Abstract

Description
本发明一般涉及一种用于无创测量动脉血氧饱和度的改进的血氧计。更具体讲,本发明涉及用于从由连接于血氧计的传感器设备产生的输入信号直接形成数字信号的方法。
在所有血氧计中,从直接与病人的带血组织如手指或耳垂连接的传感器设备接收输入信号。传感器设备一般包括一个红LED、一个红外LED、和一个或两个光电探测器。来自每个LED的光穿过组织,光电探测器检测穿过组织的光量。被测光对于每个带宽包括两个分量。AC分量代表被测的脉动血的量,DC分量代表非脉动血的量。因此,检查被测光的四个独立分量,以确定动脉血氧饱和度:红DC、红AC、红外DC和红外AC。被测光量被用来根据下式确定病人血液中的血氧饱和度:
(IR(AC)/IR(DC))/(Red(AC)/Red(DC))
在传统的血氧计中,传感器输出信号被转换为模拟电压,然后被分离为红外和红分量。有些血氧计还分离AC和DC分量。然后用分离的模拟电路对这些信号进行采样、信号分离和滤波。因此在这些系统中,必需仔细匹配模拟分量以把可能由两个电路的增益或频率响应的差别造成的误差最小。
本发明对该方法的改进在于,从至少两个最好三个不同波长的LED接收输入电流信号,并将这些输入信号直接转换为数字电压值,而不首先转换为模拟电压或分离信号。这是通过使用电荷数字化模拟数字转换器来实现的,该转换器具有足够的范围以表示大DC信号,和足够的分辨率以表现小AC信号。该电荷数字化转换器使用电流积分器作为前级,这有助于将输入噪声平均或滤掉。这是对于在传统血氧计中使用的、会放大噪声的从模拟电流到电压转换的改进。
一旦输入电流被转换为数字电压值,则所有输入信号被沿着相同的数字硬件路径,而不是沿着传统方法所需的分离的模拟硬件路径处理。该系统不需要匹配模拟硬件元,因此,进一步减小了潜在误差。而且,一旦信号被数字化,则微处理器能进行传统血氧计所要求的所有信号处理、信号分离、和滤波步骤。这种在模拟信号处理阶段的简化提高了血氧计的速度和精度,通过消除昂贵的模拟元件降低了成本,并通过消除大尺寸的模拟元件减小了血氧计的尺寸。
因此,本发明的一个目的是提供一种用于无创测量液体参数的改进的方法。
本发明的另一目的是提供一种测量动脉血饱和度的改进的方法。
本发明的再一目的提供在由血氧计进行的测量中的改进的速度和精度。
本发明的另一目的是提供输入电流信号的直接的模拟到数字转换,它具有足够的范围以测量大DC信号和足够的分辨率以表现小AC信号,从而可以进行精确测量而减少模拟信号处理。
本发明的另一目的是通过将输入电流信号直接转换为数字电压信号,从而绕过可能放大噪声的电流到电压转换步骤来提供潜在误差的减少。
本发明的再一个目的是通过沿一条数字硬件路径处理所有信号,从而消除对匹配的模拟硬件的需要来提供潜在误差的减少。
本发明的另一目的是提供一种电子电路元件数量减少的改进的血氧计。
本发明的再一目的是通过消除大尺寸的模拟元件,减小血氧计的尺寸。
本发明的另一目的是将来自不同波长的LED的至少两个信号直接转换为数字信号形式。
本发明的这些和其他目的和优点,及其操作的组织和方式将从以下结合附图的详细描述变得更明显。
图1表示与传感器设备连接的直接数字式血氧计的框图;
图2表示与病人连接的传感器设备和直接数字式血氧计。
图1表示根据本发明构造的直接数字式血氧计10,及外部传感器设备20的框图。直接数字式血氧计10包括一个电荷数字化模拟到数字转换器30、一个微处理器40、一个数字模拟转换器/LED驱动器50、和一个快闪EPROM60。为了达到足够的精度,电荷数字化模拟数字转换器30最好将输入模拟信号转换为至少20位的数字信号。
在一个优选实施例中(见图2)传感器20连接于带血组织样本,如病人的手指或耳垂。这里,所示传感器20虽然包括一个红LED70、一个红外LED80、和一个单独的光电探测器90,但是该传感器可以包括三个或更多的不同波长的LED和相关的多个光电探测器。LED70和80由来自微处理器40的数字信号驱动。这些数字信号通过数字模拟转换器/LED驱动器50转换为模拟电压。来自LED70和80的光穿过组织样本,并被光电探测器90检测,光电探测器90产生其幅值与每个带宽中检测的光量成比例的模拟电流信号。然后来自光电探测器90的电流信号被电荷数字化模拟数字转换器30以20位的分辨率数字化,并被送至微处理器40。通过微处理器40中的数字信号处理软件程序进行信号分离、环境干扰识别和消除、以及信号滤波。一旦信号被处理,则微处理器40计算下面的比率值

