Abstract

用于在双液晶显示器折叠型移动终端上 显示消息的方法
                        技术领域
本发明总地涉及一种移动终端，且更具体地说涉及一种用于在折叠型移动终端上显示消息的方法。
                        背景技术
一般地，移动终端被分类为条型(bar-type)终端或可折叠终端。条型终端包括暴露于外界环境中的键盘，并由于其较大并笨重的尺寸而已经不太普遍。然而，可折叠终端由于其紧凑的尺寸而变得普及，且其由主机体和可折叠地安装于主机体上的子机体构成，该子机体保护安装于主机体上的键盘。
可折叠终端可以分为三类：翻动型(flip-type)终端、上翻型(flip-up-type)终端和折叠型终端。翻动型终端具有一翻盖，其作用为两个目的：(1)翻动型终端包括子机体以保护安装在主机体上的键盘；以及(2)由于麦克风设置在靠近用户嘴部，而使得用户将其声音汇聚到安装于主机体上的麦克风处。上翻型终端特征为其翻盖，该翻盖可朝向主机体的上侧打开。折叠型终端具有安装在子机体上的LCD(液晶显示器)模块。

本发明的另一目的是提供一种用于使用户能够在不打开子机体前提下，检查在双LCD折叠型移动终端内所接收到的消息的消息显示方法。
为了实现上述和其他的目的，提供了一种用于在折叠型移动终端中显示消息的方法，该折叠型移动终端包括主机体、安装到主机体上的子机体、该子机体具有安装在外侧上的第一显示器和安装在内侧上的第二显示器。在接收到消息时，虽然子机体折叠到主机体上，该移动终端在第一显示器上显示表示接收到消息的标记。在接收到对应于用户外部显示要求的按键输入时，移动终端决定是否将第一显示器设定为双行模式。如果第一显示器被设定为双行模式，移动终端在第一显示器的第一行滚动地显示接受到的消息并在第一显示器的第二行上固定不变地显示消息接收时间和呼叫者的电话号码。然而，如果第一显示器未被设定为双行模式，该移动终端也会在第一显示器上依次滚动地显示接收到的消息、消息接收时间和呼叫者的电话号码。

