Description

本发明涉及一种用于对电视接收机及磁带录相机进行集中操作和控制的系统。
随着磁带录相机（vcr）的发展，用户产生的一个问题是怎样使用录相机才能利用它的许多特征的优点，例如：电视节目的自动录制。调查表明，大多数拥有磁带录相机的人不懂得如何合适地利用这些功能，因而大大地失去了他们希望录制的节目。问题存在于这样的事实，即设置磁带录相机的定时功能的步骤非常复杂，而且这些步骤每次希望录制节目时必须被重复。
本发明的一个目的在于提供一种对电视机和录相机集中操作和控制的系统以使其使用简化。
本发明的另一目的在于提供一种系统，该系统能快速地通知用户插入录相机内的录相带所含有的节目，并使用户标识某些节目以便删除，而用户无需知道一具体磁带上的节目编排。
本发明的另一个目的在于提供一种系统，用这种系统用户对其喜爱的节目作一次标记。
本发明的进一步的目的在于提供一种系统用这种系统通知用户他所喜爱的每个节目的哪个节目以及近期什么时间安排广播，并自动提醒用户。该系统进而启动录相机录制该节目，并且，如果需要，通知用户所用磁带上的可用空间。
这些目的在一种对电视机和磁带录相机进行集中操作和控制的系统中实现了。所述电视机能够接收并显示各个电视频道及其它视频信号，所述磁带录相机至少能够录制所述广播频道的节目，并能复制先前录在磁带上的节目以及能以视频信号输出所述节目，所述系统包括使用户能够控制所述系统并借以操作所述电视机与/或录相机并使用户向系统输入有关用户喜欢的广播节目的信息及各种具体广播节目的装置，所述信息包括节目名、广播频道、开始时间、长度、所喜欢的广播节目的重放方式以及用户是否想录制该节目;第一存储装置，用来存储所述喜欢的广播节目的信息以及所述各个具体的广播节目的信息;第二存储装置，用来存储有关在所述录相机内当前插入的磁带上的节目的信息;第三存储装置，用来存储有关所述用户其它磁带上的节目的信息;连接于所述录相机用来控制录相机的响应所述存储在第1和第二存储装置中的信息以及所述启动装置的录制和复制功能的装置;与所述第一，第二与第三存储装置相连的输出装置，用来为所述电视机选择地提供所述系统的输出，包括喜欢节目的信息，所述当前磁带上的节目信息，以及所述其它磁带上的节目信息;还有与所述电视机相连的装置，用来选择地把电视机的输入端在所述广播频道和所述录相机输出与所述系统输出之间转换。

图1所示的系统包括一个电视接收机10和一个磁带录相机（Vcr）/调谐器20，它们都有自己的内部调谐器。电视接收机10包括一个用来接收视频信号的视频端口12。电视接收机10进一步包括一个用来接收信号用于遥控功能的控制输入18。
Vcr/调谐器20有一用来从视频信号源A（天线式电缆）接收视频信号的输入端22以及用以为电视接收机10的视频端口12提供视频信号的输出端口24。
微机30有一输出端口34，该端口连接于位于通向视频端口12的信号线上并用来在图象信号中插入图形的台从同步电路40。微机30具有三个与其相连的、用户使用的存储部分36A-36C，用来存储各种有关信息的程序。
上述的每一元件从控制器50接收控制信号，而控制器50又受遥控发遥器52控制。

关于录制选择，图7给出了解释这一过程的流程图。具体地说，在适当时刻，在方框702微机30检查录制选择标记，如果没有要录制的节目，则程序被退出。如果希望录制该节目，微机30则进行方框704，并且指令控制器50使录制机构120启动录制。如果录制选择为“如果不看，则录制，”在确定方框706，微机30就检查电视监视器100是否正在工作，如果没有工作，微机30就直接进行方框704。如果电视监视器100在工作，在方框708，微机30则检查适当的调谐器140或142以便查明电视监视器100是否正在显示广播相关节目的频道。如果是，微机30则退出程序。如果不是，微机30则进行方框704。
