Abstract

旋转式可变电阻器
技术领域
本发明涉及旋转式可变电阻器的改进,该可变电阻器构成为包含:安装在支撑部件上的可变电阻器主体;可自由旋转地支承在该可变电阻器主体上并向外部突出的转子轴;以及连接在该转子轴外端的操作旋钮。
背景技术
所述旋转式可变电阻器,例如下述专利文献所公开的那样,已经公知。

在现有的所述旋转式可变电阻器中,在操作旋钮上设置单一的挡块,另一方面,在可变电阻器主体上设置一对限制部,用于交替地对所述挡块进行阻挡来限定转子轴的旋转角度。另外,转子轴的实际旋转角度有时会对应于可变电阻器的用途而改变,但如上所述,由于在可变电阻器主体上设置了一对限制部,用于交替地对挡块进行阻挡来限定转子轴的实际旋转角度,因此必须预先准备对应于要求的旋转轴的旋转角度而使一对限制部之间的距离不同的多个种类的可变电阻器主体,从而难以降低成本。
发明内容
本发明针对以上问题而提出的,目的在于提供一种旋转式可变电阻器,其使可变电阻器主体能够通用于转子轴的实际旋转角度不同的各种可变电阻器,有助于降低成本。
为了实现上述目的,本发明的旋转式可变电阻器,由以下部分构成:安装在支撑部件上的可变电阻器主体;可自由旋转地支撑在该可变电阻器主体上并向外部突出的转子轴;以及结合在该转子轴外端的操作旋钮;其第一特征在于,在可变电阻器主体的转子轴突出侧的正面上,突出设置有沿转子轴的旋转方向延伸的板状的单一的挡块,另一方面,在操作旋钮上设有排列在转子轴的旋转方向上的第一和第二限制部,用于交替地与所述挡块抵接来限定转子轴的实际旋转角度。
另外,所述支撑部件与后述的本发明实施例中的操作面板P对应。
另外,本发明在第一特征的基础上,第二特征在于,在所述操作旋钮的与可变电阻器主体相对的内端面上形成有嵌装在转子轴上的连接凸部,以及与该连接凸部在半径方向邻接并容纳所述挡块的圆弧状的凹部。由该圆弧状的凹部的两内端壁构成所述第一和第二限制部,在该第一和第二限制部上一体地连接有操作旋钮的把持部的基端。
另外,本发明在第一或第二特征的基础上,第三特征在于,将所述挡块配置为从上方覆盖转子轴的屋檐状,并且在所述操作旋钮的与可变电阻器主体相对的内端面上形成有嵌装在转子轴上的连接凸部,以及与该连接凸部在半径方向邻接并容纳所述挡块的圆弧状的凹部,通过该圆弧状的凹部的内周壁和所述挡块构成迷宫式密封(labyrinth)。
根据本发明的第一特征,挡块在可变电阻器主体上仅突出设置有一个,因此易于进行可变电阻器主体的成型,另外,可变电阻器主体能够通用于转子轴的实际旋转角度不同的各种旋转式可变电阻器,因此提高了生产率,有助于大幅度降低成本。并且,该挡块构成为在转子轴的旋转方向延伸的板状,因此在与第一和第二限制部相抵接的方向上的刚性较高,从而能够充分耐受与第一和第二限制部抵接的载荷,提高耐久性。另一方面,第一和第二限制部形成在结构和形状比较简单的操作旋钮上,因此能够对应于转子轴的实际旋转角度不同的各种旋转式可变电阻器,比较容易地预先准备使第一和第二限制部之间的间隔变化了的多个种类的操作旋钮,从而避免由此引起的成本提高。因此能够实现可变电阻器整体成本的降低。
根据本发明的第二特征,第一和第二限制部,由形成在操作旋钮内端面上的圆弧状凹部的两内端壁构成,刚性较高。此外,在这些限制部上连接着把持部的基端,使它们得到加强,从而能够使这些限制部的刚性进一步增强,能够充分耐受与挡块抵接的载荷,提高耐久性。
根据本发明的第三特征,板状的挡块构成为从上方覆盖转子轴的屋檐状,并且由该挡块和对其进行收容的操作旋钮的凹部的内周壁构成迷宫式密封,因而即使在雨水等的水滴溅落到旋转式可变电阻器上的情况下,也能够防止该水滴侵入到转子轴周围。

