已知行李的壁是由布构成的,其优点是比用其他材料制成的行李在重量上更轻。某些行李制造商所用的布是通过经织和纬织聚酯和/或聚酰胺线而得到的。它们在经向和纬向上都有很高的强度,而且具有良好的抗表面磨损性。但是它们在斜纹路上的强度、抗剪切或撕裂性都不令人满意。在布由于偶然穿刺而撕裂时,特别是在连续的处理操作(车站、机场)过程中,或者仅在该行李内部的物品的压力下,该撕口可沿行李的整个长度延伸。

如图1和2所示,本发明的复合织物包括连接或固定在一起的外装饰布2、承载网格3和柔性内层4,所述柔性内层例如是由PVC制成的,并有防水衬里,所述承载网格放置在装饰布和柔性层之间。
外装饰布2的纹路或结构赋予其耐磨损性。例如,它是由280分特的聚酯线制成,其每厘米具有30×25根线(30根经线和25根纬线)。每单位面积的质量为180g/m2。增强优选用充纱罗织纹,这样即使是通过使用双向结构的经线、纬线技术在两个垂直方向上提供牵拉强度来制造,该布还是具有接近于网孔的外观。

纬线31和32比经线33和34更粗,因此只有纬线31和32在装饰布2中表现出来(图4)。
例如,经线33和34是140分特的聚酯,每厘米二根线,而芳酰胺纬线31和32可以比1100分特更粗,例如为1580或1670分特,每米为大于或等于60圈的捻度。纬线为双向的,夹角为约22度,在各方向上为0.5根线每厘米。经线与纬线的直径比为3-12之间。如果需要,平行的经线33和34可以忽略。芳酰胺线31、32具有高强度(大于200 centiNewtons/tex)和大的伸长模数(大于60 Gigapascals),而断裂伸长率小于4%。
承载网格的织纹如下选择:网格的网孔35具有大于外装饰布2之间隙23的孔面积,两个网孔的重叠是不可能的。
网格线31和32的直径至少比装饰布2的线21和22的直径大5倍。
如图1所示,承载网格3相对于装饰布2如下放置:至少网格之经线33和34和/或纬线31和32与装饰布2之经线和纬线21和22的取向不同,即相互是斜的。
如上所述的三向网格3还可在装饰布2的斜向上提供更好的稳定性。
