背景技术

现在参考图6，所示为在板26的凝固聚氨酯区22中形成的图案28的放大图。通常，因为第一聚氨酯8和第二聚氨酯16各自包含至少一个反差特性，所以顶部表面23包含图案28。在已说明的实施方案中，反差特性为颜色。然而，可以结合其它反差特性或其组合以形成图案如形成反差的硬度或不同程度的黏性。在所述图中，第一聚氨酯8限定了第一颜色70并且第二聚氨酯16限定了第二颜色72。如图7更详细地显示，在凝固区22的顶部表面23上的图案28包含分别由第一聚氨酯8的第一颜色70和第二聚氨酯16的第二颜色72所限定的第一区78和第二区80。
如上所述，在第一水浴36中将两种聚氨酯8和16凝固在基材2上。在凝固之前将第二聚氨酯16涂布在第一聚氨酯8的顶部表面10的一部分上允许聚氨酯在第一聚氨酯区的顶部表面10下面混合并形成整体使得凝固聚氨酯形成单一的凝固区22(见图8A和8B)。尽管这两种聚氨酯在凝固前混合并在凝固过程中形成这两种聚氨酯的整体，但是每种聚氨酯基本上保持其最初的特性。在聚氨酯的一种或多种特性中的反差形成图案28。尽管所述特性保持基本上不同，但沿着这两种聚氨酯的界面可能存在一些混杂。
在已说明的实施方案中，第一聚氨酯区8的顶部表面10与第二聚氨酯区16的顶部表面18组合以形成凝固区22基本上平滑的顶部表面23。在表面23上的反差色70和72组合产生图案28。如果第一聚氨酯为红色并且第二聚氨酯为白色，那么上面论述的方法可以产生具有不同的红色区和白色区的凝固聚氨酯区，而不是单一混杂的粉红色区。尽管第一聚氨酯8和第二聚氨酯16的反差特性保持基本上不同，但是顶部表面23下面的聚氨酯结构优选在遍布优选连续的小孔结构的不同聚氨酯(见图8A和图8B)之间没有接缝。
图8A是样品凝固板26的在图7中沿着线8-8所取的横截面的100倍放大图。图8A显示了在样品聚酯尼龙毡中的基材区2，所述基材区2具有沿着粘合界面82与凝固聚氨酯区22的底部表面21粘合的顶部表面4。顶部表面23通常是平滑的。该结构在第一区78和第二区80之间的顶部表面23和第一聚氨酯8与第二聚氨酯16交界的凝固区22内部都适宜地没有接缝。显然该结构并不是仅仅没有接缝并且不是仅仅凝固的，而是两种聚合物相互聚合以形成凝固区22。因此，在已说明的实施方案中，凝固区22是聚合区。凝固区22还优选包含多个通常垂直延伸的小孔24、顶部表面23和底部表面21。通常遍及在顶部表面23和底部表面21之间的凝固区22，包括第一聚氨酯8与第二聚氨酯16交界的区中形成小孔24。尽管优选聚氨酯形成凝固区，但是可以使用具有反差特性的其它液体聚合物。通常，这些聚合物在其为液态时组合并被允许聚合在一起。因为所述聚合物聚合在一起，所以聚合区22的结构可以在至少在聚合区22的外表面23上保持反差特性的同时优选没有接缝。
图8B是在图8A中显示的横截面的一部分的500倍放大图。从图中明显看出，第一聚氨酯8和第二聚氨酯16凝固在一起以形成凝固区22，所述凝固区22在第一颜色区78和第二颜色区80之间以及在凝固区22内部的聚氨酯之间具有基本上没有接缝的结构。
可以将图8A和图8B与如图9A和图9A所示使用油漆以形成具有多种颜色的板的现有技术方法比较。在该现有技术中，单一的聚氨酯区在基材102上凝固以形成包含凝固区122的板126。为了得到具有不同颜色的区，将具有顶部表面199和底部表面197的油漆198涂布在凝固聚氨酯区122根据需要的顶部表面123上。在涂布油漆之前凝固聚氨酯并且该油漆在板的表面上形成薄的独立区。
