Abstract

本发明涉及用于按照激光透射法尤其是将塑料带大面积地焊接成栅格结构的装置。为此,多个加工头被组装成一个单元,从而能够达到高的生产能力。在这些加工头之间还有间隔机构用于调节待焊接的上层透明材料带的间距。

Description

用于连结扁平的塑料材料的装置
技术领域
本发明涉及按照激光透射法连结扁平的塑料材料的装置,在激光透射法中,一个靠近激光源的且允许激光束透过的上材料层与一个对激光束起吸收作用的下层在加压的情况下相互连结,该装置有一个安装用于激光束的导向机构的加工头和一个在施压条件下把激光束传输给待连结材料的机构。
背景技术
这种借助激光束的塑料焊接方法通常是众所周知的并且也被称为透射焊接。对于这种塑料焊接方法很重要的是,在焊接过程中,材料被夹紧在一起,因为借助激光束进行材料的良好焊接的一个重要前提条件不仅是能量计量,而且在于两个待连结接合面之间的整齐的机械接触。其原因在于:透明接合件只有通过吸收性接合件才能通过热导通被加热。因此焊接质量在很大程度上取决于机械夹紧条件,因为在两个接合件之间的气隙的大小主要确定了热传导质量。
对大面积加工来说,由于材料公差以及弯曲问题,在技术上很难将整个待焊部件完全夹紧。
发明内容
因此,本发明的任务是提出一种装置,它可以对实际的焊接点同时逐点地提供激光束和压紧力并且还能完成大面积的焊接。
按照本发明,通过一种具有权利要求1的特征的装置来完成该任务。其它有利的实施方案见从属权利要求。
据此,本发明在加工头里具有聚焦机构并且在朝向待连结材料的出口端上具有一个允许激光束透过的可旋转的滚轮。该滚轮的宽度取决于接合缝并且并列布置多个这种加工头的情况下取决于在平行接合缝之间的间距。就此来说,在这里也能使用球,但该球决定了较大的间距。当调准到在待连结材料层之间的聚焦平面上时,这些聚焦机构且最好是整体的透镜系统与透明滚轮配合作用。此外,加工头具有用于在焊接过程里将工件压紧的压紧机构。压紧机构可以是弹性件或例如为气动件,它们在不同材料厚度之间进行补偿。
按照另一个优选实施方式,在加工头里布置有用于鼓入空气以便支承滚轮的通道。这保证了滚轮在加工头里能够良好地转动。
为了产生许多平行的线,可以在构造形式的帮助下并排布置多个这样的加工头。由于受结构尺寸限制在各焊接线之间仍有一定间距,因此,就可以用第二行错位布置的激光头来填补这些空缺。优选使用由玻璃构成的透明窄滚轮(圆盘)。但对该用途来说,原则上也能代之以玻璃球,在这里,玻璃球更复杂,因为这些焊接线或焊缝为此总是都比在应用透明滚轮或圆盘时要分得更开。滚轮或圆盘最好由玻璃制成。从上面看,加工头的排列例如也能相互错开地构成一个大的V形。
按照一个优选实施方式,在这些加工头之间设有间隔机构,它们作用入在加工头下方的上层之间。间隔机构在进给时用于使间距例如对要焊接在一起的条带起作用并因此用来焊接出一条整齐的直线。
为使安装空间最小,加工头可以与一根光纤维连接而没有聚焦机构,以便尽量缩小安装空间。由此得出的焦点限制了最高焊接速度。该缺点可以通过增加这些加工头的数量和因而更高的生产效率来弥补。
此外,在加工头之前还能直接布置一个直线状二极管激光器,它沿运动方向发出一道线状激光束以便预热焊接区。
这些加工头被装配在一起并在一个运动方向上来回运动。在垂直方向上,为了补偿不平度,每个加工头可以单独地气动运动。在连结塑料带时,这些塑料带在一个大面积的活动板上以栅格形状被准备好并被逐件地推入加工头的加工区里并进行焊接。活动板也可以通过一个滚动圆柱体来代替,在此,直径必须被选得大到在该加工区和加工头内的表面差不多是平面的。多个装配在一起的加工头的组件可以沿该圆柱体来回运动。通过圆柱体的转动,使塑料材料进入焊接区。
原则上,也可以加热大面积的待焊构件的安放面或者也可以加热圆柱体,以便在焊接工序之前加热塑料带,由此改善热接触质量。
借助该装置,能由塑料带制成大面积的栅格构件,其中没有使用有意义的机械夹紧件。通过该装置保证了100%的焊接质量并通过布置多个加工头保证了高的生产能力。这种栅格构件例如可以被用作细筛。

