Abstract

技术领域
本发明涉及一种用于LCD平板显示器的电源,更具体的是涉及一种采用一个涵盖LCD平板显示器所有电源功能的单印刷电路板(PCB)和一个同步LCD平板显示器所有电源功能的单时钟发生器的集成LCD平板显示器电源。
技术背景
图1所示为一种用于LCD平板显示器34的常规电源系统10。在该常规系统10中,要用至少三个独立的PCB来提供不同的电源功能。PCB1(12)包括一个直流/交流转换器18用以产生一个交流信号给一个或多个冷阴极荧光灯(CCFLs)20供电。PCB2(14)包括一个直流/直流开关转换器和线性转换器22来产生直流电源电压供给系统10的各部件,这些部件包括一个微控制器24。例如,微控制器是作为一个控制LCD平板显示器功能的主控制器。第三块PCB,PCB3(16)用来对LCD平板显示器进行图形处理。PCB3通常包括一个图形数据处理器26、一个用来产生直流电源电压供给TFT LCD源极驱动电路30和TFT LCD栅极驱动电路32的直流/直流开关转换器和电荷泵转换器28。
在该常规系统中,三个PCB彼此之间都需要布线。这些布线很容易受来自LCD平板显示器或其它来源的噪声和干扰的影响,从而会影响LCD平板显示器的性能。另外,三个独立的PCB增加了显示器的总成本,同时也增加了用来给LCD平板显示器产生所需电源的元件数量。
发明内容
一方面,本发明给出了一种LCD平板显示器电源,该电源包括一个由至少一个直流/交流控制单元、至少一个直流/直流降压型转换器和至少一个直流/直流升压型控制单元构成的单印刷电路板。上述每个单元给LCD平板显示器的相关功能供电。
另一方面,本发明给出了一种LCD平板显示器电源,该电源包括一个由至少一个直流/交流控制单元、至少一个直流/直流降压型转换器单元和至少一个直流/直流升压型控制单元构成的单印刷电路板。每个单元给LCD平板显示器的相关功能供电。该电源还包括一个产生一个时钟信号的振荡器电路,该时钟信号被送至上述每个单元,从而使得每个单元同步工作。
另一方面,本发明给出了一种LCD平板显示器的电源,该电源包括一个由至少一个直流/交流控制单元、至少一个直流/直流降压型转换器单元、至少一个直流/直流升压型控制单元和LCD栅极源极驱动器电源控制单元构成的单印刷电路板的LCD平板显示器的电源。上述每个单元给LCD平板显示器的相关功能供电。
再一方面,本发明给出了一种集成电路,该集成电路包括一个偏置和参考信号发生器、一个振荡器、至少一个直流/交流逆变器控制器、至少一个直流/直流降压型调节器控制器、一个直流/直流升压型调节器控制器和一个线性调节器,并用来控制LCD平板显示器的电源。

