Abstract

Description
前言
本发明涉及一种热成型包装的制造方法,该方法包括把第一片可成型薄膜放在一个具有模腔的成型模具上、将此薄膜模塑进模腔,从而在薄膜上形成凹坑、在由此形成的凹坑中放入组合物,以及将第二片薄膜沿该凹坑密封,使包装闭合。本发明特别涉及装有洗涤剂组合物的水溶性包装的制造方法。
洗衣机用洗涤剂组合物以许多种形式提供。洗衣洗涤剂最流行的形式可能就是洗衣粉或者是颗粒。使用这种形式的洗涤剂带来的问题是,需要将产品计量加入到洗衣机里,使得洗涤剂迅速地、完全地溶解于洗衣机的水中,而不会以固体的形式与衣物接触。在此方面,提出过许多克服这些问题的计量装置。在欧洲专利No.0 343 070和0343 069中公开的一个这样装置告诉我们,使用柔性的织物短袜(sock)能够把颗粒状洗涤剂保持在机器中,短袜的织物能够透水,可以让水进入短袜,把洗涤剂以水溶液的形式通过织物的壁带出此短袜。最近,提出过洗衣粉压片形式的洗涤剂单剂形。提供洗涤片剂所遇到的问题是,该片剂要有足够的强度以经受储存和运输,但又要足够地脆弱,能够迅速地在洗衣机中崩解和溶解。再一个问题是,需要防止片剂“粘在”传统洗衣机的孔隙内或转桶之间。最近通过提供具有特殊化学崩解剂的洗涤剂片剂和提供松散配置的网袋就克服了这些问题,这种崩解剂能够让该片剂在洗衣机的水环境中迅速崩解,而网袋有助于片剂的崩解和防止“粘住”。然而,由于许多常用的洗涤剂片剂含有漂白剂和其它刺激性物质,仍然存在处置这些片剂的问题。
提供在水溶性薄膜中的洗涤剂组合物已经知道一些时间了。有关此主题的大多数文献都叙述了用垂直的成型-灌装-密封(VFFS)途径制造的水溶性薄膜外套。用这种VFFS方法制造的外套的问题是,由于方法的限制,得到的外套的密封处会带来确定的薄弱点,即在拐角密封重叠的处所。这样就使外套在运输的过程中由于受到冲击而容易破裂。在试图克服与这种VFFS外套相关的问题时,欧洲专利说明书No.0 608 910叙述了热成型水溶性包装,用来包装上述类型的杀虫剂组合物,此包装包括本身不具有任何角度交叉的密封。虽然此说明书给薄弱密封问题提供了部分解决方案,但水溶性薄膜的热成型会导致成型的包装具有许多另外的薄弱点。再有,这种包装的包装和运输使形成的包装体受到可观的冲击力。热成型方法的另一个固有的问题是,特别是当热成型包装必须装有液体时,密封会受到液体的污染,导致包装的密封不良。
本发明的目的就是克服至少一部分上述的问题。
本发明的陈述
按照本发明,提供了上述类型的热成型包装的制造方法,该方法的特征在于,一旦成型完毕,通过给该模腔或每个模腔施加真空,使该凹坑或每个凹坑基本上保持在其成型的方向上。真空理想地要至少保持到完成密封步骤。以此方式,使形成的凹坑的回缩尽可能地小,从而防止在成型的凹坑中所装有的组合物溢出到薄膜的密封区。所施加的真空度应该足以将形成的凹坑保持在其成型的方向上,而不会有不适当的变形或者以另外的方式损害薄膜。在这方面,所施加的精确压力是可变的,取决于被成型的薄膜、加入到凹坑中组合物的种类和成型环境的温度和湿度。然而,一般将使用的真空度为0.1~10bar。优选通过至少一个成型模腔上的至少一个孔来施加真空。理想地该模腔或每个模腔将包括多个通过其施加真空的孔。在本发明的一个实施方案中,该至少一个模腔可以含有多孔的材料,通过它可以施加真空。
