背景技术
诸如家用网络等局域网络中的联网设备的数目正在增加，并且其上存储的数据量也在增加。一般地，家用网络用户以不同格式在/通过其家用设备存储与访问几种类型的内容(例如音频、视频、图像、以及其他数据文件)。除访问这些之外，家用用户还一般通过广播电视或者电缆网络访问音频/视频广播数据流。
另外，诸如外部网络、因特网(例如万维网)等等源上的可用的信息量不断增长。例如，很可能用户可能在因特网上发现关于在用户的家用网络中的设备上存储的至少某些数据的有用的信息。很可能用户可以通过不同的来源找到大量的不同格式(结构化、半结构化、以及非结构化)的此类相关信息。
但是不存在一种系统，其允许用户容易地无缝地访问此类相关信息。用户可以达到这一点的唯一方式为通过利用因特网搜索引擎或者直接访问用户认为可能包含此类相关信息的网站(通过网络浏览器)，手工地进行对所希望的信息的搜索。由此，用户被迫要理解与分析大量的信息来识别/访问用户正在寻找的确切信息。
存在几种现有的方法，其中用户可以获得资源网络中的信息。在一种方法中，用户请求信息。用户利用关键词指定信息，然后浏览信息以发现满足用户需求的信息片断。但是，利用没有键盘的设备(例如消费电子(CE)设备)指定关键词是一项烦人的工作。
另一种方法涉及使用TV与PC的配置。PC分析TV节目的字幕，并且将节目归类为一般、新闻、医药、等等。类别的层次是固定的，并且根据向提出广播TV观众提出的问题建立。特定节目的内容被映射到固定数目的类别上。只有当内容匹配所指定的类别之一时，用户才可以观看附加的信息。查询被链接到固定的来源，这会限制用户可以重试的信息量。另外，需要PC，并且当PC关闭时，该系统无法工作。因此，需要一种方法与系统，用来分析与获得对用户感兴趣的信息，而不会限制具体的信息来源。
发明内容

在向电子设备的用户提供对可能感兴趣的信息的访问时，此类方法有用，其通过监控用户与该设备的交互以识别用户所访问的信息，根据所识别的信息确定关键信息，其中所识别的信息包括闭合字幕信息，并且根据所述关键信息，搜索可用来源以寻找用户可能感兴趣的信息。搜索可用来源包括：根据所述关键信息形成查询，并且使用该查询来搜索外部网络，例如因特网。
此类电子设备的一个例子为CE设备，例如接收包括闭合字幕信息的TV节目的TV。分析用户访问/观看的TV节目的闭合字幕信息，并且提取关键信息。这涉及将闭合字幕信息转换为文本，去除无用词(stop word)，并且根据其出现频率、专有名词信息、和/或其他标准，为剩余的词排序。排序后的词表示用来形成查询、并且利用诸如可用的因特网搜索引擎等搜索引擎进行搜索的关键信息，例如关键词/词组。搜索结果被呈现给用户作为推荐，表示用户可能感兴趣的信息。用户可以在推荐中进行选择用于进一步搜索，以找到用户感兴趣的其他信息和/或更细致化的信息。

具体实施方式
本发明提供了一种方法与系统，用来分析与获得用户感兴趣的信息，而不会限制具体的信息来源。通过监控用户与连接到外部网络的设备局域网中设备的交互，确定用户可能感兴趣的潜在信息。此类设备可以为连接到因特网的局域网(例如家用网络)中的CE设备。
在一种实现中，这涉及接收包含闭合字幕(CC)信息的闭合字幕节目，并且分析该闭合字幕信息，以寻找指示用户兴趣的关键信息。然后使用该关键信息来从诸如因特网等信息源找到用户可能感兴趣的相关信息。
在诸如TV等典型CE设备上，在缺少键盘的情况下，用户难于通过输入关键词来搜索因特网上的信息。如果用户正在观看TV节目，则这是对于用户对该TV节目的内容感兴趣的良好指示。因此，通过收集与分析作为该TV节目的CC信息而接收的文本，分析该TV节目的内容。另外，从关于正在观看的频道的信息，收集上下文信息。CC信息与上下文信息可以被组合并且用来对用户进行关于用户可能感兴趣的信息的推荐。