具体实施方式
图1表示的加工头1有一个外壳2,它借助气动活塞缸单元6在垂直方向上可移动地固定在一个未示出的框架上。在外壳2内,通过一个置于孔4里的光纤5把激光束输入一个空腔3里。在空腔里相应地设有适当的透镜7,以便形成通过光纤5耦合输入的激光束11。与空腔3相接地有一个第二空腔9,它用于容纳一个圆盘状玻璃滚轮10,该滚轮被激光束11穿过并且也参与到将该激光束11聚焦到所希望的聚焦平面上。为支承圆盘状玻璃滚轮10,在外壳里设有用于输入压缩空气的通道12。
如图1B所示,加工头的宽度由光学元件7、8和圆盘状玻璃滚轮的最大宽度来定。原则上,目的是要实现一种尽可能窄的加工头以便用于焊接塑料带。
图2是组装起来的加工头1的透视图,在这里,活塞缸单元就在外壳2的纵轴线上被直接装在外壳2上,以便获得尽可能窄的加工头1。
图3举例表示三个相同的加工头的组装结构以及位于它们下面的待焊塑料带13、14,在这里,对应于此时所用的方法,上层的塑料带13允许激光束11透过,而下层的塑料带14能够吸收激光束11。
图4表示布置在加工头1之间的间隔机构15,它们用来使上层的透明材料带13排成直线并且相互间具有预定间距。
图5表示大面积使用多个互相连接的加工头1的情况,这些加工头沿材料带13移动并且在完成焊接后被安放到下一行材料带13上。在材料带13的纵向上,例如可以实现沿导向杆16的导向。

Claims (5)

1.按照激光透射法连结扁平的塑料材料的装置,在激光透射法里,一个靠近激光源的上材料层由允许激光束透过的材料构成,一个下材料层由能吸收激光束的材料构成,因而这两个材料层的相互邻接的接触面被熔化并在随后的冷却时在加压下被相互连结起来,该装置有一个用于放置用于激光的导向机构的加工头和一个用于在压力作用下将激光束传输给待连结材料层的机构,其特征在于,在该加工头(1)里布置有聚焦机构(7,8)并在靠近材料层(13,14)的出口端上布置有一个允许激光束透过的可转动的滚轮(10),在当调准到聚焦平面上时,这些聚焦机构(7,8)且最好是一个整体的透镜系统与该透明的滚轮(10)共同作用,并且该加工头(1)具有用于在连结过程中压紧这些材料层的压紧机构(6)。
2.按权利要求1所述的装置,其特征在于,在该加工头(1)里设有用于鼓入空气来支承该滚轮(10)的通道(12)。
3.按权利要求1或2所述的装置,其特征在于,并排设置和/或相互错开地设置多个这样的加工头(1)。
4.按权利要求3所述的装置,其特征在于,在这些加工头(1)之间设有间隔机构(15),这些间隔机构作用在位于这些加工头(1)下面的上材料层(13)上。
5.按权利要求1-4之一所述的装置,其特征在于,该加工头具有一个细长的窄外壳(2),一个活塞缸单元(6)在与外壳侧壁平齐的情况下作用于该外壳上。