                      具体实施方式
以下，将参照附图描述本发明优选实施例。在以下描述中，公知的功能或结构只粗略地加以说明，是由于他们作为不必要的细节会使本发明难于理解。
图1A示出本发明所应用的双LCD折叠型移动终端100，其中子机体120折叠到主机体110上。图1B示出子机体120从主机体110打开的双LCD折叠型移动终端。
参照图1A和1B，双LCD折叠型移动终端100包括铰链装置101、由上壳框架111和下壳框架112构成的主机体110、以及用于保护安装在主机体110上的键盘160的子机体120。铰链装置101将主机体110机械地连接于子机体120上。主机体110具有安装在其侧面上的音量提高/降低功能键180。此外，天线装置130安装在主机体110上端被选定的一侧上。如图1B所示，连接于主机体110的下端的子机体120具有安装在其上部的耳机140，以及位于耳机下部的内部LCD150。此外，如图1 A所示，子机体120具有安装到其外侧上的外前部LCD190。主机体110还包括按键160和安装于其上的麦克风170。
图2示出了双LCD折叠型移动终端100的示意性方块图。参照图2，控制器200控制双LCD折叠型移动终端100的整个工作。RF(射频)模块202在控制器200的控制下发射并接收音频数据和通信数据。音频处理器204在控制器200的控制下将由RF模块202接收到的数字音频数据转化成模拟音频信号，并通过扬声器SPK作为一可听到的信号输出该被转化的音频信号。此外，音频处理器204将从麦克风MIC接收到的音频信号转化成数字音频数据并将被转化的数字音频数据提供给RF模块202。按键输入单元206包括多个字母数字的按键和功能键，并给控制器200提供于用户所按下的键相对应的按键输入数据。LCD驱动器208在控制器200的控制下，在外前部LCD190和/或内部LCD150上显示各种信息。存储器210包括用来存储控制双LCD折叠型移动终端工作中所用的程序数据的程序存储器，和用于存放控制工作期间产生的数据或由用户输入的数据的数据存储器。传感器212探测双LCD折叠型移动终端的子机体120的打开状态，并将产生的传感信号提供给控制器200。
在本发明示例性实施例中，在接收到字符消息或广播消息时，双LCD折叠型移动终端在外前部LCD上显示接收到的消息，因此，用户可以检查(或读取)接收到的消息，而不必打开子机体120以读取在内部LCD150上的消息。考虑到外前部LCD190窗口尺寸比内部LCD150相对小，双LCD折叠型移动终端使消息滚动过外前部LCD190来显示。
图3示出用于在根据本发明实施例的双LCD折叠型移动终端内显示消息的步骤。图3的步骤由控制器200执行。
图4示出了在根据本发明实施例的双LCD折叠型移动终端的外前部LCD190上显示的屏幕布局。
现在，参照图1A到4，将对于本发明实施例的操作进行详细描述。
在接收到诸如字符消息或广播消息的消息时，控制器200在步骤300识别接收到的消息，并然后进行到步骤302。在步骤302中，控制器200在外前部LCD190和内部LCD150上都显示表示接收信息的图标，且同时移动终端100的灯(未示出)闪烁以指示接收到信息(或产生蜂鸣声)。本领域技术人员可以意识到本发明可以利用任何目前使用的提醒用户已经在移动终端接收到消息的装置。优选地，表示接收到消息的图标具有在外前部LCD190的窗口W1上显示的邮政信封的形状，如图4所示。
此后，在步骤304中，控制器200在存储器210中存储接收到的消息。优选地，该接收到的消息于其接收时间和呼叫者的电话号码一同存储。在步骤306中，控制器200确定子机体120是否打开。控制器200可以根据传感器212的输出信号识别子机体120的开启状态。
如果子机体120被用户打开，控制器200执行步骤308中存在的消息显示方法。即，在步骤308中，控制器200在内部LCD150的单一屏幕上与消息接收时间和呼叫者的电话号码一同显示接收到的消息。
否则，如果在步骤306中子机体120未被用户打开，在步骤310中控制器200确定是否从用户接收到一外部显示要求。当他或她想要在不打开子机体120的前提下检查接收到的信息时，用户将作出外部显示要求。优选地，外部显示要求通过按下安装在双LCD折叠型移动终端外侧的各按键中的一个来实现。本领域技术人员将意识到任何型式的按键输入可以用于外部显示要求。例如，在子机体120折叠状态下，用户按下图1A所示的音量提高/降低按键180时，控制器200识别为外部显示要求。
在步骤310中在从用户接收到外部显示要求时，控制器200在步骤312中确定外前部LCD190是否被设定为双行显示模式。如上所述，外前部LCD190窗口尺寸比内部LCD150相对小。例如，外前部LCD190的窗口尺寸足够小以使消息必须以单行或双行显示。因此，如果外前部LCD190具有单行的尺寸，其将固定地设定为单行显示模式。然而，如果外前部LCD190具有双行的窗口尺寸，其将被设定为单行显示模式或双行显示模式。如果外前部LCD190为彩色图形LCD，将有可能根据设定的显示模式以单行或双行显示消息。无论外前部LCD190的窗口尺寸如何，彩色图形LCD支持点阵显示技术。
如果在步骤312中外前部LCD190被设定为双行显示模式，控制器200在步骤314中从存储器210中与消息接收时间和呼叫者电话号码一同读取接收到的消息，在外前部LCD190上固定地显示消息接收时间和呼叫者的电话号码，并滚动地显示接收到的消息。在图4所示的示例中，在从用户接收到外部显示要求时，控制器200将在第一行L1上显示的接收到的消息向外前部LCD190的窗口W2的左侧滚动，并在外前部LCD190的窗口W2的第二行L2上固定不动地显示存储在存储器210中的相关的消息接收时间和呼叫者电话号码。作为另一示例，也有可能在第二行L2上只显示消息接收时间和呼叫者电话号码中的一个或全不显示。此外，也有可能滚动在第二行L2上显示的消息接收时间和呼叫者电话号码。
其间，如果在步骤312中外前部LCD190未设定为双行显示模式，控制器200在步骤316中与相关的消息接收时间和呼叫者电话号码一同从存储器210中读取接收到的消息，并依次滚动地在外前部LCD190上显示接收到的消息、消息接收时间和呼叫者电话号码。在图4所示的示例中，在从用户接收到外部显示要求时，控制器200向左滚动在外前部LCD190的窗口W2′上显示的接收到的消息、消息接收时间和呼叫者电话号码。如另一示例，也有可能只显示消息接收时间和呼叫者电话号码之一或全不显示。
在本发明实施例中，接收到的消息滚动地由外前部LCD190显示，这是由于外前部LCD190对于在同一窗口(或屏幕)上显示接收到的信息来说尺寸太小。用于在外前部LCD190上滚动地显示接收到的消息的方法如下。控制器200设定一100ms定时器，并然后将所显示的字符向左侧移动，并每100ms间隔一个字节地连续将要在外前部LCD190上显示的字符移向左侧，从而滚动接收到的消息。另外，在接收到的消息的最后一个字符已经被显示时，如呼叫者电话号码已经被显示时，接收到的消息可以不向左移动。例如，当呼叫者电话号码的最后一个数字，例如“123-456-7890”的“0”已经在外前部LCD190上显示，相对接收到的信息不再有字符要在外前部LCD190上显示了。
在步骤314或316的工作期间，用户可以检查正在滚动的接收到的消息，不论其多长。另外，用户也可以查看消息接收时间和呼叫者电话号码。
在这种状态下，如果用户作出外部显示解除要求，控制器200在步骤318中探测到外部显示解除要求，并然后进行到步骤320。优选地是，外部显示解除要求通过按下安装在双LCD折叠型移动终端外侧的各按键中的一个来实现。例如，在接收到的消息正滚动地在外前部LCD190上显示时，如图1A所示，当用户按下音量提高/降低按键180时，控制器200识别为外部显示解除要求。
在接收到外部显示解除要求时，在步骤320中，控制器200在外前部LCD190上显示正常的屏幕。例如，控制器200在外前部LCD190上显示RSSI条、电池图标、日期、星期和目前时间，如图4的窗口W3所示。
如上所述，用户可以轻易地检查在双LCD折叠型移动终端的外前部LCD上显示的诸如接收到的消息和广播消息的消息，即使不打开子机体。