所收集的信息用来确定用户可能感兴趣的一或多个关键词。然后使用关键词来搜索因特网上的相关信息。例如，如果用户正在观看涉及Baltimore的新闻节目，则提取词“Baltimore”作为关键词。使用该关键词来形成查询，以通过利用搜索引擎来搜索因特网以寻找信息，例如包括关于Baltimore市或者Baltimore Ravens等等的信息的网站。
将搜索结果呈现给用户作为推荐，其包括可能的搜索查询，其可以由用户选择并且被执行来找到因特网上用户可能感兴趣的进一步的信息。例如当用户正在电视上观看关于Antartica(南极洲)的纪录片时，选择关键词Antartica作为关键词，并且在因特网上的搜索返回“polar bears”(北极熊)作为用户可能感兴趣的推荐。然后用户选择该推荐，以找到关于北极熊的更多的信息。如果是这样的话，则向搜索引擎发送对于“polar bears”的查询，并且向用户显示结果。
搜索不限于预定或者固定数目的类别或者查询或者信息来源。在一个例子中，根据CC信息，识别进行搜索的关键词。可以向用户建议关键词，其中当用户选择时，利用搜索因特网上可用来源(搜索引擎可用的不同网站)的搜索引擎，而非预定和/或固定数目的来源(例如一或多个特定网站)，获得附加信息。

实现分析TV闭合字幕信息的处理的系统接收TV信号作为输入。监控用户正在观看的频道，并且分析作为该TV信号的一部分的对应的闭合字幕信息。然后，确定关键词集合，其掌握了用户正在观看的内容的大意。
图2显示根据本发明实施例的、用于分析TV闭合字幕信息的例子系统200的功能方框图。系统200使用频道监控器201、TV信号到文本转换器202、无用词过滤器204、专有名词检测器206、索引器208、词典210、以及关键词提取器212。
监控器201监控TV/电缆信号，并且确定用户访问/观看的频道信息。该信息包括闭合字幕信息，通过利用图3A所示的例子处理300，来分析闭合字幕信息以提取掌握上下文的确切的词语。例子处理300包括以下步骤：
步骤302：由转换器202利用已知转换方法，将闭合字幕信息转换为文本。
步骤304：由无用词过滤器204去除文本中的无用词。无用词包括本身没有意义的词，例如“of”、“on”、“the”等等。
步骤306：利用专有名词检测器206，当没有大小写信息时，通过比较剩余文本中的每个词与词典210，检测(识别)专有名词。一般地，专有名词以大写字母开始。在其他情况下，所获得的文本对大小写不敏感。词典210包括不是专有名词的词。如果在词典210中没有当前词，则假定其为专有名词。专有名词传递有用的上下文信息，因为其指人物、地方、或者事物的特有名称。由此，由专有名词检测器206对被识别为专有名词的词进行标记，以备以后的排序。

步骤314A：当用户激活TV控制器(例如TV遥控器)上的特定按钮时，提供包括该用户动作的用户请求。应用户请求，关键词提取器212将最后n秒中的词放于一边作为最重要的词。

另外，所提取的关键词可以被转换为不同的语言，并且用于搜索来在因特网50上寻找附加的信息。另外，将关键词而非句子从一种语言转换为另一种语言较简单，并且可以利用一种语言到另一种语言的词典进行该转换。对于可能仅理解小部分正在观看的TV节目的语言的用户，这是有利的。
