Description

易打开的令纸包装件和加热元件
技术领域
本发明一般地涉及一种用于经剪裁的纸的令纸包装件,并且特别地涉及一种容易打开的令纸包装件。 
背景技术
使用在影印机、打印机和类似设备中的经剪裁纸张通常取决于被打包的纸的类型及其目的而被打包成包含100-800张纸的堆垛。一令纸通常包含500张,但是在这里使用的“令纸”意在包括经剪裁纸张的堆垛,而不考虑所述堆垛中的张数。打包单元或令纸通常利用令纸包装件材料单独地包装或覆盖,被包装的令纸通常被打包在盒子或纸箱中以用于装运和贮存。令纸包装件使纸张堆垛保持完好,保护被包装的纸不受装运和贮存过程中的物理损害和吸收的湿气的影响,并且还在销售和/或使用时在装卸和贮存过程中保护纸。当需要将纸装入使用所述纸的机器中时,所述令纸包装件从一令或多令纸上被移除,纸被放置在机器的仓中或其它隔室中以用于在机器的操作过程中将纸供给至所述机器。 
令纸包装件通常包括纸、或涂覆有防潮材料或被处理为获得所期望的特性的纸、或可能由相对大的尺寸的单层薄膜构成的聚乙烯薄膜、或利用粘合剂层压在一起的两个或多个单独层的较轻重量的塑料薄膜的复合材料。通过将经剪裁纸张的堆垛放置在一张令纸包装件材料上、然后移动所述令纸包装件材料经过包装机、所述包装机使所述包装件围绕所述堆垛折叠并将其密封以封装所述堆垛,从而应用所述包装件。所述包装件通常被应用为使得两个长的边缘沿所述堆垛的纵向方向延伸,并在所述堆垛的顶部的中间部分处重叠。重叠的边缘可以被热封或利用胶水粘合地连接在一起,并且在完成的打包单元中,由这些密封在一起的重叠边缘产生的纵向接缝位于打包单元的底表面上。纵向接合的包装然后在其延伸超过所述堆垛端部侧被向内折叠,接着向内折叠在顶部和底部延伸超过所述堆垛端部 的材料,以限定出两个重叠的折边。位于所述堆垛端部处的向内折叠的材料被粘合地连接或热封在一起以使包装件围绕令纸固定。 
例如,粘合剂通常被使用在纸包装件上、有时在聚乙烯包装件上,以将令纸端部处的重叠的包装件材料固定在一起。特别地当使用在聚乙烯包装件上时,由粘合剂产生的密封部的质量与热封相比通常较差,因为粘合剂可能流到经剪裁纸张上,并且所涂覆的粘合剂的精确定位和质量可能难以控制。 
在被热封的令纸包装件中,所述包装件包括可热封的材料,所述材料可以包括聚乙烯薄膜或带涂层的纸或能够通过施加热量熔合在一起的其它可热封的材料。在包装件被向内折叠和重叠处,包装的令纸的端部通过施加热量将材料熔合在一起而被热封。在传统的热封系统中,包装的令纸每一端处的皮带传送所述令纸通过加热区域,所述加热区域具有一个或多个定位在所述区域每一侧的加热板,当所述令纸被传送通过加热区域时,所述板将热量施加到包装的令纸的端部,以在所述端部处其重叠的位置将包装件熔合在一起。在传统的机器中,所述板将热量施加到被包装的打包单元的整个端部,由此重叠的包装件材料的整个区域被熔合和密封在一起。这获得了在装卸和贮存过程中不会破裂的牢固连接,但是也难以打开。 
因此,期望获得一种具有传统令纸包装件的所有期望的特性的令纸包装件,所述期望的特性包括足够的强度以避免在装卸和贮存过程中破裂,但是也容易打开。 
发明内容
本发明包括一种令纸包装件,其具有传统的令纸包装件的所有期望的特性,包括足够的强度,以避免装卸和贮存过程中破裂,但却容易打开。 
本发明的令纸包装件使用基本上传统的令纸包装设备围绕经剪裁纸张的堆垛而包装,其中所述包装件围绕所述堆垛折叠,并且纵向接缝以传统的方式密封。然而,令纸的端部的材料仅在选定区域被固定和密封在一起。密封区域能够提供足够的抗破强度,同时当期望打开令纸时相对容易分离。 
