发明领域
本发明涉及内燃机的NOx清除设备和NOx清除方法,所述内燃机具有NOx触媒,在富氧气氛中该触媒具有清除废气中的NOx的作用。
背景技术
公知的NOx清除设备利用氨作为选择性还原触媒的还原剂,所述氨由将尿素水加入废气中水解产生,或者将氨直接加入废气中。安装在使用内燃机的交通工具中的这种NOx清除设备,其设计方式是,将选择性还原触媒布置在内燃机的排气系统中,将作为还原剂的尿素水或氨从触媒的上游一侧加入到废气中,然后供给NOx触媒,所述选择性还原触媒,即所谓尿素SCR触媒(下称为NOx触媒),可以在富氧气氛中清除废气中的NOx
一般地,NOx清除设备的NOx清除率非常依赖于NOx触媒的性能,上述包括氨作为还原剂的NOx触媒具有在超过350℃温度范围内高效还原NOx的工艺性能。

如图8中的实线所示,这种包括氨作为还原剂的NOx触媒吸附的氨量越大,NOx的清除率就越高,因此优选的是,为了使NOx触媒在低温区达到高的清除率,应保持高的氨吸附量。NOx触媒对氨的吸附量有一个极限,在图9中实线n所示的吸附极限值取决于触媒的温度。
交通工具的工作状态是连续变化的,内燃机的废气排放流速、废气中NOx的含量以及触媒的温度变化较大,因此,当交通工具上安装了含有具有这种性质的NOx触媒的NOx清除设备时,需要根据交通工具工作状态的变化为NOx触媒提供氨。当供给NOx触媒的氨不能与工作状态适应时,例如,当氨供给量小时,NOx触媒的氨吸附量不足,NOx不能充分还原;当氨供给量过大并超过吸附极限值时,容易发生所谓的氨的逸出现象,即把没有被NOx触媒吸附的氨排放到大气中。
发明内容
本发明解决了此问题,并且本发明的目的是提供内燃机的NOx清除设备和NOx清除方法,以便可以在并保持高的NOx清除率的同时,有效地制止导入的氨的逸出。
根据本发明的内燃机的NOx清除设备包括:NOx触媒,位于内燃机排气系统中,其通过吸附还原剂而选择性地还原废气中的NOx;还原剂供给装置,用于为所述NOx触媒供给所述还原剂;NOx排放量导出装置,用于检验或测定内燃机的NOx排放量;NOx实际清除率导出装置,用于导出NOx触媒的实际的NOx清除率;消耗量导出装置,其根据所述NOx排放量导出装置所检验或测定的NOx排放量以及所述NOx实际清除率导出装置导出的实际清除率,导出吸附到NOx触媒上的还原剂的消耗量;吸附量导出装置,其根据所述消耗量导出装置导出的还原剂的消耗量以及所述还原剂供给装置供给的还原剂添加量,导出吸附到NOx触媒上的还原剂实际吸附量;以及控制装置,根据所述吸附量导出装置导出的实际吸附量控制所述还原剂供给装置。
于是根据本发明,通过检测吸附到NOx触媒上的还原剂的实际吸附量,可以供给恰当数量的还原剂,以满足还原NOx排放量所需的还原剂吸附量,而且可在达到高的NOx清除率的同时,减少还原剂的用量,并可减少例如氨的逸出。

下面解释根据本发明第一实施方式的内燃机NOx清除设备。在图1中,符号1代表安装在交通工具(未示出)上的柴油发动机(下文称发动机)。发动机1的输出由发动机控制装置5控制。在这种情况下,发动机控制装置5根据吸气流速和燃料喷射量导出排气流速G并输出到排气控制装置4。