图4显示根据本发明的、用于分析TV闭合字幕信息以在因特网上找到相关信息的另一例子系统400的功能方框图。该系统400为图2中系统200的变体，并且还包括词组提取器214，用来在关键词之外还识别词组。词组的例子可以为“Baltimore Ravens”，以替换关键词“Baltimore”与“Ravens”。
在该实施例中，关键词提取器212不仅依赖于来自专有名词检测器206与索引器208的信息，而且使用来自词组提取器214的信息来获得关键词。词组提取器214包括词组识别器功能，其按照一组规则，利用索引器208记录的频率以及相伴频率信息，识别重要的词组。在识别多词词组(例如“UnitedNations”、“A1 Quaeda”等等)时，这是重要的。

3、将不在词典中的专用名词与词当作无意义词组。
词组提取器214包括术语提取器功能，其从索引提取最高得分术语与词组。将该术语与词组呈现给用户，并且可以使用该术语与词组来进一步搜索以提供用户感兴趣的附加信息。
可替换地，词组提取器214包括自然语言处理(NLP)标记器以及提取重要词组的提取规则集合。在运行时，NLP标记器将闭合字幕文本中的每个词标记其词性(即，该词为“名词”、“形容词”、“专有名词”等等)。提取规则定义了此类标记的重要的序列类型。例如，一条规则可以为提取为“多于一个′专有名词′的序列”的词组，另一条规则可以为提取“一或多个′形容词′之后为一或多个′名词′的序列”。词组提取器将这些规则应用到词性标记器标记的文本，并且提取遵守这些序列的词组。其还可以用来通过利用适当的规则，提取单个词的关键词。
在一个例子中，在图2和/或图4中，除因特网/搜索引擎50之外的所有元件都驻留在CE设备(例如CE设备30)上。在另一个例子中，在图2和/或图4中，因特网/搜索引擎50驻留在因特网上，词典210驻留在网络上(局域网或者因特网)，而其他元件驻留在CE设备30上。
虽然在此处提供的例子中，使用TV来接收闭合字幕信息，但是本发明可以用于根据本发明的、接收可以用来分析以确定和搜索用户感兴趣的信息的其他设备(例如音乐播放器等等)。
另外，虽然在图1中，用来接收包括闭合字幕信息的节目的CE设备30显示被连接到家用网络，但是不需要此类家用网络，并且CE设备可以为从电缆、卫星、DSL或者其他节目来源接收节目的独立设备，而不用连接到家用网络。此类独立设备仅需要被连接到例如连接到因特网50的信息来源，而不需要家用/局域网络。另外，本发明可以在可以为独立设备或者可以连接到家用/局域网络的非CE设备(例如图1中的设备20)中实现。另外，虽然在此处的例子中闭合字幕信息用来分析与确定用户的兴趣，但是在另一实现中，本发明可用于表示用户正在访问/观看的节目或者内容的类型的其他类型的信息。
如本领域技术人员所知，可以许多方式实现根据本发明的上述的示例体系结构，例如由处理器执行的程序指令、逻辑电路、应用专用集成电路、固件等等。已经较详细地参照其某些优选版本描述了本发明；但是其他版本是可能的。因此，权利要求的精神与范围不应该限于此处包含的对优选版本的描述。

Claims (49)

1.一种向电子设备的用户提供对可能感兴趣的信息的访问的方法，包括以下步骤：
当在该设备显示内容时，在改变频道或发现主题变化时，更新从与自节目／故事开始时起的内容对应的闭合字幕信息中提取的词，并更新从与最后n秒的内容对应的闭合字幕信息中提取的词，其中n是预设值；
监控该用户与该设备的交互；
应用户请求并利用从最后n秒收集的所有词的频率，来从与最后n秒的内容对应的闭合字幕信息中提取的词中提取关键信息；以及
根据所述关键信息，搜索可用资源，以寻找该用户可能感兴趣的信息，
其中，所述关键信息包括上下文信息。
2.如权利要求1所述的方法，还包括以下步骤：向该用户提供所述可能感兴趣的信息。