每一节目的节目说明页的底部包括调度选择-“应时的”或者“过时的”-这些字样借助重复按遥控发送机52上的Chang  eB钮52.3而循环出现。具体地说，在电视旺季期间，被调度的节目可能出现，而在淡季期间内，该节目就可能被中断并直到下一个旺季才出现。为了不使用户撤消这一喜爱的节目而后存入计的信息，可通过选择“过时”选择，用户便使系统在将来的节目菜单上及相继的自动调谐与/或该节目的录制中不再包括这一节目，尽管系统在喜爱的节目表中保留有该节目信息。稍后一点时间，这一选择可以被改变“应时的”，如此该节目再次被排定在适当时间观看与/或录制。
如图8a所示，将来的节目扩展通道表明下一个菜单页，例如7个喜爱的及特定的广播节目，这些节目从现在起按时间先后排定要被广播。随着时间的进展，经过每一节目的开始时刻，菜单页被更新，从而总是包括后面的7个节目。关于第4号节目，已注明ABC新闻是被安排录制的。这一节目的详细的菜单页（图8b）表明这一节目如果不看就录制下来以及磁带上有足够的空间容纳该节目，如果磁带上没有足够的空间，在详细菜单页上将出现一合适的信息（图8c），并且在将来节目扩展通道上的录制指示很显著（图8d）。应当指示，“Change  A”钮52.2启动录制请求，而Changt  B钮52.3则启动是否需要提醒或者给出哪种听觉/视觉提醒信号，例如，在节目开始前5分钟给出。这种提醒可以是声音信号或者一个图象信息（典型地作为PIP显示）。在合适的时刻，比如PIP可以显示该节目的头10秒。
图9a所示为系统工作的流程图，具体地说，是产生将来节目扩展通道表和相关节目说明页的程序，而图9b-9e表明图9a流程图的详细部分。在图9a中，在方框900处微机30从存储部分36A输入喜爱的广播节目和特定的广播节目，在方框902，微机30制定要发生的下7个节目的表，在确定方框904，微机30比较当前时间与表中第1个节目开始的时间。如果两者相等，在方框906，微机30就完成与第一节目的启动有关的工作，然后进入确定方框908，如图在确定为框904，两者的时间不相等，微机30则直接执行确定方框908，在确定方框908，微机30比较当前时间与第1节目预定的结束时间，如果二者不相等，微机30则返回决定方框904，如果二者相等，微机30就在方框910完成与第1节目结束有关的工作。然后，微机30在方框912处从表中除去已处理过的第1节目，并对剩下的6个节目重新编号。在方框914，微机30确定第7个节目，并将其排在表的末端。然后，微机30返回决定方框904。
图9b所示为方框902制表的子程序。具体地说，微机30在方框920处首先设定时刻t为当前时间，并设定一空的表。在方框922，微机30检查表中的节目，并确定时间t后的最近的节目，在方框924，微机30设定该节目结束时的时间t。最后在方框926，微机30把此节目加进表中并继续执行方框922。当七个节目都进入表中之后，微机30退出子程序。
关于所喜爱的广播节目，图9c表明用来确定在对于方框922的当前时间之后的最早的节目的子程序。关于这一点，在方框930，微机30确定当前时间之后的每个下一个所喜爱的广播节目的开始时间。在方框932，微机30取具有最早开始时间的节目。最后，在方框934，微机30对具有最早开始时间的节目给出数据结构。然后，这一子程序被退出。
为了确定已给定的喜爱的广播节目的下一个节目的开始时间，在图9d中的方框940，微机30建立含有星期几以及时、分的当前时间，从而使每一喜爱的广播节目上的信息含有播出的日期以及时、分。在判别方框942，微机30确定当前时间中的星期几是否与相关的喜爱的广播节目的日期一致。如果不一致，在方框944，微机就增加作为当前时间的星期几。如果一致，在判别方框946，微机30确定以时、分表示的当前时间是小于或者等于相关的喜爱的广播节目的时间。如果不是，微机30就执行方框944，如果是，微机30就执行方框948并回到相关喜爱的广播节目的星期几、时、分方框944之后，在判别方框950，微机30确定当前的日期是否与相关广播节目的日期一致，如果是，微机30就进行方框948，如果不是，微机30就返回方框944。