更详细地说明,本发明包括一种被包装的经剪裁纸张的堆垛,所述堆垛由保护性包装件材料包装,所述包装件材料封装所述堆垛并被折叠以使 得所述包装件材料的重叠的折边覆盖所述堆垛的相反端,所述重叠的折边仅在包括所述重叠的折边的小部分的选定区域处被固定和密封在一起,其中密封区域具有足够的抗破强度,以避免在装卸和贮存过程中包装件的无意打开,但是在需要打开包装件以获取经剪裁纸张时相对容易分离。 
在本发明的一个优选实施方式中,令纸包装件材料是可热封的,并且令纸端部的材料在选定区域通过优选地在大约115℃和196℃之间施加热量而被连接和密封。所述热量通过加热元件施加,所述加热元件被设计为充分地加热材料,以在选定区域将其熔合在一起。加热元件可以呈任意形式和形状,但是在本发明的另一个优选实施方式中,它们包括加热板,所述加热板具有切除部分以限定出将热量集中在所述选定区域中的凸起区域。 
在又一个优选实施方式中,温度控制装置与加热元件相关联以获得加热区域的长度上的温度曲线,其中,所述区域的入口和出口部分处的温度低于所述区域中间部分处的温度。这避免包装件材料起皱或褶皱,如果在所述区域的整个长度上应用相同的温度,那么可能发生起皱或褶皱。 
进一步根据本发明,摩擦减小装置与加热元件和/或皮带相关联以在它们移动经过加热元件时减小令纸传送皮带上的磨损。在这里描述的特定的实例中,加热板的切除区域优选地被填充有例如为特富龙的低摩擦材料,所有暴露的角落和边缘都被平滑地倒圆,并且加热板由低摩擦材料制成或涂覆有低摩擦材料,所述低摩擦材料例如为镍-铬,由此每一个皮带滑动经过平滑的、平坦的低摩擦表面。

具体实施方式
更具体地参照附图,利用任意传统可用的可热封的包装件包装的令纸在图1中一般地以标记10表示。热量通过使用图4中示出的一个或多个加热板11被施加到包装的令纸的整个端部表面,由此令纸端部处的所有重叠的包装件材料被熔合在一起。如图3中所示,包装件材料的纵向边缘利用粘合剂或通过热封被重叠和固定在一起,以限定纸下侧中间部分的纵向延伸的纵向周边接缝12。 
根据本发明被包装和密封的令纸在图2中一般地以标记13表示。在令纸的端部处重叠的材料仅在如阴影区域14和15表示的选定区域中被熔合在一起。熔合的程度提供足够的强度,以防止在贮存和装卸过程中包装的 无意打开,而在需要时容易打开。 
所述包装件可以包括任意的市场上可购买到的可热封材料,并且在一个特定的优选实例中包括由可热封的双轴向聚丙烯薄膜构成的层压薄膜,其中一个薄膜是透明的并具有18克/平方米的单位重量和20微米的尺寸,另一个薄膜是不透明的并具有22克/平方米的单位重量和30微米的尺寸。所述薄膜在转换器处利用异氰酸多元醇(isocyanate polyol)粘合剂被层压在一起,其中透明的薄膜通常位于所述包装件的内部而不透明的薄膜位于所述包装件的外部。应当理解的是,不同的粘合剂可以被用于层压薄膜,并且可以使用不同重量和尺寸的透明和不透明的薄膜组合。此外,可以使用单层的透明或不透明的薄膜或两层透明或不透明的薄膜的复合材料。类似地,在制造所述一个或多个薄膜时可以使用聚乙烯代替聚丙烯,尽管包装件质量可能受到影响。此外,可以使用聚合物格状纸包装件。同样,可以使用涂清漆的聚合物包装件和/或涂清漆的纸包装件。 
虽然根据本发明可以使用任意的令纸包装件材料,但是,优选的是,令纸包装件具有按照TAPPI 410测量的从30到50、更优选地从32到45、最优选地从33到40磅 /300平方英尺 的纸张定量,包括其中的任意和所有的范围和子范围。 
