个别的定位器实现的,包括进/出定位器305、垂直定位器307、横向定位器309和倾斜定位器311。Z-支架313被用来把垂直定位器307、横向定位器309和倾斜定位器311刚性地连结到进/出定位器305上。
现在参照图4,进/出定位器305包括用来平移悬臂式支架环使之靠近或远离支撑结构的电动组件。进/出定位器包括用螺栓把Z-支架313(见图3)固定在它上面的顶板315。顶板315可借助与底板317上的导轨321配对的滑块319沿着底板317的长度移动。齿轮传动伺服马达323借助马达底座325刚性地附着到底板317上。滚球螺杆327安装在滚球螺杆底座329上,并且沿着平行于线性导轨321的底板317的长度铺设。滚球螺杆327与牢固地固定在顶板315上的滚球螺母333配对。马达323借助马达联轴器331按顺时针方向或反时针方向旋转滚球螺杆327。滚球螺杆327的旋转(要么按顺时针方向要么按反时针方向)引起滚球螺母333并因此引起顶板315沿着滚球螺杆327的长度上下移动。线性导轨和滑块在伺服马达323沿着底板317的长度平移顶板的时候控制顶板。以这种方式,悬臂式支架组件能以受控的方式平移到靠近或远离诸如可移动的手推车、地板、墙壁、天花板或患者检查台之类的支撑结构的位置。

Claims (28)

1.一种成像装置,其中包括:
O形的支架环;
辐射源和位于支架环内的辐射检测器,所述的辐射源和辐射检测器中的至少一个可围绕支架环内部360度旋转,所述的旋转独立于支架环的任何运动
支撑结构;和
环定位单元,该环定位单元连接到支架环的一侧上以悬臂方式把支架环固定到支撑结构上,该环定位单元使支架环相对于支撑结构定位。

操作环定位单元使支架环相对于支撑结构定位在预定的位置和方位;
围绕支架环的内部旋转辐射源和辐射检测器中的至少一个,所述的旋转独立于支架环的任何运动;以及
获得物体的图像。
21.根据权利要求20的方法,其中环定位单元通过在朝向或远离支撑结构的方向上平移环将支架环定位。
22.根据权利要求20的方法,其中环定位单元通过相对于支撑结构在垂直方向上平移环将支架环定位。
23.根据权利要求20的方法,其中环定位单元通过相对于支撑结构在横向方向上平移环将支架环定位。
24.根据权利要求20的方法,其中环定位单元通过围绕着至少一个轴旋转支架将支架环定位。
25.根据权利要求20的方法,其中环定位单元通过平移支架环三个垂直轴和围绕着至少一个轴旋转支架环将支架环定位。
26.一种X射线成像装置,其中包括:
有用来获得位于支架环内的物体的二维或三维图像的辐射源和检测器阵列的O形的支架环;以及
以悬臂方式在支架环的一端支撑支架环的移动支撑。
27.根据权利要求26的成像装置,进一步包括连接到支架环的一端上用来把支架环固定到移动支撑上并相对于移动支撑移动支架环的环定位单元。
28.一种成像装置,其中包括:
O形的支架环;
用来以悬臂方式在支架环的一端支撑支架环的装置;以及
用来相对于支撑将支架环定位的装置。
