Abstract

Description
发明领域
本发明一般涉及容器制造领域,特别涉及如PET瓶这样的吹胀成型塑料瓶,这些瓶子目前通常用来包装软饮料,如苏打水。更具体地讲,本发明涉及一种改进型带脚容器及底部,其能表现出重量轻、稳定性好及抗应力开裂的优良特性。
相关技术的描述
在过去大约25年时间中,从玻璃容器转变成塑料容器,碳酸饮料,尤其是软饮料的包装发生了巨大改变。塑料容器最初采用两体式结构,其中,具有一大体半球状底部的塑料瓶安放在让该塑料瓶直立的单独底杯上。已知该半球形底部具有用于保持由容器内部中碳化作用而产生的压力的最理想形状。当瓶装饮料放在太阳下、存放在温暖的房间、车厢等中时,这种容器中的压力会上升至100p.s.i或更高。
当受到同样内部压力作用时,这种塑料瓶比玻璃容器具有显著的安全优点。但是,因为需要一个出模后的装配步骤,在对形成该瓶子和底杯的树脂进行回收或再利用之前还需要一个分离步骤,因此这两体式结构并不经济。
在该技术的发展过程中,曾做过各种尝试以构造出一种一体自立式容器,该容器能够在所包含的压力下保持碳酸饮料。这种一体式容器需要设计这样一种底部结构,该底部结构可以在直立位置支承该瓶子并且不会在底部处向外鼓起。最初尝试了多种设计方案,这些设计方案大多遵循两条设计思想主线中的一条。一条设计主线涉及一种所谓的香槟酒底部,其具有一个完全环状外环。在美国专利US.3,722,726;3,881,621;4,108,324;4,247,012和4,249,666中公开了这种瓶子的例子。其它的多种设计方案为设有从一弧形底部向下伸出多个脚。在专利US.3,598,270;4,294,366;4,368,825;4,865,206以及4,867,323中公开了这种设计的例子。近年来,在市场上后面这种设计占主流。
带脚一体式瓶子仍存在某些问题,而这些问题尚未解决到使包装业和其用户满意。例如,底部带脚区域中聚合物的不均匀取向会导致底部一个或多个脚或中间部分在填充后产生不均匀膨胀,从而形成通常所称的“摇摆器”。另外,这些脚自身的存在以及迫使取向材料形成脚的形状的需要会在容器底部形成对容器形状产生不利影响的应力点。在模塑期间使聚合物的应力和杂乱取向降至最小的容器底部设计被认为是较理想的。
另一个在一体式容器的容器底部的设计中需要考虑的是底部应力开裂的可能性。应力开裂的数量与底部的几何形状有关。在底部中较大的半径曲线与具有较小半径曲线的底部相比会减小应力开裂的可能性。
在这种容器设计中另一个重要因素在于在容器装满及加压之后的位置稳定性。从灌瓶者和用户的立场上来看,对于已装满的容器而言最好要尽可能地不倾翻。已装满容器的稳定性与其“外侧站立环”的半径,即脚的底部接触面与从容器中心轴线伸出的距离密切相关。
在带脚容器底部设计中必须考虑的另一个因素是材料在该产品中的有效分布,因此产品要尽可能“重量轻”,并符合容器所必要的强度、体积和稳定性要求。因为直接影响材料成本,所以重量轻对于容器的制造商而言尤为重要。
对于聚合物一体容器来说,需要一种改进型底部设计,其优化了与强度有关的材料的使用,降低了应力开裂的可能性,允许以聚合物材料最小的应力和杂乱取向进行模塑,并且能表现出优良的抗倾翻性能。
本发明的概述
因此,本发明的目的在于为聚合物一体容器提供一种底部设计,其优化了与强度相关的材料的使用,降低了应力开裂的可能性,能够以聚合物材料的最小应力和杂乱取向进行模塑,且能表现出优良的抗倾翻性能。
为了实现本发明的上述和其它目的,根据本发明一个方面的模塑聚合物容器成型为具有重量轻、抗倾翻稳定性及耐应力开裂的优良特性。它包括一具有纵向轴线和一周边侧壁的普通圆筒形主体和一新型底部。底部包括一中央凸形区域,其在绕纵向轴线的空间转动范围内具有大致均匀的均匀性。均匀性区域半径为RG。底部还包括多个围绕凸形区域并从凸形区域向下突出的支承脚。每一支承脚具有一底部支承表面,该底部支承表面带有内部接触点和外部接触点。外部接触点一起限定了外部接触半径Roc。底部就整体来看具有最大宽度的半径RBASE。在支承脚之间的凹陷处中设有多个肋。每个肋均位于两个支承脚之间并有助于界定两个支承脚。至少一个肋具有一个定域曲率半径Rc,其与一连接相邻两个支承脚的内部接触点的线相交。均匀性半径最好大约为Roc的16%-26%;Rc大约为RBASE的70%-110%。