3.如权利要求1所述的方法，其中所述搜索可用资源还包括以下：根据所述关键信息，形成查询；以及利用该查询，搜索外部网络。
4.如权利要求1所述的方法，其中：
所述设备包括电视机；
所述监控步骤还包括以下步骤：监控该用户与该电视机的交互；以及
所述提取关键信息的步骤包括：分析通过该电视机提供给该用户的、与最后n秒的内容对应的所述闭合字幕信息，以确定所述关键信息。
5.如权利要求1所述的方法，其中当内容改变为不同的节目／故事时，重置从与自节目／故事开始时起的内容对应的闭合字幕信息中提取的词。
6.如权利要求5所述的方法，其中所述监控步骤还包括：监控该用户通过该设备选择访问哪个内容。
7.如权利要求6所述的方法，其中所述监控步骤还包括：监控通过该用户通过该设备选择访问的频道提供的所述闭合字幕信息。
8.如权利要求1所述的方法，其中所述根据所述关键信息，搜索可用资源的步骤包括：使用电子节目指南信息，与频道和节目信息一道形成查询。
9.如权利要求1所述的方法，其中所述提取关键信息的步骤还包括：
将所述闭合字幕信息转换为文本；以及
分析该文本，以确定该用户感兴趣的关键词和／或关键词组。
10.如权利要求1所述的方法，其中所述提取关键信息的步骤还包括以下步骤：
将所述闭合字幕信息转换为文本；
去除该文本中的无用词；以及
根据该文本中的剩余信息的出现次数，选择此类信息作为所述关键信息。
11.如权利要求1所述的方法，其中所述提取关键信息的步骤还包括：
将所述闭合字幕信息转换为文本；
去除该文本中的无用词；
对于每个剩余的词，当不存在大小写信息时，通过比较该词与词典，检测专有名词；否则，根据每个词的第一个字符的大小写，检测专有名词；
确定并且索引剩余的词的出现频率；以及
根据频率以及相关的专有名词检测情况，提取该用户感兴趣的词作为所述关键信息。
12.如权利要求11所述的方法，其中所述提取感兴趣的词的步骤还包括：
根据特定排序标准，排序剩余词集合；
检查剩余词集合，以寻找专有名词；以及
从排序后的词与专有名词，生成排序列表作为关键词，其中高排位词与专有名词优先级较高。
13.如权利要求12所述的方法，其中所述剩余词集合从n秒时间段中选择。
14.如权利要求1所述的方法，还包括以下步骤：
向该用户提供搜索结果，作为该用户可能感兴趣的信息；
接收用户对所述用户可能感兴趣信息的选择；以及
根据用户选择的信息，进行对可用资源的进一步搜索，以寻找用户可能感兴趣的附加信息。
15.如权利要求1所述的方法，其中：
所述设备连接到局域网；以及
所述搜索可用资源还包括：根据所述关键信息，形成查询，并且利用该查询，搜索因特网。
16.一种向设备的用户提供对可能感兴趣的信息的访问的系统，包括：
索引器，其被配置来：当在该设备显示内容时，在改变频道或发现主题变化时，更新从与自节目／故事开始时起的内容对应的闭合字幕信息中提取的词，并更新从与最后n秒的内容对应的闭合字幕信息中提取的词，其中n是预设值；
监控器，其被配置来：监控该用户与该设备的交互；
关键词提取器，其被配置来：应用户请求并利用从最后n秒收集的所有词的频率，来从与自节目／故事开始时起的内容对应和与最后n秒的内容对应的闭合字幕信息中提取的词中提取关键信息；以及
搜索模块，其被配置来：根据所述关键信息，搜索寻找该用户可能感兴趣的信息，其中，所述关键信息包括上下文信息。
17.如权利要求16所述的系统，其中所述搜索模块还被配置来：根据所述关键信息，造成对可用资源的搜索，以寻找该用户可能感兴趣的信息。
18.如权利要求17所述的系统，还包括：被配置来向该用户显示搜索结果作为所述用户可能感兴趣的信息的模块。