使用油漆198涂布聚氨酯122的凝固区的现有技术方法改变了板126的特性。如图9A所示以及在图9B中更详细地显示，油漆198没有和聚氨酯区108形成整体。而是，油漆198的底部表面197粘合到聚氨酯区108的顶部表面123上。在申请人已知的实施方案中，涂布在表面的油漆具有与它涂布的聚氨酯不同的触觉特性，包括不同程度的黏性或硬度。例如，通常上油漆的把手在油漆覆盖区比在聚氨酯的未上油漆区更不黏。另外，在使用过程中，聚氨酯上的油漆可能磨损从而导致把手外观老化或破旧。尽管具有价值并且独特，但是申请人的引入反差特性的其它解决方案(包括多种板、板条或插条的使用)在各种组分之间产生接缝。
本发明的实施方案允许制造具有有反差特性的区的把手，其中所述区的结构没有接缝。例如，具有适宜程度的黏性和硬度的红色聚氨酯可以与具有相同的适宜程度的黏性和硬度的蓝色聚氨酯组合使用。由这两种材料形成的板可以包括独特的彩色图案和具有基本上均一程度的黏性和硬度的无缝结构。
现在参考图10，所示为板26的在图6中沿线10-10所取的部分示意性横截面图。反差区78和80在顶部表面23上是可见的。因为如上所述，在第一聚氨酯8的顶部表面10上涂布第二聚氨酯16的过程中喷嘴56相对于纤维网14移动，在不同的区域或区上涂布不同量的第二聚氨酯16。当聚氨酯混合时，第二聚氨酯16沉积到第一聚氨酯8中。
在水浴36之后，凝固区22限定了在其顶部表面23和其底部表面21之间的总深度DPolyT。在不同区中，第二聚氨酯16从顶部表面23延伸到凝固区22中至深度DPoly2处。根据多种因素，包括纤维网14在喷嘴56下面通过的速度、来自喷嘴56的第二聚氨酯16的流速以及喷嘴56在X和Y方向上的移动速度，可以改变DPoly2与DPolyT的比率。在一些实施方案中，在一些区中DPoly2与DPolyT的最大比率并优选平均比率是至少1比15、1比10、1比5、1比4、1比3和/或1比2。在一些区中，在聚氨酯16从顶部表面23延伸至底部表面21时该比率是1比1。在一些实施方案中，该比率在板26的不同区中不同。
如上所述，凝固区22通常是多孔的。这种多孔区具有在凝固区22的顶部表面23和底部表面21之间的总深度DPorousT。在不同区中，第二聚氨酯16从顶部表面23延伸至多孔凝固区22中至最大深度DPorous2处。DPorous2与DPorousT的比率可以改变。在一些实施方案中，在一些区中DPorous2与DPorousT的最大比率并且优选平均比率是至少1比50、1比40、1比30、1比20、1比15、1比10、1比5、1比4、1比3和/或1比2。在一些区中，在第二聚氨酯16从顶部表面23延伸至底部表面21通过多孔凝固区22时所述比率是1比1。在一些实施方案中，该比率在板26的不同区中不同。
在图中显示的图案28是采用申请人的制造聚氨酯板的方法可以得到图案的一个实例。其它图案也是可以的。例如，在一些实施方案中，在纤维网14上涂布第二聚氨酯16时喷嘴56保持稳定以在第一聚氨酯8的顶部表面10上形成第二聚氨酯16的固体条纹。根据将板26形成为把手界面I的情况，所述条纹可以水平、垂直或者以在把手界面I上一定角度延伸。
在一些实施方案中，第一聚氨酯8的顶部表面10形成凝固区22的基本上整个顶部表面23。在这些实施方案中，在凝固过程之前可以涂布相对较少量的第二聚氨酯16。在其它实施方案中，第二聚氨酯16的顶部表面18形成凝固区22的基本上整个顶部表面23。在这些实施方案中，凝固过程之前可以涂布相对大量的第二聚氨酯16。本发明的实施方案可以包括具有类似图案的不同区。在一些中，图案可以重复并定位，使得由板形成的把手界面I包括具有反差特性如颜色的至少三个区。在一些实施方案中，可以形成具有有反差特性的至少5个区的把手界面I。在一些中，可以有具有反差特性的至少7个区。在一些中，可以有具有反差特性的至少10个或更多个区。不论是在把手界面I的整个宽度上、沿着把手界面I的长度还是在两者的组合上，都可以在把手界面I的凝固区22的整个顶部表面23上排列这些具有反差特性的区。