具体实施方式
根据附图中表示的本发明的最佳实施例对本发明的实施方式进行说明。
图1是以安装在操作面板上的状态表示本发明的旋转式可变电阻器的正视图,图2是沿图1的2-2线的剖面图,图3是沿图2的3-3线的剖面图,图4是沿图3的4-4线的剖面图,图5是作用说明图,图6是旋转式可变电阻器的输出电压特性图。
首先,在图1和图2中,本发明的旋转式可变电阻器1具有:在前端壁上固设有金属制的轴承筒3的合成树脂制的可变电阻器主体2;可自由旋转地支承在所述轴承筒3上并向可变电阻器主体2的正面突出的转子轴4;以及结合在该转子轴4外端的合成树脂制的操作旋钮5。在该可变电阻器主体2内固定有电阻基板,并收容有与该基板联动的转子(均未图示),从该转子伸出有转子轴4。
如图1和图3所示,从可变电阻器主体2伸出有与所述电阻基板连接的3根导线6a~6c,其与连接器(coupler)20连接。连接器20具有与所述3根导线6a~6c连接的连接端子7a~7c,其中的两个连接端子7a、7b与标准电池的两极连接,从其(+)极侧的端子7b和剩下的一个端子7c能够取出与转子轴4的实际旋转角度对应的电压。
如图1~图4所示,在可变电阻器主体2的正面上,一体地突出设置有:在其外周侧沿转子轴4的旋转方向延伸的圆弧板状的单一的挡块9;以及隔着转子轴4配置在与挡块9相反一侧的定位突起10。另一方面,在支撑该可变电阻器主体2的操作面板P上设有使所述挡块9和轴承筒3分别贯通的透孔11、12,以及使定位突起10嵌合的定位孔13。操作面板P配置为大致直立状态。
因此,当把可变电阻器主体2安装在操作面板P上时,旋转式可变电阻器1的挡块9、轴承筒3和定位突起10从操作面板P的后侧插入透孔11、12和定位孔13,可变电阻器主体2的正面与操作面板P的背面重叠,将螺母8螺合并紧固在从操作面板P的表面侧突出的轴承筒3上。在可变电阻器主体2安装到操作面板P上的状态下,挡块9位于从上方覆盖转子轴4和轴承筒3的屋檐那样的位置。
在从轴承筒3突出的转子轴4的外端部的一侧面上,形成有用于阻止旋转的平坦面4a。结合在该外端部上的合成树脂制的操作旋钮5由圆形的旋钮主体部5a,以及从该旋钮主体部5a向一侧方突出的扁平的把持部5b构成。在旋钮主体部5a的与可变电阻器主体2相对的内端面上设有位于其中心部的连接凸部14,以及与该连接凸部14在半径方向邻接并与其同心的圆弧状的凹部15。在连接凸部14的内周围面上安装保持弹簧16,该保持弹簧16形成与转子轴4外端部的轮廓对应的形状,将转子轴4的外端部嵌入该保持弹簧16的内侧,通过保持弹簧16的收缩力使转子轴4与连接凸部14连接。
这样使操作旋钮5与转子轴4连接,旋钮主体部5a的圆弧状的凹部15收容可变电阻器主体2的圆弧状挡块9。并且,该凹部15的内周壁15c与挡块9的外周面接近,在它们之间构成迷宫式密封17。
另外,所述凹部15的一方的内端壁15a构成为第一限制部,用于对挡块9的一端面进行阻挡来限定转子轴4一方的旋转界限;另外,该凹部15的另一方的内端壁15b构成为第二限制部,用于对挡块9的另一端面进行阻挡来限定转子轴4另一方的旋转界限。并且,使顶端向下突出的把持部5b的基端与所述第一和第二限制部15a、15b一体地连接,使这些限制部15a、15b得到加强。
另外,在操作旋钮5的内端面上形成有从凹部15到达把持部5b的顶端部的排水槽18。
图6表示所述旋转式可变电阻器1的输出电压特性,α表示由可变电阻器主体2的内部限定的转子轴4的最大旋转角度,β表示通过第一和第二限制部15a、15b与挡块9的抵接而限定的转子轴4的实际旋转角度。因而改变第一和第二限制部15a、15b的位置以及间隔,则能够对该转子轴4的实际旋转角度β及其位置进行改变。
下面对该实施例的作用进行说明。
如图3所示,如果握住操作旋钮5的把持部5b,如图5(A)所示顺时针方向旋转,则使从连接器20的连接端子7b、7c取出的电压逐渐降低(或者升高),并通过使操作旋钮5的第一限制部15a与可变电阻器主体2的挡块9抵接而达到最低(或最高)。另外,如果使操作旋钮5如图5(B)所示逆时针方向旋转,则能够使从连接器20的连接端子7b、7c取出的电压逐渐升高(或降低),并通过操作旋钮5的第二限制部15b与可变电阻器主体2的挡块9抵接而达到最高(或最低)。
另外,挡块9在可变电阻器主体2的正面仅突出设置有一个,因此易于进行可变电阻器主体2的成型,此外可变电阻器主体2能够通用于转子轴4的实际旋转角度不同的各种旋转式可变电阻器1,从而提高了生产率并有助于大幅度降低成本。并且,由于该挡块9构成为在转子轴4的旋转方向延伸的圆弧板状,所以在与第一和第二限制部15a、15b抵接的方向上的刚性较高,从而能够充分耐受与第一和第二限制部15a、15b抵接的载荷,提高耐久性。
另一方面,第一和第二限制部15a、15b由形成在操作旋钮5内端面的圆弧状凹部15的两内端壁构成,刚性较高。此外,这些限制部15a、15b上连接有把持部5b的基端,使它们得到加强,因此,进一步增强了这些限制部15a、15b的刚性,从而能够充分耐受与挡块9抵接的载荷,提高耐久性。并且,操作旋钮5因结构和形状较简单而易于成型,从而能够与转子轴4的实际旋转角度不同的各种旋转式可变电阻器1相对应,比较容易地预先准备使第一和第二限制部15a、15b的间隔变化了的多个种类的操作旋钮5,使由此引起的成本上升较小。从而能够实现旋转式可变电阻器1整体成本的降低。
另外,圆弧板状的挡块9构成为从上方覆盖转子轴4和对其进行支撑的轴承筒3的屋檐状,由该挡块9与对其进行收容的操作旋钮5的凹部15的内周壁15c构成迷宫式密封17,因此即使在雨水等的水滴溅落到旋转式可变电阻器1上的情况下,也能够防止该水滴侵入到轴承筒3的内部,即转子轴4的周围。另外,即使万一水滴侵入到迷宫式密封17内部,也能够避免该水滴溅落到轴承筒3和转子轴4上,而使其覆盖轴承筒3的屋檐状的挡块9的两端缘向凹部15的下方落下,并经由把持部5b背面的排水槽18向外部流出。
本发明并不限定于所述实施例,可以在不脱离其要点的范围内进行各种设计变更。

