Abstract

本发明提供了防止铅由含铅铜合金制的水阀栓配件等中溶出的防止含铅铜合金铅溶出的处理方法,及防止了铅溶出的含铅铜合金制的水道用器具。而且,通过在含铅铜合金材的表面形成铬酸盐被膜,可以减低表面少量残留的铅的溶出。另外,在镀镍铬工序的前处理工序中,将含铅铜合金制的水道用器具在碱系浸蚀液中浸渍,选择性地除去含铅铜合金材表面的铅,然后在硫酸、盐酸等液体中活性化。再进行镀镍,然后在装饰性镀铬电解液中或氟化铬镀液中进行镀铬,也可在铬酸盐液中浸渍形成铬酸盐被膜。

Description

减低含铅铜合金铅溶出的处理方法及含铅铜合金制水道用器具
技术领域
本发明涉及为减低铅由含铅铜合金中溶出的减低铅溶出的处理方法,及减低了铅溶出的含铅铜合金制的水道用器具。
水道用器具包括在开水器、温水器、冷水器、制冰器、净水器、温水锅炉、自动售货机、浮球塞、低位槽、阀(阀栓配件)、接头、管、洗涤盆、洗面盆、便器、浴缸、住宅设备装置等中,与给水管连接的器具。
背景技术
历来,阀栓配件一般是采用将青铜、黄铜等铜合金进行铸造或锻造、再用切削加工、研磨加工等方法调整形状,再镀镍铬等制造的。在制造过程中切削加工时,为提高铜合金的切削性,在铜合金中添加铅。
图4是添加铅的铜合金的组织的模式图,向铜合金1添加铅时,铅、氧化铅、氢氧化铅集中在接近表面处,而内部是作为铅单质2存在着,表面附近铅2的浓度比内部铅的浓度高数倍。例如,在添加铅的青铜铸造物制的水阀栓配件中,铅以约500ppb溶出,铅由含铅铜合金制造的水道用器具的通水路表面溶出到水中,长期饮用这种水时,会对人体带来不好的影响。
但是,不添加铅的铜合金材切削加工性差,而代替铜合金材的开发也没有多大的进展。
发明的公开
因此,本发明提供为了防止铅从含铅铜合金制水阀栓配件等溶出的含铅铜合金的防止铅溶出的处理方法,及防止铅溶出的含铅铜合金制水道用器具。
而且,也可在含铅铜合金材的表面形成铬酸盐被膜。由于该被膜的形成,可以减低表面少量残留的铅的溶出。另外,在镀镍铬工序的前处理工序中,将含铅铜合金制的水道用器具在碱系浸蚀液中浸渍,选择性地除去含铅铜合金材表面的铅,然后在硫酸、盐酸等液体中活性化。再进行镀镍,然后在装饰性镀铬电解液中或氟化铬镀液中进行镀铬,也可在铬酸盐液中浸渍形成铬酸盐被膜。
这样可以同时一面在水道用器具外面进行镀镍铬,一面在内面即通水路表面除去铅。

实施本发明的最佳方式
本发明着眼于两性金属铅的性质,将含铅铜合金在碱系浸蚀液中浸渍,选择性地将含铅铜合金材表面的铅溶解除去。此外,在铬酸液中浸渍,将含铅铜合金材表面的铅溶解除去。也可将含铅铜合金在碱系浸蚀液中浸渍,接着在铬酸液中浸渍,将含铅铜合金材表面的铅溶解除去。而且,在碱系浸蚀液中单独或多种添加氧化剂、螯合剂及表面活性剂时,另外在铬酸液中添加氟化物时,能够更有效地除去铅。
而且,也可在含铅铜合金材的表面形成铬酸盐被膜。由于该被膜的形成,可以减低表面少量残留的铅的溶出。另外,在镀镍铬工序的前处理工序中,将含铅铜合金制的水道用器具在碱系浸蚀液中浸渍,选择性地除去含铅铜合金材表面的铅,然后在硫酸、盐酸等液体中活性化。再进行镀镍,然后在装饰性镀铬电解液中或氟化铬镀液中进行镀铬,也可在铬酸盐液中浸渍形成铬酸盐被膜。