最佳实施例的详细说明
现在参照附图,其中相同的参考标号在所有图中表示相应结构,特别参见图1,被成型加工成具有重量轻、抗倾翻稳定性和抗应力开裂的优良特性的模制聚合物容器10包括一个具有一纵向轴线13的普通圆筒形主体12,如图2所示。同常规容器一样,容器10包括带螺纹的颈口部分14,使主体12和颈口部分14连接在一起的锥形颈部15,以及新型且有利的底部16。
在该最佳实施例中,底部16包括一个中央凸形区域22,该区域在绕纵向轴线13的空间转动范围内具有大致均匀的均匀性。如图4中所示,均匀性区域半径为RG。本发明的一个原理在于使该区域22的相对尺寸达到最大,其具有减轻容器10重量的效果。底部16还包括多个围绕凸形区域并从该凸形区域向下突出的支承脚18。每个支承脚18具有一个底部支承表面24,所述底部支承表面24具有内部接触点16和外部接触点28。外部接触点28一起确定了一外部接触半径ROC,其也被称为底部的外侧站立环。该底部16在整体上具有最大宽度半径RBASE。外侧站立环越大,该容器抗倾倒的稳定性越高。在最佳实施例中,外侧站立半径ROC大约为RBASE的72%到75%。
在支承脚18之间的凹陷处设有多个肋20。每一肋20位于支承脚18之间且有助于限定两个支承脚18。肋20最好沿它们的长度方向、从凸形区域22附近向逐渐变细至容器侧壁12处改变曲率半径。至少一个肋20在其与一条弧相交处具有一定域曲率半径RC,所述弧通过与轴线13距离相等的点连接了两个相邻支承脚18的内部接触点26。有利的是,所述均匀性区域的半径大约为ROC的16%至26%;并且RC大约为RBASE的70%到110%。更理想的是,所述均匀性区域的半径大约为ROC的18%到24%;并且RC大约为RBASE的85%到100%。同样在本发明的范围内,均匀性区域半径RG与ROC的比值范围下限值为16-20,上限值为22-26。另外,在本发明的范围内,RC与RBASE之比在70%到130%的任意组合的范围内。
在图4中可以进一步地看出,定域曲率半径RC限定了一个相对于纵向轴线13的角度αIC。肋20在其与均匀性区域22的外部边缘相交之处具有一个第二定域曲率半径RCG。在图4中可以看出,曲率半径RCG限定了一个相对于轴线13的角度αG。
有利的是,在图4中可视的并被定义为αIC减αG的角度大约为16°到30°,或更理想的是,大约为18°到22°。下限值在16°和18°之间且上端值在18°到22°的范围也在本发明的范围内。
现在参照图4和5,可以得知底部16还有一尺寸hOC,该尺寸被定义为肋在由外部接触半径ROC限定的圆周正上方的高度。在制造过程中,该尺寸hOC与容器底部的最佳环向伸张控制极为相关,因此它可以尽可能地与容器的主直径部分的伸张相匹配。如在图5中可以看到的那样,该图是沿着图4中线5-5所示的剖面图,脚的侧壁在半径ROC的垂直投影与肋20相交之处相对于肋20的固定半径的轴线形成了角度

Claims (13)
1.一种模塑聚合物容器,其被成型加工成具有重量轻、抗倾翻稳定性和抗应力开裂的优良特性,其包括:
一个大致圆筒形主体,其具有纵向轴线和周边侧壁;及
一个底部,其包括:
一个中央均匀性凸形区域,其在绕纵向轴线的空间转动范围内具有大致的均匀性,所述均匀性区域半径为RG;
多个围绕凸形区域并从该凸形区域向下突出的支承脚,每个支承脚均具有一个底部支承表面,所述底部支承表面带有内部接触点和外部接触点,所述外部接触点一起限定了外部接触半径ROC;所述底部还具有最大宽度的半径RBASE,
多条设在在所述支承脚之间的所述凹陷处的肋,每一条肋均位于两个支承脚之间并有助于限定两个支承脚,所述至少一条肋具有一定域曲率半径RC,其与一连接相邻两个支承脚的内部接触点的圆弧相交;且其中
