Abstract

Description
技术领域
本发明涉及用于皮肤治疗的方法和设备。
背景技术
皮肤组织包括外部的表皮层和下方的真皮层,真皮层与皮下脂肪组织层接触。长久以来,已知按摩皮肤能够改善皮下脂肪组织的血液循环。各种类型的按摩设备已被用于治疗脂肪组织疾患。专利号为5,961,475的美国专利公开了一种按摩设备,其中,在按摩的同时对皮肤施以负压。所述联合治疗措施能够改善皮下脂肪组织的血液循环,并破坏组织中脂肪细胞间的连接。
Altshuler等的专利号为6,273,884的美国专利公开了同时对皮肤施以光能和负压的方法,以治疗皮肤疾患。
发明内容
本发明基于以下发现:加热皮肤能够增加皮肤的弹性和血液中氧从血红蛋白上的解离。增加的皮肤弹性允许更为剧烈的皮肤按摩,并且从血红蛋白上解离的氧可引起脂肪组织的破坏。为了获得所述加热皮下脂肪组织的有益效果,有必要在不损伤皮肤的前提下,将热量从皮肤表面传导至皮下约1cm深的皮肤组织处。
本发明也基于以下发现:改变皮肤区域的形状,使之突出于周围皮肤,能够增强向皮下脂肪组织和软骨的热传导。
根据本发明,改变需要治疗的皮肤区域的形状,使之突出于周围皮肤,并使用一个或多个射频(RF)电极将射频能量施用于所述突出的皮肤区域。在优选的实施方案中,通过在皮肤区域上施以负压来改变该区域皮肤的形状。在皮肤上施以负压也加速了该处皮肤的血液循环。可湿润皮肤表面,以改善与电极的接合。
在治疗期间,射频电极可选择性地用于监测皮肤阻抗。由于皮肤温度的增加会引起皮肤阻抗的改变,因此通过检测皮肤阻抗可以了解皮肤中的温度分布情况,从而可通过改变治疗参数(压力或射频能量的强度)使治疗得到最优化。
因而,本发明的第一个方面提供了实施所述皮肤治疗的方法,该方法用于治疗一个或多个皮肤区域,该方法包括:
(a)改变皮肤形状,使待治疗区域的皮肤突出于周围皮肤;
(b)对所述皮肤区域施以射频能量。
本发明的另一个方面提供了用于皮肤治疗的系统,该系统包括:
(a)皮肤塑形器,其能够改变皮肤形状,使待治疗区域的皮肤突出于周围皮肤;和
(b)一个或多个射频电极,其将射频能量施用于皮肤。

具体实施方式
本发明的、将负压和射频能量施用于皮肤的设备已经显示在图1和图2中。将设备701施用于患者的待治疗的皮肤区域703,该设备将在下文中详细描述。设备701通过缆线702连接于控制单元704。通过从泵706沿缆线702伸入内腔106的管道118,泵706抽去所述设备的内腔106中的空气。控制单元704包括一个电源705。通过导线115和116,电源705连接于设备701中的一对射频电极201和202,所述导线115和116穿过缆线702中的管道118。控制单元704具有一个输入装置如小键盘707,使用者通过该小键盘可以输入治疗参数的选择值,例如射频能量的功率或负压的强度。控制单元704选择性地具有处理器708,其用于监测和控制该设备的各种功能。例如,处理器708可以监测射频电流和电压,也可以计算治疗过程中的皮肤温度。
亦如图2所显示的,设备701具有一个钟型的盖105,其围成了内腔106。由于内腔106开口于底部,因此当施用于皮肤区域108时,内腔106与皮肤接触。与内腔106接触的皮肤区域的面积优选为1-50cm2(平方厘米)。皮肤组织包括表皮层130和真皮层132,后者位于皮下脂肪组织层133之上。当施用于皮肤表面时,环绕盖边缘的密封垫107封闭了皮肤表面的区域108。置于盖105内部的射频电极201和202用于将射频能量施用于待治疗的皮肤区域。
亦如图2所显示的,管道118的尺寸恰好适合于盖105顶部的接头203。导线115和116分别连接于端子120和121。通过位于盖105内的导线125和126,端子120和121分别电连接于电极201和202。热电冷却器140和141用于冷却电极201和202,以防止烫伤皮肤。
开动泵706可以部分抽空所述设备的内腔106,从而在设备701内部产生负压。图3显示所述设备的内腔106部分抽空后的情况,与所述设备内腔接触的皮肤区域108已经改变形状,突入到所述设备的内腔。经过对皮肤的所述处理,皮下脂肪组织133与射频电极201和202的距离更为接近。然后射频能量通过电极施用于皮肤。在射频治疗过程中,可将皮肤按摩器(未示出)与所述设备联合使用,以按摩皮肤。
将本发明所述系统用于治疗面积约为10cm2的皮肤区域时,可使用下列示例性的参数值:
射频频率:0.3-10MHz(兆赫兹)。
平均输出功率:约1W(瓦)-约300W。
内腔106中的气压:0.2-1个大气压。
Claims (20)
1、一种实施皮肤治疗的方法,该方法用于治疗一个或多个皮肤区域,该方法包括:
(a)改变皮肤形状,使该皮肤区域突出于周围皮肤;
(b)将射频能量施用于皮肤。
2、如权利要求1所述的方法,该方法还包括按摩皮肤。
3、如权利要求1所述的方法,该方法还包括冷却皮肤。
4、如权利要求1所述的方法,其中,改变皮肤形状包括将负压施用于皮肤。
5、如权利要求1所述的方法,其中,治疗包括对皮下脂肪组织或软骨的治疗。
6、如权利要求1所述的方法,其中,射频能量的频率在0.3-10兆赫兹之间。
7、如权利要求1所述的方法,其中,射频能量的功率在1-300瓦之间。
8、如权利要求4所述的方法,其中,负压为0.2-1个大气压。
9、一种用于皮肤治疗的系统,该系统包括:
(a)一种皮肤塑形器,其改变皮肤形状,使该皮肤区域突出于周围皮肤;和
(b)一个或多个射频电极,其将射频能量施用于皮肤。
10、如权利要求9所述的系统,其中,通过将负压施用于皮肤来改变皮肤形状。

17、如权利要求16所述的系统,其中,所述的一个或多个参数选自于射频能量的脉冲持续时间、射频能量的频率、射频能量的功率、和冷却皮肤与施用射频能量之间的延迟时间。
18、如权利要求9所述的系统,其中,射频能量的频率在0.3-10兆赫兹之间。
19、如权利要求9所述的系统,其中,射频能量的功率在1-300瓦之间。