现在参考图11，所示为在图9A和图9B中显示的板126的部分横截面图。凝固区122是多孔的并且包括通常平滑的顶部表面123和底部表面121。顶部表面123可以包括一个或多个可以向下延伸至凝固区122中的不规则部分125。将油漆198涂布在凝固区122的顶部表面123上。由于在凝固区122的顶部表面123中的不规则部分125，油漆198可以延伸到凝固区22中至深度DPorous2处。尽管不清楚，但是在图9B中显示的DPorous2与DPorousT的比率似乎不大于1比100。因此，如果油漆是涂布在凝固区的表面上的第二聚合物，那么油漆涂覆的板的DPorous2与DPorousT的比率远远不是上述的1比50比率。
如图12所示，板26可以形成为把手界面I。把手界面I是以面板P的形状显示的。优选面板P是从板26中冲切出的。如本领域技术人员所理解，板26可以形成为包括板条、面板、插条或具有图案的面板的多种形状中的任何一种。
面板P包括顶部表面74、顶部侧面84、底部侧面86、第一侧面88和第二侧面90。在顶部表面74的至少一部分上从顶部侧面84至底部侧面86所绘制的线优选穿过具有不同特性的聚氨酯的多个区。在一些实施方案中，具有面板P的形状或不同形状的把手界面I在沿着在顶部表面74的至少部分上从顶部侧面84至底部侧面86所绘制的线，可以包括具有不同特性的至少2、至少3、至少5、至少7或至少10个区。在一些实施方案中，把手界面I在沿着所述线可以包括在2至500个区之间的范围的区。应该理解这些区的不同特性沿着所述线可以是交替的两种或更多种的颜色。备选地，所述区的不同特性沿着所述线可以是交替的不同程度的黏性或硬度。
类似地，在顶部表面74的至少部分上从第一侧面88至第二侧面90所绘制的线还优选穿过具有不同特性的多个区。在一些实施方案中，把手界面I沿着在顶部表面74的至少部分上从第一侧面88至第二侧面90所绘制的线可以包括具有不同特性的至少2、至少3、至少5、至少7或至少10个区。在一些实施方案中，把手界面I沿着所述线可以包括在2和500个区之间的范围的具有至少一种不同特性的区。
同样地，在面板P中从凝固区22的顶部表面74至底部表面21所绘制的线可以穿过多个区。在一些实施方案中，把手界面I沿着从凝固区22的顶部表面74至底部表面21所绘制的线可以包括具有不同特性的至少2、至少3、至少5、至少7或至少10个区。在一些实施方案中，把手界面I沿着所述线可以包括在2和50个区之间的范围的具有至少一个不同特性的区。
如图13-15所示，优选对面板P的侧面进行切片。从图13和14应该注意的是，优选对面板P的第一侧面和第二侧面进行相互平行的切片。这种切片形成的构造可以有利地用以形成第一和第二切片纵向侧面的基本上纵向的重叠交叉。备选地，能够以与图15显示的面板P的顶部侧面和底部侧面的切片类似的方式对面板P的第一和第二侧面进行反向平行(anti-parallel)切片。在具有反向平行的纵向侧面边缘的情况下，可以通过交迭这些边缘形成基本上为纵向的交叉。备选地，该交叉可以被缝合或另外被接合。