在成型模具上的该模腔或每个模腔优选具有曲线的边缘,其中至少一部分曲线边缘是由可弹性变形的材料制造的。理想地,此曲线边缘的大部分,最优选全部曲线边缘是由可弹性变形的材料制造的。在本发明的一个实施方案中,曲线边缘包括一个由可弹性变形材料制造的环形垫片,此垫片装在该模腔或每个模腔周围的周边槽里。在此情况下,当安装在槽中时,该垫片的尺寸应该使垫片的曝露表面与模腔的表面平齐。
在本发明的又一个方面,该模腔或每个模腔的周围环绕着突起的凸缘,其中此凸缘的至少一部分,理想是大部分或全部都含有可弹性变形材料。在此情况下,曲线边缘和凸缘优选是整体成型的。因此,一个单个的垫片优选包括曲线边缘和凸缘。在本发明的一个实施方案中,凸缘的宽度与模腔的小直径之比为1∶50~1∶10,优选为约1∶12。
可弹性变形材料优选是硅橡胶,然而可以设想能够具有相同功能的其它适当材料。
在本发明方法的热成型包装中,用具有在使用时与至少一个模腔重叠的至少一个凹入部分的加热板来加热薄膜,其中该加热步骤涉及到将该薄膜与该凹入部分或每个凹入部分紧密接触的步骤。使用具有凹入部分的加热板能够确保加热时此薄膜能够均匀地被热成型,这就导致包装具有较少的薄弱点。
在本发明的一个实施方案中,通过在凹入部分和薄膜之间施加真空来实现薄膜和凹入部分之间的紧密接触。在这方面,此凹入部分可以包括一个能够通过其拉真空的孔。另外,加热板可以包含多孔材料。当以这种方式施加真空时,真空度理想地应该至多为1bar,优选低于0.6bar。在本发明的一个供选择实施方案中,通过向薄膜吹空气来迫使薄膜与凹入部分紧密接触。此吹空气的压力一般将低于5bar,优选低于3bar。加热板的温度优选为100~120℃,理想地是大约110℃。虽然薄膜接触加热板的时间在很大程度上取决于所用薄膜的类型和加热板的温度,但薄膜和加热板的接触时间一般应该为0.1~5sec,优选0.5~1sec,理想接近700毫秒。
在本发明的一个特别优选的实施方案中,至少一个凹入部分是圆形的。在这种情况下,凹入部分的直径与其深度的比为4∶1~50∶1,典型的是5∶1~40∶1,适当的是7∶1~30∶1,理想地是8∶1~20∶1。在一个最优选的实施方案中,此比值大约10∶1。因此,在下面将要详细叙述的一个本发明实施方案中,此凹入部分是直径大约50mm,深度大约5mm的圆形。
凹入部分理想地具有带圆角的边缘。该凹入部分底部优选具有曲率半径,其中底部曲率半径与边缘曲率半径的比优选为5∶1~1∶1,最优选为大约2∶1。一般单个的加热板具有许多个凹入部分,其大多数情况下相当于成型模具上模腔的相等数目。
在本发明的一个实施方案中,薄膜是水溶性的薄膜。此包装理想地装有液体、凝胶或其它类型的可流动组合物。液体优选包括洗涤剂或在洗衣机或洗碗机中使用的任何其它类型的活性剂。在本发明的另一个实施方案中,包装含有洗浴用凝胶组合物或任何其它类型的个人护理组合物。
本发明的详细叙述
从下面叙述的本发明的某些实施方案将能够更清晰地理解本发明,给出这些叙述仅仅是为了举例。
实施例
在此实施例中,叙述了一种热成型的方法,其中用具有多个尺寸一般相当于待制造包装尺寸的模腔的成型模具,在单个板上来形成多个凹坑。再有,用单个加热板来模塑所有模腔的薄膜,并以同样的方式叙述单个的密封板。