NOx清除设备具有如下装置:NOx触媒17,其被安装在与发动机1的排气歧管25相连并构成排气系统的排气管28中,用于选择性地还原废气中的NOx;还原剂供给装置,用于向NOx触媒17提供氨;NOx排气量导出装置41,其用来估算作为从发动机1中排出的NOx排放量的NOx质量流速Unox;实际NOx清除率导出装置42,其用来导出NOx触媒17的实际NOx清除率η;消耗量导出装置43,其根据NOx排气量导出装置41估算的NOx质量流速Unox以及实际NOx清除率导出装置42导出的实际NOx清除率η,导出吸附到NOx触媒17上的氨消耗量f(η,Unox);吸附量导出装置45,其根据还原剂供给装置29供给的氨的添加量DNH3以及消耗量导出装置43导出的氨消耗量f(η,Unox),导出吸附到NOx触媒17上的实际氨吸附量SNH3(n);目标吸附量设定装置47,其用来设定NOx触媒17的目标氨吸附量MNH3;控制装置46,其根据吸附量导出装置45导出的实际吸附量SNH3(n)与目标吸附量设定装置47设定的目标吸附量MNH3的对比结果,来控制还原剂供给装置29;和基本添加量导出装置50,其用来导出氨的基本添加量UDNH3
NOx触媒17的安装是,将触媒成分附着到蜂窝结构的触媒载体上,并将该载体包含在排气管28中NOx触媒转化器27的外壳中。当NOx触媒17含有选择性还原触媒时,其中具有钒类、铂类、沸石类等。NOx触媒17通过吸附氨(NH3)并在氨吸附状态下选择性地还原废气24中的NOx。根据废气24中NOx气氛的温度高或低,通过在高温下主要进行方程(2)的反应以及低温下主要进行方程(3)的反应,NOx触媒17加速NH3与氮的氧化物之间的脱氮反应。
NOx触媒17具有触媒温度传感器22,用于输出触媒温度Tg。否则,根据与触媒温度相关的参数,例如,发动机转数和燃料喷射量、各个发动机工作区的工作时间周期以及环境温度,可以计算出触媒温度的估计值作为触媒温度Tg。
还原剂供给装置29具有如下部件:添加喷嘴18,其被安装在前方NOx传感器19与NOx触媒17之间的排气管28上,用来将尿素水喷射到NOx触媒转化器27的上游开口一侧;喷管31,其与添加喷嘴18相连;空气罐32,其被连接到喷管31上游端;压缩空气控制阀33,其用来控制供给到喷管31的压缩空气;尿素水供给管34,其在压缩空气阀33的下游位置与喷管连接;尿素水罐35,其含有用于添加的尿素水;以及尿素水供给部分37,其用来控制尿素水罐35内的尿素水从尿素水供给管34供给到喷管31。压缩空气控制阀33和尿素水供给部分37通过信号线连接到控制装置46。
根据NOx触媒17上游侧的NOx浓度Snoxf和废气流速G,NOx排气量导出装置41导出NOx质量流速Unox,所述NOx浓度Snoxf由NOx触媒17上游侧的排气管28上的前方NOx传感器19检测得到,所述废气流速G为来自发动机控制装置5的相应于发动机1的废气排出量。
NOx触媒17下游侧的排气管28具有后方NOx传感器26,该传感器用于检测NOx触媒17下游侧的NOx浓度Snoxr。分别来自NOx传感器19和26的NOx浓度Snoxf和Snoxr被输出到实际NOx清除率导出装置42。
实际NOx清除率导出装置42是运算电路,其通过处理NOx传感器19和26得出的NOx浓度Snoxf和Snoxr,计算出二者之差Snoxf-Snoxr,并用该差值除以Snoxf,从而求得实际NOx清除率(η)。
基本添加量导出装置50具有氨的基本添加量计划,该计划是根据发动机的工作状态预先设定的,以满足图3和图4中虚线L2所示的NOx触媒17的氨吸附量,该装置根据触媒温度Tg恰当地选择氨的基本添加量DNH3,并将该添加量输出到吸附量导出装置45。