Claims (9)

1.一种用于在折叠型移动终端中显示消息的方法，其中折叠型移动终端包括主机体、可折叠地安装于主机体上的子机体，所述子机体具有安装在外侧上的第一显示器和安装在其内侧的第二显示器，所述方法包括：
在接收到信息时，在子机体折叠于主机体上时，在第一显示器上显示表示接收到信息的标记；以及
在用户外部显示要求时，在第一显示器上滚动地显示接收到的信息。
2.如权利要求1所述的方法，其中，用户的外部显示要求通过按下安装于折叠型移动终端外侧的按键而被接受。
3.如权利要求1所述的方法，其中，接收到的消息通过以预定数的字节移动接收到的信息而移动。
4.如权利要求1所述的方法，还包括在用户外部显示解除要求时，在第一显示器上显示从包括RSSI条、电池图标、日期、星期及目前时间的组中选出的初始信息。
5.如权利要求4所述的方法，其中，用户的外部显示解除要求通过按下安装于折叠型移动终端外侧的按键而被接受。
6.如权利要求1所述的方法，还包括在第一显示器上跟随接收到的消息滚动地显示消息接收时间和呼叫者电话号码。
7.一种用于在折叠型移动终端中显示消息的方法，该折叠型移动终端包括主机体、可折叠地安装于主机体上的子机体，所述子机体具有安装在外侧上的第一显示器和安装在其内侧的第二显示器，所述方法包括：

8.一种用于在折叠型移动终端中显示消息的方法，该折叠型移动终端包括主机体、可折叠地安装于主机体上的子机体，所述子机体具有安装在外侧上的第一显示器和安装在其内侧的第二显示器，所述方法包括：
在接收到消息时，在子机体被折叠时，在第一显示器上显示表示接收到消息的标记；以及

如果第一显示器未被设定为双行显示模式，在第一显示器上滚动地显示接收到的消息。
9.如权利要求8所述的方法，还包括如果第一显示器未被设定为双行显示模式，跟随接收到的消息滚动地显示消息接收时间和呼叫者电话号码。
