Abstract

Description

根据要求提供音频翻译数据的接收机和接收方法
本发明涉及根据要求提供音频翻译数据的方法和接收机。
由于陆地TV、卫星TV和包括数字TV传输的网络TV技术的发展,用户可以接收到的电视(TV)频道数量越来越多。此外,如磁带、CD和DV等视频介质为家庭提供越来越多的节目和电影。
上述发展也导致共用外国节目和电影的问题。随着国家和区域的增加,存在多语言的要求:在一个国家或地区使用一种以上的语言,或在家庭娱乐中,非本地居民偏爱他们自己国家的语言。因此,存在逐渐发展的需要,即具有音频数据或字幕对白的广播节目或电影对应不同消费者偏爱的语言翻译。
本发明所要解决的问题是根据要求提供音频或字幕对白翻译数据。这个问题由权利要求1中公开的方法所解决。使用这个方法的接收机公开在权利要求9中。
根据要求将与音频或字幕对白的翻译对应的数据提供给接收机的方法公开在权利要求11中。
本发明的一个方面是一种方法,用于把根据要求的音频或字幕对白的翻译数据提供给接收机,所述方法包括如下步骤:
-接收视频数据;
-接收与所述视频数据对应的第一识别信息;
-检测用户偏爱语言的选择;
-提供与偏爱语言对应的第二识别信息;
-通过互联网把从第一和第二识别信息得出的第三识别信息发送到
 服务器,用于根据所述第三识别信息,请求对应所述视频数据要
 求的音频或字幕对白翻译数据组;
-通过互联网接收选择的音频或字幕对白翻译数据组;
-至少部分地与所述视频数据同步地临时再现所要求音频或字幕对
  白翻译数据的数据。
按照本发明的另一方面,本发明涉及一种接收机,用于根据要求提供音频或字幕对白翻译数据,所述接收机包括:
-接收视频数据和与所述视频数据对应的第一识别信息的装置;
-检测用户偏爱语言选择的装置;
-提供与偏爱语言对应的第二识别信息的装置;
-装置,通过互联网把从第一和第二识别信息得出的第三识别信息发送到服务器,根据所述的第三识别信息,用于请求对应所述视频数据要求的音频或字幕对白翻译数据组;
-通过互联网接收选择的音频或字幕对白翻译数据组的装置;
-至少部分地与所述视频数据同步地临时再现所要求音频或字幕对白翻译数据的数据的装置。
按照本发明的另一方面,本发明涉及到根据要求提供音频或字幕对白翻译数据的方法,包括步骤:
-通过互联网接收用户请求的识别信息,其中,所述的识别信息对应偏爱语言和对应在不同于偏爱语言的语言中由音频或字幕对白数据原来伴随的视频数据;
-根据接收的识别信息,选择音频或字幕对白翻译数据组,其中,选择的音频或字幕对白翻译数据族代表了对应偏爱语言的原来语言音频或字幕对白数据的语言翻译;
-通过互联网把选择的音频或字幕对白翻译数据组发送到所述用户的接收机。
本发明的基本思想是,可以在计算机档案库中,最好是在线档案库中获得不同的音频翻译数据组。可由电视机的用户或视频系统指定不同的音频翻译数据组。这使得用户可以观看她偏爱语言的带有音频信号的电影或电影广播。例如,住在国外旅馆的访问者可以观看提供具有对应她自己国家语言的音频信号的电影。
本发明也使用户能够以某种外国语言或某种外国语言的字幕对白观看电影、科学节目等,以便训练用户这种外国语言。
下面参考附图描述本发明的实施例。