19.如权利要求17所述的系统，其中所述系统还包括：查询形成模块被配置来根据所述关键信息，形成查询，并且所述搜索模块利用该查询，造成对外部网络的搜索。
20.如权利要求17所述的系统，其中：
所述设备包括电视机；
所述监控器还被配置来：监控该用户与该电视机的交互；以及
所述关键词提取器还被配置来：分析通过该电视机提供给该用户的、与最后n秒的内容对应的所述闭合字幕信息，以确定所述关键信息。
21.如权利要求20所述的系统，其中所述监控器还被配置来：监控该用户选择在该电视机上接收哪些信息。
22.如权利要求21所述的系统，其中所述监控器还被配置来：监控该用户选择在该电视机上观看哪些频道。
23.如权利要求22所述的系统，其中所述监控器还被配置来：监控通过该用户选择在该电视机上观看的频道提供的所述闭合字幕信息。
24.如权利要求19所述的系统，其中所述查询形成模块还被配置来：使用电子节目指南信息，与频道和节目信息一道形成查询。
25.如权利要求16所述的系统，其中所述系统还包括：
转换器，其被配置来：将所述闭合字幕信息转换为文本，并且
所述关键词提取器还被配置来：分析该文本，以确定该用户可能感兴趣的关键词和／或关键词组。
26.如权利要求16所述的系统，其中所述系统还包括：
转换器，其被配置来：将所述闭合字幕信息转换为文本；以及
无用词过滤器，其被配置来：去除该文本中的无用词，并且
所述关键词提取器还被配置来：确定该用户感兴趣的词作为关键信息。
27.如权利要求16所述的系统，其中所述系统还包括：
转换器，其被配置来：将所述闭合字幕信息转换为文本；以及
无用词过滤器，其被配置来：去除该文本中的无用词，并且
所述索引器被配置来：确定剩余词的出现频率，和
所述关键词提取器还被配置来：根据出现频率，确定该用户感兴趣的词作为关键信息。
28.如权利要求16所述的系统，其中所述系统还包括：
转换器，其被配置来：将所述闭合字幕信息转换为文本；
无用词过滤器，其被配置来：去除该文本中的无用词；以及
专有名词检测器，其被配置使得：对于每个剩余的词，当不存在大小写信息时，该专有名词检测器通过比较该词与词典，检测专有名词；否则，该专有名词检测器根据该词的第一个字符的大小写，检测专有名词；以及
所述索引器还被配置来：确定剩余词的出现频率，和
所述关键词提取器还被配置来：根据出现频率以及相关的专有名词检测情况，确定该用户感兴趣的词作为关键信息。
29.如权利要求27所述的系统，其中所述关键词提取器还被配置来：根据特定排序标准，排序剩余词集合；从排序后的词与专有名词，生成排序列表；以及从该排序列表生成关键词。
30.如权利要求29所述的系统，其中所述剩余词集合从n秒时间段中选择。
31.如权利要求18所述的系统，其中：
所述模块还被配置来：向该用户提供搜索结果，作为该用户可能感兴趣的信息；以及接收用户对所述用户可能感兴趣信息的选择；以及
所述搜索模块被配置来：根据用户选择的信息，造成对可用资源的进一步搜索，以寻找用户可能感兴趣的附加信息。
32.如权利要求19所述的系统，其中：
所述电子设备被配置来连接到局域网；以及
所述查询形成模块还被配置来：根据所述关键信息，形成查询，并且所述搜索模块还被配置来：利用该查询，造成对因特网的搜索。
33.一种向电子设备的用户提供对可能感兴趣的信息的访问的装置，包括：
用于当在该设备显示内容时，在改变频道或发现主题变化时，更新从与自节目／故事开始时起的内容对应的闭合字幕信息中提取的词，并更新从与最后n秒的内容对应的闭合字幕信息中提取的词的部件，其中n是预设值；