本发明中使用的碱系浸蚀液的主成分,是将氢氧化钠、氢氧化钾、碳酸钠、磷酸钠、三聚磷酸钠、硅酸钠、原硅酸钠等当中的单独或数种溶解得到的碱溶液。浓度一般为数g/l~数10g/l,按照使用成分的组合适宜判断。由于温度高时铅溶出的效果增加,所以希望温度为60~90℃的程度。浸渍时间希望为数分钟~数10分钟。如图1所示,铜金属几乎不溶解,而两性金属铅能够选择溶解。
为了改善碱系浸蚀液的浸透·湿润性,以使液体表面张力减低为目的添加表面活性剂。作为表面活性剂多使用阴离子型表面活性剂或非离子型表面活性剂,将其单独或并用。作为阴离子型表面活性剂有高级脂肪酸钠、硫酸化油、高级醇硫酸酯钠、烷基苯硫酸钠、高级烷基醚硫酸酯钠、α-烯烃硫酸钠。另外,作为非离子型表面活性剂有烷基聚氧乙烯醚、烷基苯基聚氧乙烯醚、脂肪酸环氧乙烷加成物、聚丙二醇环氧乙烷加成物(プルロニシク[普路罗尼克-非离子型表面活性剂的商品名])。添加量一般为数g/l~数10g/l。
此外,为了既能防止铅呈氢氧化物再附着,同时促进铅的溶解,可以添加螯合剂。作为螯合剂,希望是易于和铅形成配位化合物的化合物,例如EDTA、乙二胺、三乙醇胺、硫脲、罗谢尔盐、酒石酸等。浓度各成分都希望为数g/l~数10g/l。
在碱浸蚀液中添加氧化剂时,铅被氧化,经过氧化铅(PbO等)溶解在碱中(图1的反应式(2))。由于该反应(2)比反应(1)快,其结果促进铅的溶解。作为氧化剂,例如使用间硝基苯磺酸钠、对硝基苯甲酸钠等有机氧化性化合物、次氯酸盐、漂白粉、过氧化氢、高锰酸钾、过硫酸盐、过氯酸盐等无机化合物。浓度各成分都希望为数g/l~数10g/l。
铬酸浸渍中用的浴液,是对一般公知的可使用装饰性镀铬电解液的氟化铬镀液,将由铬酸酐及硫酸构成的装饰性镀铬电解液中的硫酸的一部或全部用氟化物置换得到的。
因为铬酸的液体是强氧化性的,所以一面铜合金材料全体溶解,一面铅也溶解。但是在不存在氟化物时,有作为铬酸铅沉淀物残存的可能性(图2的反应式(3)),但氟化物完成了使其溶解的作用。(图2的反应式(4)),温度希望为40~60℃,浸渍时间希望为数10秒~数分。
作为氟化物,如氟化钠、氟化钾、氟化氨、氟酸、硼氟酸、硅氟酸·硅氟化钠·硅氟化钾、硼氟化铬等氟化合物差不多全部可以使用。
铬酸盐处理中使用的添加剂取铬酸酐、磷酸、硫酸作为基体,但按情况添加或置换硝酸、氟酸、乙酸、草酸、铬酸盐等。也可使用市售的镀锌等的铬酸盐剂。浓度各成分都希望为数g/l~数10g/l。处理温度、处理时间分别希望为常温~60℃,数秒~数分。
(1)关于碱浸蚀液
将碱浸蚀液的铅溶出效果,以及在碱浸蚀液中添加氧化剂及螯合剂时的铅溶出效果示于表1。
处理方法为:将青铜铸造物的阀栓配件在表1所示的各种浸蚀液中于80℃浸渍3分钟,然后水洗30秒钟,含氟量约1g/l的市售氟化铬。
然后按照JIS S3200-7(1997年)“水道用器具-浸出性能试验方法”,对处理过的阀栓配件分析溶出的铅浓度。图1是用碱浸蚀溶出铅的状态的模式图,按照图1所示的反应式,含铅铜合金1表面的铅2被选择性除去。
由表2的结果可知,相对于未经浸蚀的未处理试样有500ppb的铅溶出量,按本发明处理过的铅溶出量大幅度减少,特别是通过添加氧化剂和螯合剂,铅溶出量更加减少。此外可看出,通过在氟化铬镀液中浸渍,铅溶出量更为减少。
(2)关于铬酸液
接着,将青铜铸造物的阀栓配件在碱浸蚀液(氢氧化钠50g/l、间硝基苯磺酸钠2g/l、EDTA2g/l、乙二胺2g/l)中于80℃浸渍3分钟,然后水洗30秒钟,再在表2所示的铬镀液中于45℃浸渍3分钟,水洗30秒钟,再于60℃热水洗30秒钟。然后按照JIS S3200-7(1997年)分析铅的溶出浓度。其结果如表2所示。
由表2可知,若在铬镀液中浸渍,铅溶出量大幅度减少,而氟化铬液比过去的装饰性镀铬电解液更有效果。不存在氟化物的装饰性镀铬电解液,被认为因作为铬酸铅残存沉淀物,使铅浓度有若干升高。据认为是(图2的反应式(3)),氟化物将其溶解,因此氟化铬液的情况比装饰性镀铬电解液更有效果。(图2的反应式(4))另外,可以明白的是,即使单独用铬酸浸渍,也有铅溶出效果。
(3)关于铬酸盐处理
将青铜铸造物的阀栓配件在碱浸蚀液(氢氧化钠50g/l、间硝基苯磺酸钠2g/l、EDTA2g/l、乙二胺2g/l)中,于80℃浸渍3分钟,然后水洗30秒钟,再在氟化铬镀液(上述的含氟量约1g/l的市售液)中,于45℃浸渍3分钟,水洗30秒钟,接着,于表3所示组成的铬酸盐液中,于30℃进行20秒钟的铬酸盐液处理,水洗30秒钟,再于60℃热水洗30秒钟。
接着,按照JIS S3200-7(1997年)分析铅溶出浓度。将其结果示于表3。
如表3所示,与不进行铬酸盐处理的场合相比,经铬酸液处理的铅溶出量减少,特别是由于铬酸酐和磷酸的协同效果,大大抑制了铅的溶出。按照图3的显示铬酸盐处理状态模式图的反应式,由于铬酸盐处理,形成了铬酸盐皮膜,抑制了铅的溶出。另外可以明白的是,即使单独用铬酸盐进行处理,也有铅溶出的效果。
工业实用性
本发明将含铅铜合金制水道用器具表面的铅在碱系的浸蚀液或铬酸液中浸渍除去,藉此能够减低水道用器具使用中铅的溶出。
此外,通过在含铅铜合金制水道用器具表面施加铬酸盐被膜,能够减低铅由内部溶出。
而且,将碱系浸蚀液作为镀前处理剂使用时,能够提高材料表面污渍、油的去除力,而且提高镀层外观、密着性。
另外,通过将含铅铜合金制水道用器具在碱性液中浸渍除去表面的铅后,再在铬酸液中浸渍除去表面的铅,接着在铬酸盐液中浸渍使得在表面形成铬酸盐皮膜,能够大幅度减低铅溶出。

