Abstract

技术领域
本发明涉及一种用于插塞式连接器,特别是印刷电路板插塞式连接器的接点组件,包括一个由塑料制成的承载体和多个容纳在承载体内的接点,每个接点有2个插接部分和在2个插接部分之间的一个过渡部分,该过渡部分至少部分外露。
背景技术
这种接点组件由欧洲专利0,422,785得知。这种接点是利用注模法嵌入在承载体内。承载体内部有凹口,接点的过渡部分通过凹口自由延伸。通过恰当地选择过渡部分的外露长度可达到要求的阻抗匹配。
在一些应用中可能希望借助回流钎焊法在印刷电路板上安装一种装有上述接点组件的插塞式连接器。在这种方法中,把焊料敷在印刷电路板上。然后把配装插塞式连接器的印刷电路板放在烘箱内加热,结果焊料熔化,使构成插针并插接于印刷电路板的插接部分钎焊于印刷电路板上。
这种方法存在的问题是,为了使所有插针的钎焊连接达到持久的高质量,所有插针都必须尽可能地均匀受热,已经发现对于在已知的接点组件不能保证接点均匀良好受热。
发明内容
本发明的目的是改进上述接点组件,以保证所有接点能更均匀迅速地受热。
在如上所述的接点组件中,为了达到这一目的,规定为承载体配备导热板,使这些导热板位于过渡部分之间并贴近过渡部分。本发明是基于一项发现:在早先的接点组件技术中存在的过渡部分之间的空气起着绝热体的作用,妨碍插针均匀加热。导热板主要用于均匀分配各接点之间的热量。由于通过过渡部分时接点组件的较长接点要比较短接点吸收的热量较多,这就在接点之间得出一个温度梯度。借助导热板消除这个温度梯度。此外,导热板为烘箱内的热空气提供较大的热交换面,该热交换面的大小几乎与过渡部分外露表面的大小相等。这使接点快速受热,从而缩短钎焊过程时间。导热板的正面效果最终归结为:导热板使承载体稳定。为了在回流钎焊期间使接点组件之间的空气自由循环,上述承载体要制做得尽可能的薄,这样会达到额外的稳定性。
构成本发明基础的原理可以用下述的另一些词语表述:接点组件的承载体制做成很薄的,即,其厚度相当于接点过渡部分的厚度。结果是接点暴露在承载体的外侧面。承载体的厚度大于相邻接点柱之间的距离。结果是在单个承载体之间保持稍大的距离,从而使烘箱内的热空气能在承载体之间容易循环。
根据本发明的优选实施例,导热板在承载体的外侧面上与过渡部分保持齐平。这可使热空气在相邻接点组件之间无阻碍地循环。
根据本发明的优选实施例,还规定在承载体的一个外侧面要借助至少一块加强板把导热板相互连接在一起,加强板横向延伸到过渡部分。加强板使导热板保持稳定,这样,在轴向负荷作用于接点组件的条件下,导热板不会凸起,甚至也不会翘曲,在插装接点组件时可能产生轴向负载。
最好承载体具有厚度大于导热板厚度的加强边缘,承载体还具有厚度也大于导热板的支承板。加强边缘借助环流通道与支承板相互分开。加强边缘和支承板共同提高承载体的机械强度,两者被精确地配置在特定区域,即作用于插接部分上的力一定会传至承载体上的那些区域。环流通道用于专门加热具有最短过渡部分、因而也总是变热最慢的接点,也就是在支承板和加强边缘之间转移的接点。
根据本发明的可选择实施例,可以在承载体出口区内以约270°用注模法围绕接点。发现要把接点牢牢地锚定在承载体内,不需要用注模法将接点完全埋装起来,这样,可以节约材料。

具体实施例
图1示出一个印刷电路板插塞式连接器3,该连接器具有外壳4和多个插装在外壳内的接点组件5,接点组件5之间保持着相互平行又彼此隔离的小空间。外壳为每个接点组件备有互补插塞式连接器的接点能够插入的接点口线柱6。
在附图示出的实施例中,每个接点组件(见图2-4)有5个接点12,每个接点都有2个插接部分14,16和1个过渡部分18。插接部分14由接点簧片构成,被配置在外壳4内接点口的后面。插接部分16构成可插入印刷电路板(图中未示出)的插针。由于接点簧片和插针相互呈90°延伸,这种类型的插塞式连接器也被称之为直角插塞式连接器。
接点组件的接点配置在略呈长方形平面的塑料制成的承载体20内。在由接点簧片14至过渡部分18的转移区域内,承载体配装有加厚的支承板22。支承板在接点组件面向互补插塞式连接器的一侧保证了具有足够的机械强度。紧贴支承板22配置有基本上平直的承载体中间部分24。
中间部分24配装相互之间具有一定自由空间的导热板26,接点的过渡部分设置在这些空间内。导热板的厚度与过渡部分的厚度相等,并与过渡部分毗连。如图3所示,导热板与过渡部分齐平,这样,除加强边缘28外,中间部分24的这一边是平直的。加强边缘制做成与插针16相毗连。加强边缘28的末端与支承板22保持一定距离,这样就形成环流通道30。环流通道适用于改善空气沿中间部分24另一平直端的循环流动。环流通道被精确地配置在具有最短过渡部分的接点区内,这样就可专门加热这个接点。
在图2中可看到的中间部分24的侧边上,加强边缘28被连续形成。在这个图中的上边缘和下边缘之间形成2个与导热板26连成一体的加强板32。加强边缘28用作为接点过渡部分18的接触面。
在图2中用虚线示出了一个可选用的实施例,其中,在承载体接点出口区域内的加强板28和支承板22中备有沟槽34。这样,仅以约270°就可借助注模法将接点围绕在这个区域内。这种结构可节约材料和进一步改善空气循环。
除空气能沿接点组件外侧很好地循环外,上述结构还有另一个优点:由于中间部分制做得非常薄,也就是说其厚度与接点过渡部分的厚度完全一样,在与接点钎焊在一起时必须加热的塑料材料的数量会减小到最低限度。这就保证在较短时间内能实现更均匀地加热。

Claims (5)

1.一种用于插塞式连接器的接点组件(5),包括一个塑料制成的承载体(20)和多个容纳在承载体内的接点(12),每个接点具有2个插接部分(14,16)和一个在2个插接部分之间的过渡部分(18),过渡部分至少部分外露,其特征在于:承载体具有导热板(26),该导热板位于过渡部分(18)之间并与过渡部分相邻接。
2.如权利要求1所述的接点组件,其特征在于:所述承载体为平面长方形,其中,导热板(26)与过渡部分(18)齐平放置。
3.如权利要求2所述的接点组件,其特征在于:在所述承载体一侧,导热板(26)用至少一个与过渡部分(18)横向延伸的加强板(32)连接在一起。
4.如权利要求1所述的接点组件,其特征在于:承载体具有一个厚度比导热板厚度大的加强边缘(28)。
5.如权利要求4所述的接点组件,其特征在于:承载体具有一个厚度比导热板厚度大的支承板(22),借助环流通道(30),把加强边缘与支承板隔开。