具体实施例
图2所示为本发明的一种用于LCD平板显示器的典型电源系统100。在该典型实施例中,一个单集成电路102用来实现LCD平板显示器所有的电源功能。另外,本发明采用一个单独的振荡器来同步LCD平板显示器所有的电源功能。本领域的技术人员将会知道,与常规LCD电源方式相反,采用图2所示的实现方式能节省大量成本、材料和电路板空间。另外,图2中的集成电路(IC)102可以集成在一个单PCB印刷电路板上,因此,采用图2的实现方式就不易受到由于常规方式中PCB之间的布线引起的噪声影响。
在典型系统100中,IC102用来给LCD平板显示器提供电源需求。一个直流/交流逆变器控制器108作为一个常规和/或专用逆变器系统,产生控制信号给开关网络120,从而给一个或多个CCFL灯管20供电。该逆变器控制器包括一个逆变器控制器,例如O2Micro国际有限公司生产的OZ960、OZ961、OZ970、OZ969A、OZ971、OZ9RR,和/或其它本领域公知的包括全桥式、半桥式、推挽式和/或其它本领域公知的开关网络电路的逆变器控制器拓扑结构。
一个第一直流/直流降压型控制器110用一种本领域公知的方式来控制一个降压型开关网络(开关Q1和Q2),从而产生一个电源(例如,5伏),该电源可以给图2所示与其相连的微处理器供电。一个第二降压型控制器112用来控制一个降压型开关网络(开关Q3和Q4),从而产生一个用于LCD行列驱动器(图中未示出)的电源(例如,3.3伏)。降压型控制器110和112为公知的电路,也可以是定制和/或标准部件。一个升压型控制器114用来控制一个包括开关Q5的升压型电路,从而产生一个上升步进电源电压(例如,10伏)。LCD电源开关驱动器LDO_POS 116和LDO_NEG 118用来给LCD栅极源极驱动器供电,例如,分别为+20V和-7V。
本发明中,有优势的是需要时钟的电源单元,例如电源单元108-114,可以被同步。一个振荡器电路104作为每个控制器单元108-114的时钟。该振荡器电路产生一个时钟脉冲给每个电源控制单元108-114。另外,每个电源控制单元108-118可以通过一个通常与电源单元相连的偏置参考信号发生器电路106得到一个共偏置信号和参考信号。因此,该时钟、偏置和参考信号能供给IC102的各个电源单元,而不需要图1所示中的额外PCB之间的布线。
因此,本发明显然给出了一种用于LCD平板显示器的集成电源系统。本发明还给出了一种可以在一块单PCB印刷电路板实现上的用于LCD平板显示器的集成电源系统。本领域的技术人员将会知道本发明的许多改进。例如,图2所示的IC102也可以由图2所示的IC102中的多个分立的元件实现,并且所有这些选定的元件都可以在一块PCB上实现。其它对本发明的改进对于本领域的技术人员都是显而易见的,所有的这些改进都认为是在本发明的精神之内,都受限于本发明的权利要求。

Claims (11)

1.一种LCD平板显示器电源,其特征在于:所述电源包括一个由至少一个直流/交流转换器单元、至少一个直流/直流降压型转换器单元和至少一个直流/直流升压型转换器单元构成的单印刷电路板,每个所述单元给所述LCD的相关功能供电。
2.根据权利要求1所述的LCD平板显示器电源,其特征在于:所述电源还包括LCD栅极驱动器和源极驱动器电源控制单元。
3.根据权利要求1所述的LCD平板显示器电源,其特征在于:所述电源还包括一个产生一个时钟信号的振荡器电路,所述时钟信号供给每个所述单元,从而同步每个所述单元的工作。
4.根据权利要求2所述的LCD平板显示器电源,其特征在于:所述电源还包括一个给每个所述单元提供一个共偏置信号和参考信号的偏置信号和参考信号发生器电路。
5.一种LCD平板显示器电源,其特征在于:所述电源包括一个由至少一个直流/交流转换器单元、至少一个直流/直流降压型转换器单元和至少一个直流/直流升压型转换器单元构成的单印刷电路板,每个所述单元给所述LCD的相关功能供电;还包括一个产生一个时钟信号的振荡器电路,所述时钟信号供给每个所述单元,从而同步每个所述单元的工作。
6.根据权利要求5所述的LCD平板显示器电源,其特征在于:所述电源还包括LCD栅极驱动器和源极驱动器电源控制单元。
7.根据权利要求6所述的LCD平板显示器电源,其特征在于:所述电源还包括一个给每个所述单元提供一个共偏置信号和参考信号的偏置信号和参考信号发生器电路。
8.一种LCD平板显示器电源,其特征在于:所述电源包括一个由至少一个直流/交流转换器单元、至少一个直流/直流降压型转换器单元、至少一个直流/直流升压型转换器单元和LCD栅极驱动器和源极驱动器电源控制单元构成的单印刷电路板,每个所述单元给所述LCD的相关功能供电。
9.根据权利要求8所述的LCD平板显示器电源,其特征在于:所述电源还包括一个产生一个时钟信号的振荡器电路,所述时钟信号供给所述至少一个直流/交流控制单元、至少一个直流/直流降压型转换器单元和至少一个直流/直流升压型控制单元,从而同步每个所述单元的工作。
10.根据权利要求8所述的LCD平板显示器电源,其特征在于:所述电源还包括一个给每个所述单元提供一个共偏置信号和参考信号的偏置信号和参考信号发生器电路。
11.一种控制给LCD平板显示器供电的集成电路,其特征在于:所述电路包括一个偏置和参考信号发生器、一个振荡器、一个直流/交流逆变器控制器、一个直流/直流降压型调节器控制器、一个直流/直流升压型调节器控制器和一个线性调节器。