最后，关于图9a中的方框914，图9e表明了添满表的子程序。具体地说，在方框960，微机30设定时间t作为第6个节目的结束时间，因为表中包含1-6个节目。在方框962，微机30使用子程序图9c确定时间t之后的最早的节目，最后，在方框964，微机30将这一被找到的节目加入表中。
图10a所示为对“本磁带上的节目”的扩展的通道，而图10b所示为对第2号节目的节目说明页，为了观看这一节目，用户按遥控发送器52上的“View”钮52.4，图10c所示的节目说明页就显示出来，从而表明离节目开始还有多长时间。借助按下“Stop”钮52.5“观看”选择被结束，从而使用户返回图10b的节目说明页。虽然一般说来希望从头看一个节目，但借助按下按钮52.2“Changt  A”，可使其它的观看点启动-开头，开头后5分钟，上次中断前5分钟，中断处，中断后5分钟，以及结束前5分钟。按钮52.3“Change  B”用来选择该节目是被保留还是被抹点（在将来某时容纳另一录制的节目）。
磁带档案扩展通道如图10d所示是一菜单页，列出了用户磁带库中的其它磁带上的节目，这一节目表是从存储部分36C存储的节目表中取出的。
为了录制现在正在广播的节目，用户按遥控发送器上的按钮52.6“Record  Now”，如图11a所示，字样“录制”连同正被录制的节目在电视屏幕上出现大约10秒钟。一旦录制开始，在扩展通道上就出现这一磁带上的节目的说明（见图11b）。应该指出，系统自动地设定录制的终止时间为该磁带最多可利用的时间。不过，用户可借助按“Change  A”钮52.2来修改这一结束时间。借助按“Stop”钮52.5，结束录制。一旦录制完成，这一节目说明页就被给出，如图11C所示。
如果希望设定将来录制，就按按钮52.7“Reeored  Later”，此时便出现如图12a所示的节目说明页。一旦利用Change  A、Change  B按钮（即52.2和52.3）设定了各种参数，借助按“View”按钮52.4，该请求就被存储起来。所产生的节目说明页（图12b）被存储，并且该节目的名称现在已包括在将来节目扩展通道中。
应该指出，在空闲时间期间，例如用户结束放像后5分钟，或录制结束的瞬间，微机30通过控制器50使录相机的录放机构120把磁带定位到磁带上最大的空白区域的始端以适应“Record  Uaw”功能。此外，在安排录制开始之前10分钟，微机30通过控制器50使录相机录放机构120把磁带定位在一个空白区域的始端，这一空白区域在时间上与要录制的节目的长度匹配得最好。
图13a所示为实现这一过程的流程图。具体地说，方框1300a-1300d中任何一个都表明磁带已插入录相机录放机构120，方框1300b表示对以前录制的节目的保留/抹去的选择，方框1300c表明将来节目表的改变，方框1300d表明录制结束之后，可启动该程序。在方框1302，微机30把靠近的磁带空间并入空白区域。然后，在方框1304，微机30设定变量N为将来节目表中的节目数（此例中为7）。在方框1306，微机30给将来节目表中的第一批N个节目分配空间。如果这不可能，微机在方框1308就减少N，然后重复方框1306，当微机30能够成功地分配空间时，微机30就把信息“磁带合适”插入适当的节目说明页中，该节目说明页相应于将来节目表中的第一批N个节目，并且节省特定的空间分配（方框1310）。在方框1312，微机把“磁带不合适”的信息插入与将来节目表中的其余的节目相应的适当的节目说明页中。
为了提高它们的可见性，这些信息与节目说明页上的其它信息一道，可以用与在节目说明页的其它部分使用的颜色成对照的颜色显示。
图13b所示为一磁带的说明，该磁带含有占用区域（录制的节目被保留），可重新使用区域（录制的节目被抹去），和空白区域（空白磁带），每一区域都以二分之一小时为单位，图13c表明图13b的磁带中的相邻的可利用的区域被合并成空间区域。