目标吸附量设定装置47具有设定的计划,该装置根据触媒温度检测装置检测或估计的触媒温度Tg,来设定NOx触媒17吸附的氨的目标吸附量MNH3
吸附量导出装置45是运算电路,该装置根据上次导出的实际吸附量SNH3(n-1)、基本添加量导出装置50导出的氨的基本添加量DNH3以及本次导出的氨的消耗量f(η,Unox),按下面的方程(4)导出估计的实际吸附量SNH3(n):
SNH3(n)=SNH3(n-1)+DNH3-f(η,Unox)………(4)
根据本实施方式,废气控制装置4包括NOx排放量导出装置41、实际NOx清除率导出装置42、消耗量导出装置43、吸附量导出装置45、控制装置46以及目标吸附量设定装置47和基本添加量导出装置50。控制装置46控制压缩空气控制阀33和尿素水供给部分37的驱动。
下面将根据图2的NOx清除过程解释NOx清除设备的NOx控制处理。
在驱动装有NOx清除设备的交通工具(未示出)的发动机1时,发动机控制装置5确认自检结果是否正常,或者由多个控制系统,如燃料喷射系统、燃料供给系统等恰当地控制的相关装置和传感器的工作是否正常。如果正常(OK),根据上述各个传感器的各输入值,将控制信号传送到燃料喷射系统和燃料供给系统进行控制,并将此时得到的传感器的输出等也传送到废气控制装置4。
在每次预定的控制循环中,在发动机键打开的同时,在废气控制装置4重复图2中NOx清除过程的NOx清除处理控制。在步骤R1,废气控制装置4确认键打开,在步骤R2输入触媒温度Tg、废气流速G、NOx浓度Snoxf和Snoxr、上次的吸附量SNH3(n-1)等数据。
在步骤R3,废气控制装置4分别计算如下各项:利用废气流速G和NOx浓度Snoxf计算NOx质量流速Unox;利用NOx浓度Snoxf和Snoxr计算实际NOx清除率η;根据触媒温度Tg计算氨的基本添加量DNH3作为NOx触媒17新吸附的氨量;根据来自构成目标吸附量设定装置47的图的触媒温度Tg,计算目标吸附量MNH3,接着执行步骤R4。
在步骤R4,废气控制装置4根据NOx质量流速Unox和实际NOx清除率η导出消耗量f(η,Unox);在步骤R5利用方程(4)计算导出实际吸附量SNH3(n)。
在步骤R6,废气控制装置4对比实际吸附量SNH3(n)和目标吸附量MNH3,当实际吸附量SNH3(n)超过目标吸附量MNH3时,有可能发生氨的逸出,因此执行步骤R9,尿素水供给部分37停止加入尿素水,控制还原剂供给装置29停止,从而完成本次控制循环。
当实际吸附量SNH3(n)没有超过目标吸附量MNH3时,废气控制装置4执行步骤R7,利用二者之差校正氨的基本添加量DNH3以满足目标吸附量MNH3,从而导出实际氨的添加量DNH3(n),并执行步骤R8。在步骤R8,当实际吸附量SNH3(n)=目标吸附量MNH3时,如图3所示,废气控制装置4不校正基本添加量DNH3;当实际吸附量SNH3(n)<目标吸附量MNH3时,如图4所示,给基本添加量DNH3加上一个差值。在步骤R8,通过控制驱动还原剂供给装置29的尿素水供给部分37,结束当前控制循环。
通过步骤R8的控制操作,尿素水供给部分37根据氨的实际添加量DNH3(n)或基本添加量DNH3,经喷管31由添加喷嘴18向排气管28中提供尿素水。
根据本实施方式,还原剂供给装置29由控制装置46根据实际吸附量SNH3(n)和目标吸附量MNH3的比较结果进行控制,因此即使实际吸附量SNH3(n)出现误差,也将恰当地校正氨的基本添加量DNH3,因此可以给NOx触媒17供给恰当的氨量并被NOx触媒17吸附,达到还原NOx废气量所需的氨吸附量,从而有效抑制氨的逸出,同时维持高的NOx清除率。
