Embodiment
[0029] with top summary of the invention partly mention the same, the present invention is devoted to a kind of being used for the improving equipment and correlation method of the pneumatic tyre unusual detection relevant with tire, and Doppler Lidar System and appropriate signals disposal system and method are used together in above-mentioned detection.
[0030] Figure 1 shows that the exemplary viewgraph of cross-section of pneumatic tyre 1.Pneumatic tyre 1 is by tread block part 2, sidewall sections 5, and bead part 6, tyre bead 4 and circumferential belt layer part 7 are formed.As following illustrated concrete like that, Fig. 1 also shows the general area 3 that the tyre surface separation may take place.
[0031] Figure 2 shows that another exemplary viewgraph of cross-section of pneumatic tyre 1.Tire 1 shown in Fig. 2 comprises all parts of the tire of describing among Fig. 11, but stressed parts 3 slightly different in the tire ', may separate by the initial ring belt there.Also show the exemplary representative equipment of realizing according to present technique that is used to detect tire 1 internal abnormality among Fig. 2.As figure, shown the radar Doppler unit of forming by micropower impulse radar (MIR) Transmit-Receive Unit 8 and directional antenna 9 among the figure.The electric signal that is coupled to signal processing unit 11 and signal processing unit 11 from the electric signal of MIR8 is coupled to signal application device 12, will illustrate in greater detail these two unit subsequently.
[0032] as shown in Figure 2, the antenna 9 of radar Doppler unit 8 points to the outside tread contour zone 10 of tire 1, and shines above-mentioned zone 10 when work.When surface of tyre or subsurface circumferential belt layer during near radar Doppler unit 8, radar Doppler unit 8 and signal processing unit 11 are worked together to detect the rapid variation of their speed.The electric signal that is produced by radar Doppler unit 8 and the radial velocity of surface of tyre and the radial velocity of the circumferential belt layer under the surface of tyre are directly proportional.
[0033], is necessary the brief description notion of " separation of tread rings belt " once in order to further specify the mode of operation of present technique.It is the phenomenon of the separation of pierce tap from airtyred tyre surface is sealed that the tread rings belt separates.The tread rings belt separate be from rubber and metal in conjunction with the initial point of weakness, tear then.The bending that these initial points cause along with the aging and local heating of rubber for tire and increasing.The increase of initial point is relevant with the formation of vesica.Along with the development that the tread rings belt separates, these vesicas are grown up and are merged.Use known laser shear interference (shearography) technology, can measure the tread rings belt and separate.A kind ofly be used to measure exemplary laser shear interference technology that inner tube of pneumatic tyre face circumferential belt layer separates and comprise tire to be tested is placed in the pressure chamber.Under normal pressure, for example use ccd video camera to treat the testing tire imaging and image is deposited in the storer.From the pressure chamber, extract and treat air out the testing tire reimaging then.Air vesica in the tire promptly, shows the position that the tread rings belt separates, and reduces to expand and cause squeegee action owing to the outer surface of tire air pressure.Use electronic device from memory image, to deduct the image of under the squeegee action state, taking, and show the error image that obtains.These images that are shown are presented on the monitor with the interference fringe form, thereby have shown the situation that the tire tread circumferential belt layer separates.Although clearly this method of testing is effective, be not suitable for fully being used on the vehicle of motion, but disclosed the same with present technique, it provides a kind of useful non-destructive technology that is used for the comparison/affirmation of tread rings belt separation detection really.