参考图1,本发明的系统包括电视机和/或视频装置1,用于广播电影或节目,接口2和其上被指定几个翻译器号码4的服务器3。服务器可以是任何操纵存储翻译数据档案的数据库的计算机。服务器可以安放在提供电影的播放站或专门提供翻译数据的公司。
服务器可以与翻译器演播室5连接。用户可以通过遥控器6或语音控制电视机或视频装置1和/或接口2。接口2可以装在装置1中,装置1可以是机顶盒或TV接收机或视频记录器。
如果装置1的用户喜欢观看含有偏爱语言音频信号的任何语言的电影广播,可在装置1的显示器14上提供语言菜单。借助语言菜单,几种语言选项的列表呈献给装置1的用户,每种语言选项代表不同语言的音频翻译数据和/或不同的翻译器。,用户可从语言菜单选择用户与偏爱语言的对应语言选项。可由遥控器6进行语言的选择,遥控指令由包含在装置1中的IR接收机12接收。
也可以通过语音指令选择偏爱语言,语音指令由麦克风检测。麦克风可以集成在遥控器中或装置1的外壳内。
此外,不仅能够选择一种偏爱语言,而且能够选择最偏爱语言和第二最偏爱语言。为了清楚表述,给出下面的例子。例如,如果一个德国用户住在中国,她不熟悉中国语言,但她熟悉英语,她可以选择德语作为最偏爱语言,英语作为第二偏爱语言。以这种方式,如果有德语翻译数据,德国用户就可以使用德语。如果没有,她将接收英语翻译数据。只是在既没有德语也没有英语翻译数据可用的情况下,她才必须观看原配音语言的电影。
用户的语言选项在装置13中进行计算,用于提供与偏爱语言的识别信息和用户打算观看电影对应的视频数据。使用控制装置11把识别信息传输到装置1的输出端,该输出端可以连接到互联网或任何向用户装置提供数据的其它来源。识别信息可以包括电影的名称或从VPS资料、图文电视数据、MPEG7数据或EPG(电子节目导视)提取的其它识别代码。
识别信息被发送到服务器3,该识别信息最好通过像ISDN连接或任何其它互联网或有线连接的在线连接的接口2发送。在处理识别信息之后,服务器3将通过后信道或互联网或有线把音频翻译数据供给到接口2。音频翻译数据可以通过MP3或MPEG4标准压缩。装置1将使自播放站7接收的视频数据与自服务器3接收的音频翻译数据同步,以便用户可以观看与她所偏爱语言对应的带有视频信号和/或字幕对白的电影。
另外,服务器可以只发回关于选择电影名称的音频信号和/或字幕对白的语言可用性的信息。这个信息伴随着下载翻译数据的费用信息。可将与适宜的语言有关的信息按秒显示于屏幕显示上,并尽可能与费用一起显示。然后,用户可以决定是否下载翻译数据。
控制装置11通过视频数据以及音频翻译数据中所提供的时间戳控制视频数据和音频翻译数据的同步。如果按照MPEG-4编码视频数据,在某个间隔插入视频数据流的再同步标识代码可以用于同步。如果音频数据也由MPEG-4编码,由于目标定向传输,不是整个视频数据而只是将被翻译的语音被发送。这允许很低的传输位率。
向装置1提供的音频翻译数据至少可以部分地立刻存储在硬盘上或其它存储装置上。
在提供识别信息的装置13或在控制装置11中,可以永久地存储或在预定周期内存储用户的语言选择或多种选择,以至只要用户想观看电影,总会有或在预定周期内有与存储的偏爱语言选择对应的音频翻译数据被自动地发送到装置1,而不必在显示器14上显示语言菜单。例如,在国外旅馆停留期间,如果存储了访问者选择的各种语言,访问者将有机会在旅馆观看与她国家语言对应的音频翻译数据的电影。
根据要求提供翻译数据的服务可以免费或收费,其中,可由接口2或控制装置11控制用户的付款。
参考图2,在服务器3中,按翻译器号码10、11、12排列音频翻译数据,如图2所示,每个号码分别涉及到翻译器A、B、C。翻译器A可用于德语(图2中的号码10)、英语、法语(图2中的号码13)和/或任何其它语言的不同号码。在服务器3中,可以有一组以上的音频翻译数据可用,例如,每一组代表德语翻译,用于特殊的电影并由不同的翻译器翻译,以便给用户一个机会从偏爱的翻译器为特殊电影选出德语音频翻译数据。
翻译器可以在翻译器演播室5中产生音频翻译数据,翻译器演播室5向翻译器提供了用户网站接口、技术支持和翻译指导。可在翻译器演播室5和服务器4之间建立在线连接,以发送音频翻译数据。翻译器可以设置新翻译器号码,向号码4增加新音频翻译数据,或从号码4删除前面的版本。音频翻译数据可以存储为文本数据和/或语音数据。此外,翻译器演播室5可以向翻译器提供在线付款。
可以向不同单元指定所需的功能:例如,可以在接口2中完成提供识别信息,因此,可以省略装置13,可将IR接收机12直接连接到控制装置11。
上述音频或字幕对白翻译数据可以是包括一个节目或一个电影的完整声轨/字幕对白声轨的数据组。
连同纪录一个程序或使用编程的电影,特别是VPS或Shou View编程,其优点是事先自动下载和立刻存储音频或字幕对白翻译数据组,或在演播期间或完成有关视频数据和可能的原来音频/字幕对白数据的纪录之后,下载和纪录音频或字幕对白翻译数据组。