当实际吸附量SNH3(n)的精度非常高时,可以使用加入实际添加量DNH3的控制模式,根据氨消耗量f校正基本添加量,而不对比实际吸附量SNH3(n)和目标吸附量MNH3
下面参考图5解释根据本发明的第二实施方式的内燃机NOx清除设备。根据此实施方式的NOx清除设备,除了废气控制装置40与废气控制装置4不同,其构造与第一实施方式基本相同。因此,与图1的第一实施方式中相同功能的结构采用了相同的符号,这里省去其详细解释。
废气控制装置40的特征在于,其提供了基准NOx清除率导出装置52以及校正装置51,并根据被校正装置51校正的实际吸附量SNH3(n),通过控制装置46来控制还原剂供给装置29;根据由吸附量导出装置45导出的实际吸附量SNH3(n)、NOx触媒17的触媒温度Tg或与触媒温度相关的参数,所述基准NOx清除率导出装置52被用来导出基准NOx清除率Sη;根据由基准NOx清除率导出装置52导出的基准NOx清除率Sη,与实际NOx清除率导出装置42导出的实际NOx清除率(η)的对比结果,所述校正装置51被用来校正实际NOx清除率导出装置42导出的实际NOx清除率η。
根据图7所示的触媒温度与NOx清除率间的关系,以及图8所示的氨吸附量与NOx清除率间的关系,由基准NOx清除率导出装置52导出基准NOx清除率Sη。
下面参照图6的NOx清除处理程序解释根据第二实施方式的NOx清除设备的NOx控制处理。
在每次预定的控制循环中,在发动机键打开的同时,在废气控制装置40重复图6中NOx清除过程的NOx清除处理控制。在步骤S1,废气控制装置40确认键打开,在步骤S2输入触媒温度Tg、废气流速G、NOx浓度Snoxf和Snoxr、上次的吸附量SNH3(n-1)等数据。
在步骤S3,废气控制装置40分别计算如下各项:利用废气流速G和NOx浓度Snoxf计算NOx质量流速Unox;利用NOx浓度Snoxf和Snoxr计算实际NOx清除率η;根据基本添加量导出装置50的图的触媒温度Tg,计算氨的基本添加量DNH3作为NOx触媒17新吸附的氨量,接着执行步骤S4。
在步骤S4,废气控制装置40根据NOx质量流速Unox和实际NOx清除率η导出消耗量f(η,Unox),进入步骤S5。在步骤S5利用方程(4)计算导出实际吸附量SNH3(n),进入步骤S6。
在步骤S6,废气控制装置40根据实际吸附量SNH3(n)  和触媒温度Tg计算出基准NOx清除率Sη,进入步骤S7。在步骤S7,废气控制装置40由基准NOx清除率Sη和实际NOx清除率η计算清除率误差Gη,进入步骤S8。在步骤S8,废气控制装置40对比先前设定的基准误差Z和清除率误差Gη,当清除率误差Gη在基准误差Z的范围内时,执行步骤S9并控制还原剂供给装置29的尿素水供给部分37的驱动,提供相应于基本添加量DNH3的氨的尿素水,以便加入基准添加量DNH3的氨,从而满足实际吸附量SNH3(n),至此结束本次控制循环。
当清除率误差Gη偏离基准误差Z的范围内时,废气控制装置40执行步骤S10,校正实际吸附量SNH3(n),校正基本添加量DNH3满足校正值,从而导出实际添加量DNH3(n),进入步骤S11。在步骤S11,废气控制装置40控制还原剂供给装置29的尿素水供给部分37的驱动,提供相应于实际添加量DNH3(n)的氨的尿素水,以便加入校正的实际添加量DNH3(n),从而结束当前控制循环。