[0034] as mentioned above, present technique comprises the beginning of using Doppler's micropower impulse radar (MIR) Transmit-Receive Unit 8 to separate with detection tread rings belt.Comprise the product that radar Doppler Transmit-Receive Unit that front McEwan patented claim is described in open or any other can obtain by commercial sources according to the instantiation of the Doppler MIR of technology disclosed by the invention.As previously mentioned, present technique is used signal processor processes or is analyzed the signal that MIR equipment produces, to detect beginning and other tire relevant abnormalities that the tread rings belt separates.For this notion is described, please refer to Fig. 3, the exemplary figure of MIR output voltage data during the figure illustrates testing tire and once rotating.By using a kind of and similar laser shear interference of aforementioned techniques technology to measure, this specific testing tire does not have tangible tire belt to separate.In the test of using according to present technique, (Discrete Fourier Transform, frequency analysis DFT) is analyzed the graphical data among Fig. 3 in order to determine to exist the tread rings belt to separate in the tire, use to have discrete Fourier transform (DFT).In order to realize above-mentioned analysis, must know number of samples corresponding to given rotation.With reference to figure 3 and Fig. 4, adopt known sampling frequency, for instance, 40,000 samples/sec, the number of samples in can obtaining to rotate and can use normal scatter Fourier transform (DFT) to do analysis.The result of this processing can be drawn into figure, and as shown in Figure 4.The voltage signal that " energy " representative is obtained from MIR among Fig. 4 square, and it can be represented with any measurement unit.Therefore, Fig. 4 has represented the relativity of " energy " (measurement unit arbitrarily) and harmonic wave, and above-mentioned harmonic wave is based on tire rotational speed in the test.
[0035] analyze like Fig. 5 and Fig. 6 representation class, the mean value of 15 rotations of tire when data representation wherein shown in Figure 5 is tested, and diagrammatic representation among Fig. 6 and the similar analysis result of Fig. 4, but the data of using are from Fig. 5.
[0036] for identification tread rings belt from Fig. 4 and derivation energy spectrum shown in Figure 6 separates and other abnormal tyres, can use following technology.At first, the average energy E of harmonic energy spectrum AvCan use following formula to calculate:
E av = Σ i = 1 N E i N Equation 1
And the barycenter CM of Harmonic Distribution can be calculated as follows:
CM = Σ i = 1 N iE i Σ i = 1 N E i Equation 2
E wherein iBe i energy component of harmonic spectrum, and N is a number of samples.
[0037] someone expects that the calculated value of equation 1 increases and the calculated value of equation 2 reduces.In order to test these expections, the same with the detection of laser shear interference, some are had tire (the tire A-D) test of different tread rings belt fractional doses.Fig. 7 has described the barycenter of energy distribution in these tire Harmonic Distribution and the relation curve of average energy (measurement unit arbitrarily).Tire A tread rings belt fractional dose minimum, and tire D tread rings belt fractional dose maximum.Compare with the effectiveness of spininess more, with the effectiveness of these two values be: CM and E the dedicated algorithms of particular harmonic AvThe overall performance that stands the tire that the tread rings belt separates with all is relevant, rather than and basically with tyre type, size, and even test condition and the value that changes is relevant.Can carry out some further modifications to the basic test algorithm.First modification must reduce to be shown to from two dimension shown in Figure 7 the tolerance of one-dimensional measurement.Realize that a kind of mode that above-mentioned tolerance reduces is to use ratio:
G = CM E av Equation 3
Because when can and use equation 3 in detecting, the value that should transmit tire does not have priori, so should use initial measurement that equation 3 is carried out normalization.Under the situation of many Tire testings, can measure the G value of tire A, be used as the normalization factor G of tire B, C, D then 0For the evolution test that the tread rings belt separates, can measure the initial value of new tire and the normalization that this value is used for all follow-up measurements.That is to say that j meter readings is:
C j = CM j G 0 E Avj Equation 4
G wherein 0It is initial measurement meter reading.In most of the cases first meter readings is in the tire of perfect condition with representative, and as the reference of all succeeding states.Use normalization to realize two things: the first, the variation that the radar power and bit that must consider when it has eliminated the belt separation of use Doppler micropower impulse radar (MIR) measurement tread rings or other abnormal tyres is put.The second, the professional knowledge of the specific tires of using when it does not need to possess about test, that is, what kind of the possible vehicle effect of energy level and CM seal with to(for) specific tyre surface be.
[0038] another kind that can carry out fundamental measurement is revised the improvement that relates to time base stability and average.Vehicle will produce sizable noise in incomplete smooth travels down.This noise may stem from comprise MIR on vehicle the installation site and the relatively independent motion of vehicle tyre in interior multiple source.Therefore, As time goes on, this relative motion has produced moving of some, and this will produce voltage noise in any system based on Doppler.The appearance of big amplitude noise need be carried out filtering to sampled signal.In the most basic filtering method, base is averaged in the time of can using signal simple, for instance, carries out this algorithm when gathering Fig. 5 and data shown in Figure 6, needs stable time base but great amount of samples averaged.