1.一种用于无创测量动脉血氧饱和度的血氧计,包括:
一个传感器,包括用于在至少两个波长产生光的至少第一和第二光发射装置;
至少一个光电探测器,用于在所述光穿过有脉动血供给的组织样本后,检测所述光,并用于产生代表所述光的每个波长的吸收的模拟电流信号;
一个模拟数字转换器,用于将所述模拟电流信号转换为数字电压信号;以及
一个处理单元,用于处理所述数字电压信号,以计算动脉血氧饱和度。
2.根据权利要求1的血氧计,其中所述传感器包括在三个波长产生光的LED。
4.根据权利要求1的血氧计,其中所述模拟数字转换器包括一个电荷数字化模拟数字转换器。
5.根据权利要求1的血氧计,其中所述模拟数字转换器具有足够的范围以测量大DC信号,和足够的分辨率以表现调制于DC信号上的小AC信号。
6.根据权利要求1的血氧计,其中所述模拟数字转换器在第一级包括一个电流积分器。
7.根据权利要求1的血氧计,其中所述处理单元包括一个执行软件程序的计算机。

11.一种用于无创测量动脉血氧饱和度的方法,包括以下步骤:
产生至少第一和第二波长的光;
将所述光照射于一个有脉动血液供给的组织样本;
在所述光穿过所述组织样本后,检测所述光,并产生一个表示所述光的每个波长的吸收率的模拟电流信号;
然后将所述电流信号转换为数字电压信号;以及
然后处理数字电压信号,以计算动脉血氧饱和度。
19.如权利要求11所述的方法,还包括利用存储的查找表计算血氧饱和度的步骤。
20.如权利要求11所述的方法,还包括在快闪EPROM中存储查找表,并利用该表计算血氧饱和度的步骤。
21.如权利要求11所述的方法,还包括从输入的数字电压信号中识别并滤掉环境噪声的步骤。
22.如权利要求11所述的方法,还包括在将所述电流信号转换为所述输入的数字电压之前,对电流信号进行数学积分的步骤。
23.如权利要求11所述的方法,还包括对数字电压信号进行信号分离,以提供代表第一波长的被测光的第一值和代表第二波长的被测光的第二值的步骤。
24.如权利要求23所述的方法,还包括对第一和第二值进行数字滤波的步骤。
Claims (20)
1.一种用于无创测量动脉血氧饱和度的血氧计,包括:
用于产生至少两个波长的光的装置;
用于将所述光照射于包含脉动血供给的组织样本的装置;
用于在所述光穿过所述组织样本后,检测所述光,并用于产生代表所述光的每个波长的吸收的电流信号的装置;
用于将所述电流信号直接转换为数字电压信号的装置;
用于处理所述数字电压信号的装置;以及用于确定动脉血氧饱和度的装置。
2.根据权利要求1的血氧计,其中所述用于产生光的装置包括在三个频率范围产生光的LED。
3.根据权利要求1的血氧计,其中所述用于检测所述光的装置包括至少一个在两个波长检测光,并根据每个被测光量产生一个电流信号的光电探测器。
4.根据权利要求1的血氧计,其中所述将所述电流信号直接转换为数字电压信号的装置包括一个电荷数字化模拟数字转换器。
5.根据权利要求1的血氧计,其中所述将所述电流信号直接转换为数字电压信号的装置包括一个电荷数字化模拟数字转换器,其具有足够的范围以测量大DC信号和足够的分辨率以表现调制于DC上的小AC信号。

11.一种无创测量动脉血氧饱和度的方法,包括以下步骤:
提供用于产生至少两个波长的光的装置;
提供用于将所述光照射于包含脉动血供给的组织样本装置;
提供用于在所述光穿过所述组织样本后,检测所述光,并用于产生代表所述光的每个波长的吸收的电流信号的装置;
提供用于将所述电流信号直接转换为数字电压信号的装置;
提供用于处理所述数字电压信号的装置;以及提供用于确定动脉血氧饱和度的装置。
12.根据权利要求11所述的方法,其中所述用于产生光的装置包括在三个频率范围产生光的LED。
13.根据权利要求11所述的方法,其中所述用于检测所述光的装置包括一个或多个在所述至少两个波长检测光,并根据每个被测光量产生一个电流信号的光电探测器。
14.根据权利要求11所述的方法,其中所述将所述电流信号直接转换为数字电压信号的装置包括一个电荷数字化模拟数字转换器。
