Abstract

Description
本发明涉及将各种物料特别是液体汽化进入大气的装置。更具体地说,本发明涉及一种改进的插头和加热块组件,供在将一种通过芯汲取的物料汽化的装置中使用。
背景技术
在过去,各种使用一个芯和一个加热装置的液体汽化器或是具有固定的电插销,如在美国专利US4,467,177中所公开的,或是具有电销钉,这些销钉相对于通过导线连接到一个固定的加热元件上的壳体旋转,如在美国专利US5,290,546和5,095,647中所公开的。使用旋转插销的原因在于,为了使芯适当地起作用,重要的是该芯基本上垂直于地面。但是,根据安装电插销的方法,插销的取向可以改变90°。
发明的公开内容
本发明针对一种蒸汽分散装置,该装置包括:(a)一个外壳;(b)一件电插头加热块,该加热块具有附接的电插销,该加热块被旋转式附接到外壳上,以便该块可围绕平行于插销的轴线转过一个预定的旋转范围;和(c)一个芯,它与被分散的物料成流体连通形式,并穿过该加热块延伸进入一个开口;其中该开口具有一个由一立体几何形状旋转所限定的形状,该立体几何形状通过一个内角横截该轴线,该内角至少等于加热块预定的旋转,并且其中该加热块在极接近开口处具有一个电加热元件。

用于实现本发明的方式
如图1所示,蒸汽分散装置包括一个外壳10,该外壳10具有蒸汽分散开口12。如在图1和10中所看到的,外壳10具有一个基本上圆形的开口14。开口14具有两个出口16和17,它们与凸缘42和44配合,以使插头加热块40能在外壳10中保持适当位置。当插头加热块40被插入开口14中时,该加热块40被可变形的薄片(未示出)或被任何其它的常用附加装置保持在适当位置,这使加热块40能在开口14内部分地旋转,正如后面将要说明的,一旦插进就不能被移开。在图1中还可以看到的是容器附加装置18,气流开口20,在附加装置18的另一侧上的一个第二相同开口(没有示出),和芯开口22。这些部件每个的功能对该技术的专业人员来说都是熟知的,因而此处不再重复。
容器30是一种对该技术的专业人员来说众所周知的常用瓶形或类似装置并用围板38密封,该围板38使芯36牢固地保持在适当位置。一般围板38不容易活动;并且一般和最好是与芯36相配合,以便芯36不容易从容器30中活动。在容器30内是一种液体32,该液体32是欲被汽化的物料。物料32可以是许多从这种类型蒸汽分散器中分散的常用物料中的任何一种,其中包括香料类、消毒剂类、卫生洗涤剂类、驱虫剂类、杀虫剂类等等。容器30具有一个容器颈34,该容器颈34以一种已知方式与容器附加装置18相配合,以便将容器30和芯36牢固地保持在适当位置。最好是,附加装置18将使该装置的使用者在液体32用光时能更换容器。合适的装置包括卡口连接,具有配合突出部分的凹切部分,和类似物。
象图11中所示的另一个可供选择的实施例那样,芯36可以封入一个护套70中。可以将颈34或用其它合适的附加方法附接到护套70上,以将芯36保持在设备中的适当位置。护套70在底端处封闭并起一个容器作用,用于由该设备分散的物料。
如在图1中并在图10中更清楚地所示,外壳10包括一个旋转导向制动器24,该制动器24位于外壳10的前壁中。制动器24与加热块40上的旋转导向突出部分50配合,以便当加热块40插入外壳10中时支承该块40的远端。
如图3中所示,当容器30被插入外壳10的底部时,芯36的顶部穿过芯开口22并进入块开口52。通常芯36的顶部将延伸到块开口52的顶部边缘54附近。如这里所述,这将使由加热元件所产生的热能接近芯36的顶部。这或者使由芯36向上汲取的液体32汽化,或者形成液体32的小气溶胶(small aerosol)微粒,通过蒸汽分散孔12进入大气。如这里所用的,术语“汽化”除了指形成实际的蒸汽外,预定还包括形成很小的气溶胶微粒,这些微粒可保持在空气中悬浮很长时间。