[0039] in the process of the various indexs that assessment tread rings belt separates, carries out some tests.A kind of tread rings belt that comprises in these tests separates the research that develops, and when it attempts to form the separation of tread rings belt in the tire that originally is new tire, discerns this tread rings belt and separates.Separate in the process that develops test at the tread rings belt, can affirm that there are some other influences that can obscure tread rings belt separating and measuring in the there.In these influences first is uneven wearing and tearing.During tread rings belt discrete testing, a uneven wear that begins to form certain degree in the testing tire does not separate but also produce the tread rings belt.It should be noted that and use identical being used to measure the measuring technique that the tread rings belt separates, the development of uneven wearing and tearing is separating analogous with the tread rings belt basically.On the other hand, should be noted that the variation of Harmonic Distribution barycenter (CM) does not have average energy to change soon when uneven wearing and tearing become serious more.This just makes that measuring equation (equation 3) is modified to:
G = CM E av Equation 5
Really reduce as if average energy reduced uneven wearing and tearing to the influence of measured value measurement sensitivity.Find that according to further test not only tread rings belt separation detector is responsive to uneven wearing and tearing, and it is also very responsive to treadwear.Although it has a clear superiority on the measurement treadwear, it has pointed out to follow the possible problem of tread rings belt separating and measuring.Because measure the increase of dependence average energy and the skew of harmonic wave CM,, might cause the misregister that the tread rings belt is separated for the indiscreet selection of harmonic wave to be analyzed.
[0040] influence of having pointed out has shown necessity of windowing, and windowing here means by selecting to wait to study the scope of harmonic wave, interested various different phenomenons are analyzed.For example, by using the harmonic wave of said method research in from the 3rd harmonic wave to n harmonic wave scope, can measure separation of tread rings belt and uneven wearing and tearing, n is the first-harmonic about tread contour here.By the harmonic wave in selecting from n harmonic wave to m harmonic wave scope and measure average energy, treadwear that can the analytical test tire, m is the higher hamonic wave of tread contour energy here.By observing harmonic wave 1 and harmonic wave 2, can study wheel balance and location.In an exemplary embodiment, n can be the 60th harmonic wave, and m can be the 120th harmonic wave.Use the windowing method according to the harmonic wave scope, this ability of the belt separation of identification tread rings or other abnormal tyres shows the correlativity of piecewise function as follows:
Figure C200410098538D00131
Equation 6
Here f (CM j), g (E Avi), l (CM j) and m (E Avi) be the function of rule of thumb determining, it provides enough measurement ranges, and can rule of thumb determine weighting function, to provide enough sensitivity to the research phenomenon.In equation 6, a is the appropriate real-valued constants of selecting with correct differentiation state of needs because according to observations, for the different value of barycenter, can be desirably in different phenomenons develop in difference to some extent.The piecewise function of definition provides the template that is used for many functions in the equation 6, and these functions can be used in measures the separation of tread rings belt, treadwear and uneven wearing and tearing, and they are carried out appropriate identification.
[0041] thereby; a kind of equipment and method, the especially a kind of equipment of micropower impulse radar and signal analysis technology and method used that is used to detect the tire relevant abnormalities is described at this, above-mentioned signal analysis technology comprises the basis of harmonic wave scope as the particular type that detects abnormal tyre or defective.The hardware simplicity of using a plurality of advantages of present technique to be embodied in reality is used is to following degree: need not professional Add-ons or other sensors as inner patch, just can under the situation that does not change tire itself, in any pneumatic tyre, use monitoring technology.Although do not need professional Add-ons, should not get rid of the extra tire hardware of use in the technology of the present invention.
[0042], is to be understood that in a single day those skilled in the art understand foregoing and just can propose correction, variation and equivalent arrangements to this embodiment at an easy rate although the present invention is described in detail by specific embodiments.Thereby the scope of the present disclosure is to illustrate rather than be implemented scheme by embodiment to limit, and the present invention does not get rid of and contained conspicuous for the ordinary skill in the art correction that the present invention is carried out, changes and/or augmented.