Claims (11)

1.一种把根据要求的音频或字幕对白的翻译数据提供给接收机(1)的方法,所述方法包括如下步骤:
-接收(11)视频数据;
-接收与所述视频数据对应的第一识别信息;
-检测(6、12)用户偏爱语言的选择;
-提供(13、2)与偏爱语言对应的第二识别信息;
-通过互联网把从第一和第二识别信息得出的第三识别信息发送到服务器(3),用于根据所述的第三识别信息,请求对应所述视频数据要求的音频或字幕对白翻译数据组;
-通过互联网接收(11)选择的音频或字幕对白翻译数据组;
-至少部分地与所述视频数据同步地临时再现(15)所要求音频或字幕对白翻译数据的数据。
2.按权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,还包括步骤:显示(14)语言菜单,从所述语言菜单检测(6、12)用户偏爱语言的选择。
3.按权利要求1或2所述的方法,其特征在于,从几个可用服务器存储的音频或字幕对白翻译数据组选择一个数据组,其中,每一个音频或字幕对白翻译数据组包括有关所述视频数据的原配音语言音频或字幕对白数据的语言翻译,其中,对应所述的偏爱语言,选择的音频或字幕对白翻译数据组代表所述原配音语言音频或字幕对白数据的语言翻译。
4.按权利要求1到3任一项所述的方法,其特征在于,在接收视频数据之前,检测用户进行的选择,并存储与偏爱语言对应的第二识别信息。
5.按权利要求4所述的方法,其特征在于,使用VPS或Shou View编程纪录视频数据,其中,事先自动下载并立刻存储音频或字幕对白翻译数据组,或在完成有关视频数据和尽可能的原来音频或字幕对白的纪录之后,下载音频或字幕对白翻译数据组。
6.按权利要求1到5任一项所述的方法,其特征在于,使用时间戳使所述视频数据与请求的或选择的音频或字幕对白翻译数据组同步。
7.按权利要求6所述的方法,其特征在于,所述数据用MPEG-4编码,使用再同步标识码同步。
8.按权利要求1到7任一项所述的方法,其特征在于,从对应的图文电视或MPEG7信息中自动地提供所述第一识别信息。
9.一种根据要求提供音频或字幕对白翻译数据的接收机,所述接收
机包括:
-接收视频数据和对应所述视频数据的第一识别信息的装置(14);
-检测用户偏爱语言的选择的装置(6、12),;
-提供与偏爱语言对应的第二识别信息的装置(13、2);
-装置(11),通过互联网把从第一和第二识别信息得出的第三识别信息发送到服务器,根据所述的第三识别信息,用于请求对应所述视频数据要求的音频或字幕对白翻译数据组;
-通过互联网接收选择的音频或字幕对白翻译数据组的装置(11);
-装置(15),至少部分地与所述视频数据同步地临时再现所要求音频或字幕对白翻译数据的数据。
10.按权利要求9所述的接收机,其特征在于,还包括显示语言菜单的装置(14),其中,检测装置(6、12)从所述语言菜单中检测用户偏爱语言的选择。
11.一种根据要求提供音频或字幕对白翻译数据的方法,它包括如
下步骤:
-通过互联网接收(3)用户请求的识别信息,其中,所述识别信息对应偏爱语言和对应在不同于偏爱语言的语言中由音频或字幕对白数据原来伴随的视频数据;
-为有关的视频数据存储或产生(A,…,D)指定到不同语言的音频或字幕对白翻译数据组,其中,每一个音频或字幕对白翻译数据组包含涉及到特殊的视频数据的原来语言音频或字幕对白数据的语言翻译;
-根据接收的识别信息,选择音频或字幕对白翻译数据组,其中,选择的音频或字幕对白翻译数据族代表了与偏爱语言对应的原来语言音频或字幕对白数据的语言翻译;
-通过互联网把选择的音频或字幕对白翻译数据组发送到所述用户的接收机。