图13d给出了详细说明方框1306的程序的流程图。具体地说，在方块1320，微机30检查是否N个节目所需的总的录制时间大于所有空间区域的总时间。如果是，在方框1322，微机30就设置失败标志。如果不是，微机30在方框1324就把空间区域分配给具有相同长度的各节目，然后在方框1326，微机30对剩余的空间区域为剩余的节目进行不同分配的尝试，在微机30不能完成方框1326的匹配的情况下，微机30就执行方框1322，否则，在方框1328，微机30就将尝试性的分配作为最终分配。
图13e是详细说明13d的方框1326的流程图。具体地说，在方框1330，微机30产生第一种节目和区域的组合，在方框1322，微机30检查是否被分配到一个区域的所有节目的总长度小于或等于该区域的长度。如果是，微机30就转向方框1328，这就表明已找到了一种成功的组合。如果不是，在方框1334，微机30就产生一组新的组合然后重复方框1332。当所有组合都被试过而没有成功时，微机30就转向1322。图13f用来说明对一具体的节目表及一具体磁带的各种可能的组合。在那里，节目1和节目4直接与区域4和1匹配。其余的节目2、3、5分别与区域2、2、3匹配，如图所示。
虽然到此为止，对各种扩展的通道都以其出现在电视监视器100的主显示上进行了描述，虽然，这些扩展的通道可以交替地选择作为加于主显示部分的PIP显示。因为PIP显示比主显示小得多，如果整体显示，扩展通道的电视信息就会模糊不清。图14a及图14b所示为将来节目及该磁带上的节目的节目说明页的PIP表示，为了PIP显示的可见度，原文的内容被缩短了。当需要在PIP显示上显示扩展通道时，控制器50就使PIP发生器110提供一作为PIP显示的合适的电视信号，而微机30则把PIP扩展通道供给合适的台从同步电路40或42。
还应当指出，PIP显示可用来显示各种提醒信息。例如，如果在将来节目开始时正在观看另一节目，则PIP就可显示最初10钟的将来节目，从而使用户转向这一节目，如果需要可把PIP和主显示交换。此外，PIP可以用来通知将来节目录制的开始。
图15是本系统的另一实施例的方框图。这一实施例除使用了一个位于PIP电路110之后的台从同步电路40之外，基本上与图2所示的类似。在这一实施例中，与微机30产生PIP扩展通道作为全尺寸的电视图象及PIP电路110然后减小这一图象并将其在电视监视器100上定位不同，微机30直接产生PIP扩展通道的图象（以及任何PIP信息）并把它们加在PIP电路输出端的电视信号上，借此这些图象出现在电视监视器100的合适位置上。
对于本领域的技术人员会提出多种此处所披露的结构，不过，应当理解，所描述的实施例仅仅是为了解释的目的，而不是说本发明仅限于此。所有不脱离本发明的构思的修改都将被包括在所提出的权利要求的范围之内。

Claims (15)

1、一种用于集中操纵和控制电视接收机和磁带录相机的系统，所述电视接收机能够接收并显示不同的电视广播频道以及其它的视频信号，所述磁带录相机至少能从所述广播频道上录制节目并能复制先前录制在磁带上的节目并能把所述节目以视频信号输出，该系统包括：
使用户能够控制所述系统并借以操纵所述电视接收机与/或录相机以及向系统输入有关用户喜欢的广播节目的信息及各种具体广播节目的装置，所述信息包括节目名、广播频道、开始时间、长度、所喜欢的广播节目的重放方式以及用户是否想录制该节目；
第一存储装置，用来存储所述喜欢的广播节目的信息以及所述各具体的广播节目的信息；
第二存储装置，用来存储有关在所述录相机内当前插入的磁带上的节目信息；
第三存储装置，用来存储有关所述用户的其它磁带上的节目信息；
连接于所述录相机的装置，用来响应所述存储在第1、第2存储装置中的信息以及所述启动装置，以完成录相机的录制和复制功能；