通过步骤S9、S11的控制操作,尿素水供给部分37由添加喷嘴18经喷管31,向排气管28中提供尿素水,该尿素水的量与实际添加量DNH3(n)或基本添加量DNH3的氨量相应。
根据此实施方式,根据基准NOx清除率Sη和实际NOx清除率η的对比结果校正实际吸附量SNH3(n),因此当基准NOx清除率Sη与实际NOx清除率η之差超过基准误差Z时,校正实际吸附量SNH3(n),并由控制装置46根据校正的实际吸附量SNH3(n)控制还原剂供给装置29。这样,即使实际吸附量SNH3(n)出现误差,也将恰当地校正氨的基本添加量DNH3,因此通过将恰当的氨量供给NOx触媒17而被NOx触媒17吸附,达到还原NOx废气量所需的氨吸附量,从而有效抑制氨的逸出的发生,同时维持高的NOx清除率。

Claims (7)

1.内燃机的NOx清除设备,所述NOx清除设备包括:
NOx触媒,位于内燃机的排气系统中,其通过吸附还原剂选择性地还原废气中的NOx
还原剂供给装置,用于为所述NOx触媒供给所述还原剂;
NOx排放量导出装置,用于检验或测定内燃机的NOx排放量;
NOx实际清除率导出装置,用于导出NOx触媒的实际的NOx清除率;
消耗量导出装置,其根据所述NOx排放量导出装置所检验或测定的NOx排放量以及所述NOx实际清除率导出装置导出的实际清除率,导出吸附到NOx触媒上的还原剂消耗量;
吸附量导出装置,其根据所述消耗量导出装置导出的还原剂消耗量以及所述还原剂供给装置供给的还原剂添加量,导出吸附到NOx触媒上的还原剂实际吸附量;以及
控制装置,根据所述吸附量导出装置导出的实际吸附量控制所述还原剂供给装置。
2.如权利要求1所述的内燃机的NOx清除设备,其特征在于还原剂供给装置供给的还原剂是氨或尿素水。
3.如权利要求1所述的内燃机的NOx清除设备,其特征在于根据NOx触媒上游侧排气系统中的前方NOx传感器检测的上游侧NOx浓度与NOx触媒下游侧排气系统中的后方NOx传感器检测的下游侧NOx浓度之差或之比,实际NOx清除率导出装置导出实际NOx清除率。
4、如权利要求1所述的内燃机的NOx清除设备,该设备还包括:
目标吸附量设定装置,根据NOx触媒的触媒温度或与触媒温度相关的参数设定NOx触媒的还原剂目标吸附量;
其特征在于根据吸附量导出装置导出的实际吸附量与目标吸附量设定装置设定的目标吸附量的对比结果,控制装置控制还原剂供给装置。
5、如权利要求1所述的内燃机的NOx清除设备,该设备还包括:
基准NOx清除率导出装置,根据吸附量导出装置导出的实际吸附量和NOx触媒的触媒温度或与触媒温度相关的参数,导出基准NOx清除率;
校正装置,根据基准NOx清除率导出装置导出的基准NOx清除率与实际NOx清除率导出装置导出的实际NOx清除率的对比结果,校正吸附量导出装置导出的实际吸附量;
其特征在于根据校正装置校正的实际吸附量,控制装置控制还原剂供给装置。
6、如权利要求1所述的内燃机的NOx清除设备,其特征在于根据还原剂供给装置提供的还原剂的添加量与消耗量导出装置导出的还原剂的消耗量之差与吸附量导出装置上次导出的吸附量数值之和,吸附量导出装置导出NOx触媒吸附的还原剂的实际吸附量。
7、如权利要求2所述的内燃机的NOx清除设备,其特征在于控制装置控制还原剂供给装置,使实际吸附量落在NOx触媒不会发生氨逸出的极限值的附近。