虽然根据本发明可以使用任意的令纸包装件材料,但是,优选的是,令纸包装件具有按照TAPPI 411测量的从1.5到4密耳、更优选地从2到3、最优选地从2.4到2.6密耳的厚度,包括其中的任意和所有的范围和子范围。 
虽然根据本发明可以使用任意的令纸包装件材料,但是,优选的是,令纸包装件具有按照TAPPI 494测量的从15到50、更优选地从17到40、最优选地从19到35磅/英寸 的MD(纵向)抗拉强度,包括其中的任意和所有的范围和子范围。

用于加热和熔合图2中示出的包装件的加热板的一个最优选的形式在图5-8中一般地以标记16表示。所述板由适当的热传递材料制成,并且优选地通常为矩形,带有面对令纸的端部的前表面17。在一个优选的实施方式中,所述板由铝制成,并具有镍-铬涂层以减小将令纸传送经过加热元件(见下文)的皮带31、32上的摩擦。所述板的下部前边缘部分在标记18处凹进,由此所述凹进区域不会传递向包装的令纸的端部传递的同样多的热量,因此,令纸的端部的折边20的下部边缘部分19保持与下面的材料分离,以限定出可以被抓持以便于纸的打开的自由边缘。一对凹槽21和22也在前表面17中形成,所述凹槽终止于所述板的相对侧边缘附近,其中第一凹槽21(见图7)具有第一宽度W1并与凹进区域18的顶部间隔开距离D1,而第二凹槽22具有大于第一宽度的第二宽度W2并与第一凹槽间隔开距离D2,所述D2等于第一凹槽距离凹进区域的间距。所述凹进区域和凹 槽限定出一对在所述板的大部分宽度上延伸的热集中条23和24,并且每一个热集中条具有与距离D1和D2相对应的宽度W3。在所述最优选的实施方式中,凹槽被填充有例如为特富龙的低摩擦材料25。应当注意的是,板没有向皮带暴露的尖锐边缘,板的前沿和后沿在标记28和29处被倒圆。 
适当的传统的电阻加热元件或杆(未示出)被接收在竖直延伸于加热板中的孔26和27中,所述孔26和27相对彼此和相对板的相反侧边缘大致等距,以使得加热元件基本上均匀地加热所述板。通过竖直地定位凹槽和加热元件,所述元件可以从板的上部被更换。在传统的加热板中,加热元件水平地定位。虽然可以使用任意适当的加热元件,但是在一个优选的实施方式中,加热元件是由Watlow生产的J19J-3220和J19J-2156型号的500和1000瓦特的元件。加热元件可以任意组合使用,以获得所期望的结果。 
在根据本发明的板的一个特定实例中,凹进区域18大约为18.5毫米宽,以限定出大约8-10毫米宽的折边20上的“耳部”或自由边缘19,第一和第二宽度D1和D2以及因此热集中条23和24的宽度W3为大约8毫米,而凹槽的宽度W1和W2分别为大约7毫米和24毫米。此外,如图7中所示,可注意到的是,特富龙填充物稍微凹入凹槽21和22中。无论填充物是特富龙还是其它材料,可以这样设置以在填充物发热时容纳膨胀的填充物,由此填充物前表面与板的前表面平齐。所述结构在包装的令纸的端部产生熔合区域14和15,每一个所述区域具有大约为8毫米的宽度,并且在令纸的宽度上延伸,相对折边20的下部边缘19向上间隔开。 
应当注意的是,虽然上面提到的宽度和距离是本发明的优选实施方式,但是只要令纸包装件以平衡打开的容易性和避免装卸和贮存过程中破裂的方式而起作用,这样的宽度和距离就可以是任意宽度和距离或其组合。例如,优选的是,令纸包装打包单元的抗破强度和密封强度以这样的方式平衡抗破强度和密封强度,以使得在装卸和贮存过程中避免破裂,又允许容易地抓持至少一个重叠的端部折边的未密封边缘;通过所述未密封的边缘拿起所述打包单元,通过所述未密封的边缘摇动所述打包单元以打开端部(即重叠的热封折边)并获取内部的纸。