用于监控该用户与该设备的交互的部件；
用于应用户请求并利用从最后n秒收集的所有词的频率，来从与自节目／故事开始时起的内容对应和与最后n秒的内容对应的闭合字幕信息中提取的词中提取关键信息的部件；以及
用于根据所述关键信息，搜索可用资源的部件，以寻找该用户可能感兴趣的信息，
其中，所述关键信息包括上下文信息。
34.如权利要求33所述的装置，其中所述用于搜索的部件还被配置来：根据所述关键信息，造成对可用资源的搜索，以寻找该用户可能感兴趣的信息。
35.如权利要求34所述的装置，还包括：用于向该用户显示搜索结果作为所述用户可能感兴趣的信息的部件。
36.如权利要求34所述的装置，其中所述装置还包括用于根据所述关键信息，形成查询的部件，并且所述用于搜索的部件利用该查询，造成对外部网络的搜索。
37.如权利要求34所述的装置，其中：
所述设备包括电视机；
所述用于监控的部件还被配置来：监控该用户与该电视机的交互；以及
所述用于提取关键信息的部件还被配置来：分析通过该电视机提供给该用户的、与最后n秒的内容对应的所述闭合字幕信息，以确定所述关键信息。
38.如权利要求34所述的装置，其中所述用于监控的部件还被配置来：监控该用户选择在该设备上接收哪些信息。
39.如权利要求38所述的装置，其中所述用于监控的部件还被配置来：监控该用户选择在该设备上观看哪些频道。
40.如权利要求39所述的装置，其中所述用于监控的部件还被配置来：监控通过该用户选择通过该设备访问的频道提供的所述闭合字幕信息。
41.如权利要求36所述的装置，其中所述用于查询的部件使用电子节目指南信息，与频道和节目信息一道形成查询。
42.如权利要求33所述的装置，其中所述装置还包括：
用于将所述闭合字幕信息转换为文本的部件，并且
所述用于提取关键信息的部件分析该文本，以确定该用户可能感兴趣的关键词和／或关键词组。
43.如权利要求33所述的装置，其中所述装置还包括：
用于将所述闭合字幕信息转换为文本的部件；以及
用于去除该文本中的无用词的部件，并且
所述用于提取关键信息的部件确定该用户感兴趣的词作为关键信息。
44.如权利要求33所述的装置，其中所述装置还包括：
用于将所述闭合字幕信息转换为文本的部件；以及
用于去除该文本中的无用词的部件，并且
所述用于定期更新从闭合字幕中提取的词的部件确定剩余词的出现频率，和
所述用于提取关键信息的部件根据出现频率，确定该用户感兴趣的词作为关键信息。
45.如权利要求33所述的装置，其中所述装置还包括：
用于将所述闭合字幕信息转换为文本的部件；
用于去除该文本中的无用词的部件；以及
用于使得如下的部件：当不存在大小写信息时，通过比较该词与词典，检测专有名词；否则，根据该词的第一个字符的大小写，检测专有名词，并且
所述用于定期更新从闭合字幕中提取的词的部件确定剩余词的出现频率；和
所述用于提取关键信息的部件根据出现频率以及相关的专有名词检测情况，确定该用户感兴趣的词作为关键信息。
46.如权利要求43所述的装置，其中所述用于提取关键信息的部件还被配置来：根据特定排序标准，排序剩余词集合；从排序后的词与专有名词，生成排序列表；以及从该排序列表生成关键词。
47.如权利要求46所述的装置，其中所述剩余词集合从n秒时间段中选择。
48.如权利要求35所述的装置，其中：
所述部件还被配置来：向该用户提供搜索结果，作为该用户可能感兴趣的信息；以及接收用户对所述用户可能感兴趣信息的选择；以及
所述用于搜索的部件被配置来：根据用户选择的信息，造成对可用资源的进一步搜索，以寻找用户可能感兴趣的附加信息。

所述电子设备被配置来连接到局域网；以及