将第一片聚乙烯醇薄膜拉到成型模具上,使得薄膜盖在模具的多个成型模腔上。一般每个模腔是具有圆边的屋顶状的,此模腔的边缘作成圆角,以消除任何在本发明的成型或密封步骤中可能损害薄膜的尖锐边缘。每个模腔在周围进一步包括突起的凸缘。为了使包装的强度尽可能地大,送入成型模具中的薄膜要没有折痕而且具有尽可能小的张力。在成型步骤中,薄膜被加热到100~120℃,优选为大约110℃,加热时间至多5sec,优选大约700微秒。用加热板来加热薄膜,加热板的位置与成型模具相重叠。加热板包括与成型模具的凹坑相当的多个凹入部分。在此预加热步骤中,要通过预加热板拉真空,确保薄膜和预加热板之间的紧密接触,此紧密接触保证了薄膜平稳而均匀的加热(真空度取决于热成型的条件和使用薄膜的类型,然而在本文中发现,低于0.6bar的真空度是适当的)。不均匀的加热会导致形成具有薄弱点的包装。除了真空以外,还能够对着薄膜吹空气,迫使薄膜与预加热板紧密接触。
热成型的薄膜因此被模塑进模腔,形成了多个凹坑,它们一旦形成,就通过模腔壁施加的真空使其保持成型的方向。要保持此真空至少到包装被密封。一旦形成了凹坑并通过真空定位,就在每个凹坑中加入组合物,在此情况下是加入液体洗涤剂。成型的凹坑被真空保持其成型方向的事实能够基本上防止成型薄膜收缩,如果不防止此收缩,就可能导致凹坑内的部分组合物从凹坑中溢出到叠在密封凸缘上的那部分薄膜上,从而使密封不良。然后把第二片聚乙烯醇薄膜重叠在第一片上,覆盖住充填好的凹坑,并用加热板将其密封。在此情况下,平板状的热密封板在大约140~160℃的温度下操作,薄膜的接触时间是1~2sec,施加的力是8~30kg/cm2,优选10~20kg/cm2。环绕着每个模腔的凸缘保证薄膜沿着该凸缘密封,形成连续的闭合密封。每个模腔的带圆角边缘至少部分是用可弹性变形的材料制造的,比如用硅橡胶制造。这导致降低了作用在密封凸缘内边缘上的力,避免热/压力对薄膜的损害。
一旦完成了密封,就用切割装置使形成的包装与薄膜的边分离。在此步骤中,可以释放模具的真空,从模具中弹出已经形成的包装。以这样的方式,在停留在成型模具中的时候使该包装成型、灌装并密封。此外,也可以在成型模具中进行切割。
在本方法的成型、灌装和密封等步骤中,气氛的相对湿度要控制在大约50%。这样做是要保持薄膜的热密封特性。当处置较薄的薄膜时,降低相对湿度可能是必须的,以保证薄膜具有比较低的塑化度,以及使其具有硬化的倾向,更容易处置。所需气氛的实际特定相对湿度将根据环境的温度和使用的薄膜的类型而变化,然而在20℃的温度下,根据薄膜的厚度和弹性不同,相对湿度应该在30~50%之间。
本发明并不限于前面所叙述的这些实施方案,可以在结构、细节和方法步骤上进行变化而不会超出本发明的精神范围。
Claims (5)
1.一种制造热成型包装的方法,包括如下的步骤:
—将第一片薄膜放在具有至少一个模腔的成型模具上;
—加热该薄膜;
—将该薄膜模塑进至少一个模腔内,借此在薄膜上形成至少一个凹坑;
—在至少一个形成的凹坑中放入组合物;以及
—将第二片薄膜沿至少一个形成的凹坑密封,得到至少一个闭合的包装,
本方法的特征在于,一旦成型,就通过该模腔或每个模腔施加真空,使该凹坑或每个凹坑基本保持在其成型方向上。
2.如权利要求1的方法,其中保持真空至少直到完成密封步骤。
3.如权利要求1或2的方法,其中通过成型模腔上的至少一个孔来施加真空。
4.如权利要求3的方法,其中该成型模腔或每个成型模腔包括多个通过其施加真空的孔。
5.通过权利要求1~4任一项的方法得到的包装。