通常，面板P的顶部表面74直接接触使用把手G的使用者的手。然而作为本领域的技术人员应该理解的是，在面板P上可以包括附加涂布区。应该理解：还可以借助于刷子、喷嘴、喷雾器等，在实施本发明的把手的顶部表面的全部或部分上涂布聚氨酯和/或其它材料(没有显示)的薄区以保护该表面并赋予其黏性和/或增加其耐久性。所述附加涂布区优选是透明的或半透明的，使得由凝固区22中的聚氨酯的反差特性形成的面板P的外表面上的任何可见图案的一些或全部保持可见的。只要可以通过附加涂布区看见面板P的一部分，该附加涂布区可以是有些不透明的。可以将附加涂布区结合到预先形成的把手G中或可以在粘贴到内衬套管上之前涂布在面板P上。如果被使用，附加涂布区而不是把手的顶部表面直接接触使用者的手。然而，即使在包含附加涂布区时，面板P的顶部表面也被认为是把手G的顶部表面。
采用例如申请人的美国专利6,843,732和6,857,971中所示的摩擦增强图案，可以进一步增强面板P。如果在把手的顶部表面包含附加涂布区，也可以采用摩擦增强图案进一步改进该区。除如图16-26所示粘贴到供铁头球棒使用而配置的内衬套管U上以外，还可以将面板P粘贴到供轻击棒使用而配置的套管(没有显示)上。这种轻击棒套管可以包含基本上平坦的区，例如如申请人的美国专利6,843,732和6,857,971中所示。
许多个体高尔夫球手和高中、大学以及专业队喜欢增进友情和团结，由于油漆的浮凸装饰，这可以通过在不降低舒适性、耐久性或黏性的情况下在其高尔夫把手上加上团队颜色而实现。这些实施方案允许在高尔夫球杆和轻击棒把手上涂覆多种颜色以允许这些团队和个人以从没有过的方式展示其精神和热情。多种颜色或其它反差特性可以组合成一种无缝结构。
应该理解前述仅仅是本发明的原理的说明，并且本领域技术人员可以在不偏离本发明的范围和精神的情况下作各种修改、替换和组合。

Claims (42)

1.一种制造把手的方法，所述方法包括如下步骤：
提供第一液体聚氨酯；
提供第二液体聚氨酯；
在第一聚氨酯的至少部分上涂布第二聚氨酯；
使第一聚氨酯和第二聚氨酯凝固以形成凝固区，其中在第一聚氨酯凝固前涂布第二聚氨酯。
2.如权利要求1所述的方法，其中所述提供第一聚氨酯的步骤还包括提供具有第一颜色的第一聚氨酯并且所述提供第二聚氨酯的步骤还包括提供具有与第一聚氨酯的第一颜色不同的第二颜色的第二聚氨酯。
3.如权利要求1所述的方法，其中所述提供第一聚氨酯的步骤还包括提供具有第一程度的黏性的第一聚氨酯并且所述提供第二聚氨酯的步骤还包括提供具有与第一聚氨酯的第一程度的黏性不同的第二程度的黏性的第二聚氨酯。
4.如权利要求1所述的方法，其还包括提供基材的步骤。
5.如权利要求4所述的方法，其中所述提供基材的步骤还包括提供包含毡的基材。
6.如权利要求1所述的方法，其中所述涂布第二聚氨酯的步骤还包括从喷涂设备喷涂第二聚氨酯。
7.如权利要求6所述的方法，其中所述喷涂第二聚氨酯的步骤还包括在第二聚氨酯的涂布过程中移动所述喷涂设备的步骤。
8.如权利要求7所述的方法，其中所述移动所述喷涂设备的步骤还包括以预定图案移动所述设备。
9.一种制造把手的方法，所述方法包括如下步骤：
提供第一液体聚合物；
提供第二液体聚合物；
在第一聚合物的至少部分上涂布第二聚合物；
使第一聚合物和第二聚合物聚合以形成聚合区，其中在第一聚合物聚合前涂布第二聚合物。
10.如权利要求9所述的方法，其中所述提供第一聚合物的步骤还包括提供具有第一颜色的第一聚合物并且所述提供第二聚合物的步骤还包括提供具有与第一聚合物的第一颜色不同的第二颜色的第二聚合物。
11.如权利要求9所述的方法，其中所述提供第一聚合物的步骤还包括提供具有第一程度的黏性的第一聚合物并且所述提供第二聚合物的步骤还包括提供具有与第一聚合物的第一程度的黏性不同的第二程度的黏性的第二聚合物。