Claims (3)

1、一种旋转式可变电阻器,其由以下部分构成:安装在支撑部件(P)上的可变电阻器主体(2);可自由旋转地支撑在该可变电阻器主体(2)上并向外部突出的转子轴(4);以及结合在该转子轴(4)外端的操作旋钮(5),
其特征在于,在可变电阻器(2)的转子轴(4)突出的一侧的正面上,突出设置有沿转子轴(4)的旋转方向延伸的板状的单一的挡块(9),另一方面,在操作旋钮(5)上设有排列在转子轴(4)的旋转方向上的第一和第二限制部(15a、15b),用于交替地与所述挡块(9)抵接,以限定转子轴(4)的实际旋转角度(β)。
2、根据权利要求1所述的旋转式可变电阻器,其特征在于,所述操作旋钮(5)的与可变电阻器主体(2)相对的内端面上形成有嵌装在转子轴(4)上的连接凸部(14),以及与该连接凸部(14)在半径方向邻接并容纳所述挡块(9)的圆弧状的凹部(15),由该圆弧状的凹部(15)的两内端壁(15a、15b)构成第一和第二限制部,在这些第一和第二限制部(15a、15b)上一体地连接着操作把手(5)的把持部(5b)的基端。
3、根据权利要求1或2所述的旋转式可变电阻器,其特征在于,将所述挡块(9)配置为从上方覆盖转子轴(4)的屋檐状,并且在所述操作旋钮(5)的与可变电阻器主体(2)相对的内端面上,形成有嵌装在转子轴(4)上的连接凸部(14),以及与该连接凸部(14)在半径方向邻接并容纳所述挡块(9)的圆弧状的凹部(15),通过该圆弧状的凹部(15)的内周壁(15c)和所述挡块(9)构成迷宫式密封(17)。