与所述第一、第二和第三存储装置相连的输出装置，用来为所述电视机选择性地提供所述系统的输出，包括喜欢节目的信息，所述当前磁带上节目的信息，以及所述其它磁带上节目的信息；以及
与所述电视接收机相连的装置，用来选择性地转换所述电视接收机以及接收所述广播频道，所述磁带录相机的输出以及所述系统输出。
2、一种如权利要求1所述的系统，其中所述在第一、第二存储装置中的每一个所存储的信息呈节目说明页形式和菜单页形式，存储在第三存储装置上的信息呈菜单页的形式。
3、一种如权利要求2所述的系统，其中所述输出装置，当附加通道包括在电视通道环内时，输出所述节目说明页和所述菜单页。
4、一种如权利要求1所述的系统，其中所述电视接收机及磁带录相机内部都装有遥控接收器，并且所述磁带录相机操纵装置包括与所述磁带录相机遥控接收机共同工作的第一发送器，所述电视接收机调谐装置包括与所述电视遥控接收机共同工作的第二发送器。
5、一种如权利要求1所述的系统，其中所述电视接收机与磁带录相机包括一个电视监视器、一个磁带录/放机构、和第一、第二电视调谐器。
6、一种如权利要求5所述的系统，其中所述的系统包括一个具有连接在那里的用以存储所述各种信息的存储器的微型计算机，所述微机有一个输出端，用以提供所述系统输出;有一个控制器，用以为所述电视监视器、所述磁带录相机录/放机构以及所述第1、第2电视调谐器产生控制信号，所述控制器具有数据输入装置并从所述微机接收控制信号，又为它提供控制信号。
7、一种如权利要求6所述的系统，其中所述数据输入装置包括一粗线条编码扫描器。
8、一种如权利要求6所述的系统，其中所述的数据输入装置包括一个键盘。
9、一种如权利要求6所述的系统，其中所述系统进一步包括：视频信号转换装置，该装置与所述第1、第2调谐器的一个输出端及所述录相机录/放机构相连;一个台从同步电路，用来选择性地把微机的输出加在所述视频信号转换装置的一个输出上，所述台从同步电路具有与所述视频信号转换装置相连的第1输入，与所述微机输出相连的第二输入，以及与所述电视监视器相连的一个输出，所说视频转换装置接收来自所述控制器的转换控制信号。
10、一种如权利要求9所述的系统，其中所述系统进一步包括一个PIP（Picture-in-Picture）发生电路，该电路具有与所述台从同步电路的输出相连的第一输入以及一个与所述电视监视器相连的输出;一个另外的视频信号转换装置也连接于所述第1、第2调谐器的输出端及所述磁带录相机的录/放机构上;以及一个另外的台从同步电路，它具有连接于所述另外的视频信号转换装置的一个输出的第一输入，一个连接于所述微机另一输出的第2输入，以及一个输出，此处所述PIP发生电路具有一个连接于所述另外一个台从同步电路输出的第2输入，借此，响应来自所述控制器的控制信号，所述同步电路的输出或者所述另外的台从同步电路的输出可以作为主图像显示在所述电视监视器上或作为PIP图像出现在主图像的一部分上。
11、一种如权利要求10所述的系统，其中所述系统进一步包括用来控制所述控制器的、用户操纵的遥控发送器，所述遥控发送器具有用来在所述第1、第2调谐器里选择频道的开关，从而操纵所述电视监视器和所述录相机录/放机构，并使之显示各种不同的所述菜单页。
12、一种如权利要求11所述的系统，其中所述存储器包括第1、第2和第3存储装置，其中所述存储在第1、第2存储装置上的信息呈节目说明页和菜单页的形式，存储在所述第3存储装置上的信息呈菜单页的形式。
13、一种如权利要求12所述的系统，其中所述微机，当附加通道包括在电视通道环中时，输出所述节目说明页和所述菜单页。
14、一种如权利要求13所述的系统，其中所述节目说明页和菜单页包括关于所述遥控发送器上所述的不同开关的说明，用以选择性地改变所述节目说明页上的控制信息，从而操纵所述系统。
15、一种如权利要求13所述的系统，其中所述每个节目说明页包括所描述节目中的一幅图象，所述图象被编码并和节目信息一道存储。