可以在实施本发明时使用的板的第二实施方式在图10中一般地以标记40表示。在所述实施方式的板中,有三个开口凹槽41、42和43,所述开口凹槽41、42和43宽度相等并间隔开地完全横穿所述板的宽度延伸,以限定出全都具有相等宽度的三个等矩间隔开的热集中条44、45和46。在另外的方案中,除了凹进区域为10毫米宽和8毫米深以及密封区域或热集中条为5毫米宽,板40基本上与上面描述的第一实施方式相同地构造和起作用。 
加热板的第三实施方式在图11中以标记50表示。所述板与图10中示出的板不同在于,凹槽被填充有例如为特富龙的低摩擦材料51。 
图12示出了加热板的一种备选设置,有六个沿所述区域的每一侧布置的板71-76,其中第一、第四和第六个板71、74和76不设有凹槽。在该附图中示出的设有凹槽的板72、73和75可以与图10和/或11中示出的板相同,但是这里描述的任意的板都可以被结合在所述方案中。 
图13示出了又一种设置,其中六个板81-86沿加热区域的每一侧布置(可以使用这里描述的任意的板),其中单独的温度控制器81a-81f和82a-82f与12个板中的每一个关联。 
虽然凹槽在一些实施方式中已经被描述为填充有特富龙材料,但是例 如为陶瓷的其它材料也可以是合适的,或者凹槽也可以是开放的。填充凹槽的目的是提供不会不必要地磨损皮带或传递热量的平滑表面。此外,根据期望或需要,可以使用具有被应用于其上的相同或不同瓦特数的任意数量的相似的或不同的加热板,并且不需要局限于附图中示出的数量。 
虽然本发明的特定实施方式在这里已经被详细的说明和描述,但是应当理解的是,在不背离由所附的权利要求书限定的本发明的精神和含义的前提下,可以对本发明进行多种变化和修改。 

Claims (6)

1.一种加热元件,所述加热元件被使用于将保护性包装件围绕经剪裁纸张的堆垛密封的机器中,其中
所述包装件包括可热封的材料,所述可热封的材料被折叠以使其在所述堆垛的相反端处具有重叠的折边,并且所述加热元件加热重叠的包装件材料以将其熔合在一起;
所述加热元件被构造为施加足够的热量,以仅在包括重叠的材料的小部分的选定区域中熔合重叠的包装件材料;
所述加热元件包括板,所述板具有在使用中面对所述堆垛的端部的平坦表面,所述表面设有凹槽以限定出一个或多个凸起的条,所述凸起的条将热量集中或聚集在由所述凸起的条限定的区域中,由所述凸起的条限定的所述区域与包装件被熔合在一起的所述选定区域相对应,以及
所述表面的至少一个凹槽被填充有至少一种低摩擦材料。
2.如权利要求1所述的加热元件,其特征在于,所述低摩擦材料是选自由特富龙和陶瓷组成的组中的至少一种材料。
3.如权利要求1所述的加热元件,其特征在于,所述低摩擦材料凹进至少一个凹槽中。
4.如权利要求3所述的加热元件,其特征在于,所述低摩擦材料是选自由特富龙和陶瓷组成的组中的至少一种材料。
5.如权利要求1所述的加热元件,其特征在于,所述元件的表面上设有至少两个凹槽,所述至少两个凹槽被填充有低摩擦材料,所述低摩擦材料选自由特富龙和陶瓷组成的组。
6.一种用于将保护性包装件应用和密封到经剪裁纸张的堆垛上的机器,所述包装件包括可热封的材料,所述材料封装所述纸张的堆垛并在所述堆垛的相反端处具有重叠的折边,所述机器包括至少一个如权利要求1所述的加热元件。