Claims (18)

1.减低含铅铜合金铅溶出的处理方法,其特征在于,将含铅铜合金在碱系浸蚀液中浸渍,除去表面的铅。
2.权利要求1所述的减低含铅铜合金铅溶出的处理方法,其特征在于,在碱系浸蚀液中单独地或两种同时地添加氧化剂或螯合剂。
3.减低含铅铜合金铅溶出的处理方法,其特征在于,将含铅铜合金在铬酸液中浸渍,除去表面的铅。
4.权利要求3所述的减低含铅铜合金铅溶出的处理方法,其特征在于,铬酸液中含氟化物。
5.减低含铅铜合金铅溶出的处理方法,其特征在于,将含铅铜合金在铬酸盐液中浸渍,在表面形成铬酸盐皮膜。
6.权利要求5所述的减低含铅铜合金铅溶出的处理方法,其特征在于,铬酸盐液中含磷酸。
7.减低含铅铜合金铅溶出的处理方法,其特征在于,将含铅铜合金在碱性浸蚀液中浸渍,除去表面的铅,接着在铬酸液中浸渍,除去表面的铅。
8.减低含铅铜合金铅溶出的处理方法,其特征在于,将含铅铜合金在碱性浸蚀液中浸渍,除去表面的铅,接着在铬酸盐液中浸渍,在表面形成铬酸盐皮膜。