如图3a和3b中所示,块40可以绕平行于插销48并穿过旋转导向突出部分50的中心延伸的轴线49(见图1)旋转约90°,以使该单元能被插入一个常用的电气出口中,因此芯36接近垂直于地面。
外壳10可以用任何适合模压的材料制造。因为该单元包括一个加热元件,所以所选用的塑料在该单元的工作温度和工作条件下应当不变形。合适的材料包括热塑性的或热固性的聚合物如聚丙烯、聚酚硫醚或聚氯乙烯。
图4示出块40、外壳10和芯36的关系。开口52环绕芯36并非常接近芯36。加热元件60刚好位于开口52的表面下方,如图9中所示。当如附图所示的加热元件类型是一种电热丝时,则任何类型的常用加热元件都可以使用,只要该加热元件可以被包括在一个模压的元件内。其它的加热元件包括各种正温度系数的加热器和其它的类似常用元件。
块40通过形成一个预模压的单元61构成,如图9中所示,该单元61包括环绕开口152的加热元件60。加热元件60与插销48成电气连接,该插销48也包括在预模压的单元61中。然后将预模压的单元61用常规的技术重叠注塑,以形成如图5、6、7和8中的形状。开口152应当足够大,以便可以很容易模压开口52。将开口52模压成一种容纳芯36的形状,并使块40能旋转任何所希望的或预定的旋转度数。最好该旋转度数为约90度。开口52的形状由旋转一个三维几何形状如一个圆柱体、立方体,三维三角形和类似物经过一个内角来限定,该内角等于横截轴线49的预定旋转度数。虽然可以用任何形状,最好是具有圆形横截面的几何形状,因为这些形状使开口52能使块40和芯36之间的空隙最小。
块40可以用任何能电绝缘并在单元工作温度下耐变形的材料制成。根据应用的情况,预模压的单元61和块40可以用相同的或不同的材料制成。对大多数应用来说,块40和预模压的单元61将用相同的可模压的材料制成。合适的材料包括热塑性的或热固性的聚合物如聚丙烯、聚酚硫醚或聚氯乙烯。芯36可以用任何常规的芯材料制成。合适的芯材料包括多孔/烧结塑料如超高密度聚乙烯和聚丙烯;粘合纤维如聚酯和聚丙烯;烧结玻璃纤维;多孔陶瓷,碳纤维;烧结的碳;木材压缩的木材复合料,成束的或纺织的天然纤维如棉花、木材、亚麻,成束的或纺织的人造纤维如尼龙、聚丙烯、聚乙烯、聚酯、聚酰胺,人造丝、聚乙酸酯类等。由于开口52的间隙是这样,以致加热元件在芯的顶部附近不会包围整个芯,所以最好是使用具有一种不可渗透的护套的芯,这种护套如与本发明在同一天以John A.Schroeder和Armin L.C1obes名字公布的一项专利申请(美国专利US08/541,051)中所述。虽然对于某些欲分散的物料来说不需要使用这种带护套的芯,但这种包封的芯提供改善的性能。
工业应用
单件插入式加热块40的使用使这些类型的蒸汽分散单元的组件比如先有技术中公开的多部件组件更方便和更高的成本效率。此外,因为没有活动部件,所以对一个单元来说很少有可能由于一个部件破裂而变得不起作用或在使用时断开。另外,块70能使插头旋转而不移动芯36。
Claims (4)
1.一种蒸汽分散装置,该装置包括:(a)一个外壳;(b)一件电插头加热块,该加热块具有附接的电插销,该块旋转式附接到外壳上,以便该块可以绕平行于插销的轴线旋转一个预定的旋转范围;和(c)一个芯,它与欲被分散的物料成流体连通,并穿过该块延伸进入一个开口;其中该开口具有一种由旋转一个与轴线横截的立体几何形状经过一个内角而限定的形状,该内角至少等于块的预定的旋转,并且其中该块在非常接近开口处具有一个电加热元件。
2.按照权利要求1所述的装置,还包括一个附接到外壳上的容器,该容器装有欲被分散的物料。
3.按照权利要求1所述的装置,其中几何形状是一个圆柱形。
4.按照权利要求1所述的装置,其中旋转范围约为90°。