12.如权利要求9所述的方法，其还包括提供基材的步骤。
13.如权利要求12所述的方法，其中所述提供基材的步骤还包括提供包含毡的基材。
14.如权利要求9所述的方法，其中所述涂布第二聚合物的步骤还包括从喷涂设备喷涂第二聚合物。
15.如权利要求14所述的方法，其中所述喷涂第二聚合物的步骤还包括在第二聚合物的涂布过程中移动所述喷涂设备的步骤。
16.如权利要求15所述的方法，其中所述移动所述喷涂设备的步骤还包括以预定图案移动所述设备。
17.一种高尔夫球杆把手，其包含：
第一聚合物区，其具有顶部表面的、底部表面和第一特性；和
第二聚合物区，其具有第一特性并且涂布在第一聚合物区的所述顶部表面上；
其中第一聚合物和第二聚合物聚合以形成具有顶部表面和底部表面的聚合区。
18.如权利要求17所述的把手，其中第一聚合物的顶部表面形成所述聚合区的顶部表面的一部分。
19.如权利要求17所述的把手，其中第一聚合物的所述顶部表面是裸露的。
20.如权利要求17所述的把手，其中所述把手还包含具有顶部表面和底部表面的基材区，所述基材区的顶部表面与所述聚合区的底部表面粘合。
21.如权利要求20所述的把手，其中所述基材是粘贴到所述聚合区上的。
22.如权利要求20所述的把手，其中第二聚合物形成所述聚合区的顶部表面的一部分。
23.如权利要求22所述的把手，其中所述聚合区限定在其顶部表面和底部表面之间延伸的深度DPolyT并且第二聚合物从所述聚合区的顶部表面延伸到所述聚合区中至深度DPoly2处。
24.如权利要求23所述的把手，其中DPoly2与DPolyT的比率是至少1比15。
25.如权利要求23所述的把手，其中DPoly2与DPolyT比率是至少1比10。
26.如权利要求17所述的把手，其中第二聚合物形成所述聚合区的顶部表面的一部分。

31.如权利要求27所述的把手，其中第一聚合物还包含第二特性并且第二聚合物还包含第二特性，第一聚合物区的第二特性不同于第二聚合物的第二特性。
32.如权利要求31所述的把手，其中第一特性包含颜色并且第二特性包含黏性程度。
33.如权利要求27所述的把手，其中所述聚合区的顶部表面还包含热压摩擦增强图案。
34.一种高尔夫球杆把手，其包含：
具有第一特性的第一聚氨酯区；和
具有与第一聚氨酯区的第一特性不同的第一特性的第二聚氨酯区；
第一聚氨酯区和第二聚氨酯区凝固以形成具有顶部表面和底部表面的多孔凝固区，第一聚氨酯和第二聚氨酯组合以在所述凝固区的顶部表面上形成图案，其中所述凝固区还包含第一聚氨酯的连续区，所述连续区在包括一部分所述图案的所述凝固区的顶部表面的一部分下面。
35.如权利要求34所述的把手，其中第一聚氨酯区和第二聚氨酯区的第一特性包含颜色。
36.如权利要求34所述的把手，其中所述凝固区的顶部表面是基本上平滑的。
37.如权利要求36所述的把手，其中第二聚氨酯区具有从所述凝固区的顶部表面延伸的深度，所述深度为该凝固区的顶部表面和该凝固区的底部表面之间距离的至少十五分之一。
38.如权利要求36所述的把手，其中第二聚氨酯区具有从所述凝固区的顶部表面延伸的深度，所述深度为该凝固区的顶部表面和该凝固区的底部表面之间距离的至少十分之一。

41.如权利要求36所述的把手，其中第二聚氨酯区具有从所述凝固区的顶部表面延伸的深度，所述深度为该凝固区的顶部表面和该凝固区的底部表面之间距离的至少五分之四。
42.如权利要求36所述的把手，其中第二聚氨酯区具有从所述凝固区的顶部表面延伸至所述凝固区的底部表面的深度。
