Abstract

技术领域
本发明一般而言涉及无线和长距离载波，互联网服务提供商(ISP)，和信息内容发布服务/提供商和长距离载波。更具体地说，涉及无线产业的位置服务。
背景技术
准确定位一个无线网络内的无线设备(如无线电话)的物理位置是众所期待的。当前有两类实现基于位置的服务(LSB)的体系。基于控制平面位置的服务和较新的基于用户平面位置的服务。
较老的基于位置的服务采用现在称为基于控制平面位置的服务。基于控制平面位置的服务利用一个管理系统自动构筑过程并执行详细目录的管理。基于控制平面位置的服务利用控制或信令消息来确定一个特定无线设备的位置。
两种技术间一个关键的不同在于控制平面方案利用一个控制信道与无线设备进行通信，而用户平面方案利用用户的服务信道本身(如IP承载或SMS)与无线设备进行通信。控制平面方案需要更新几乎所有的现有网络部件和无线设备的软件，而用户平面方案被认为是一种对于提供基于位置服务的载波而言更灵活的方案。
已知的基于用户平面位置的服务的概念利用用户的承载信道本身，如IP承载或SMS以建立初始化一个定位过程所需的通信。正如在标准化组织入3GPP中定义的，基于用户平面位置的服务已经被引入作为一种备选的位置服务体系。
因此，基于用户平面位置的服务利用通信自身的内容来定位无线设备。基于用户平面位置的服务关注无线设备如移动电话的TCP/IP容量，从而通常旁路该承载基础构架、并且替换的使用如互联网。开发基于用户平面位置的服务具有很多优点，包括相比于基于控制平面位置的服务的更简单、更高效的系统结构。以这种方式，避免了昂贵的升级，利用其他传统的系统部件，使得迅速和相对便宜的开发成为可能。

在一个典型的移动终端(MT)位置服务的漫游场景中，该移动装置或无线设备必须与一个基于用户平面位置的服务的本地定位服务器(利用3GPP标准技术有时称为“SMLC”)进行通信，以交换位置信息和请求帮助和根据所使用的特定位置方法的位置计算。

发明内容

根据本发明的一个方面，一种为漫游无线设备提供基于用户平面位置的服务的方法包括，建立归属无线载波网络的归属LCS管理器和当前被访无线载波网络的被访LCS管理器间的一个漫游接口。IP连接通过互联网以被传输的容量通过归属无线载波网络中的防火墙和被访无线载波网络中的防火墙。提供了一种消息隧道机制以在一个位置服务系统和一个被定位的无线设备间进行不间断的通信。

本发明提供了一种改善的基于用户平面位置的服务(LBS)系统结构和消息流，即使在移动装置或无线设备在不同载波网络间漫游时也能进行无缝基于用户平面位置的服务。
本发明克服了由安全用户平面位置服务规范所定义的当前漫游支持协议内在的局限性。
本发明的方案使得一个位置系统能够自动返回一种消息隧道机制以确保该位置服务系统和目标无线设备间的通信路径的安全，确保该通信路径在无线通信设备移动时保持连续。
图1示出了根据本发明的一个具体实施方式的一种示例性用户平面位置服务系统结构。
特别的，如图1所示，一个漫游接口(Lr)在LCS管理器(在3GPP中又称GMLC，或在3GPP2中又称MPC)之间建立，该接口能引导IP连接通过互联网穿过防火墙。本发明的方案执行一种消息隧道机制来通过一个归属LCS管理器和/或被访LCS管理器提供端对端的协议连接。

很重要的是，该定位过程本身可以是例如基于RRLP，IS-801，或基于RRC的处理。但是，该定位过程(如RRLP，IS-801或RRC)协议以PDMESS消息的方式隧道传送，其中该PDMESS消息由在H-LCS管理器和V-LCS管理器间传送的一般位置数据消息隧道传送。

当在步骤F中收到需要的位置估计时，该被访LCS管理器308利用一个Lr响应消息转发该位置估计至该归属LCS管理器306。

如果该位置估计被目标用户的隐私设置所允许，该归属LCS管理器306转发该位置估计至请求-LCS管理器304。

最后，该请求LCS管理器304发送一个带有位置估计的MLPSLIA消息给LCS代理302。

Claims (10)

1.提供基于用户平面位置的服务给漫游无线设备的方法，包括：
建立归属无线载波网络的归属LCS管理器和当前被访无线载波网络的被访LCS管理器间的一个漫游接口；
在互联网上执行IP连接，以能够通过所述归属无线载波网络中的防火墙和被访无线载波网络中的防火墙被传输；
提供一种消息隧道机制，以在一个位置服务系统和一个被定位的无线设备间提供一个不中断的通信路径。
2.如权利要求1所述的提供用户平面类服务给漫游无线设备的方法，其中所述的漫游无线设备包括：
移动电话。
3.如权利要求1所述的提供基于用户平面位置的服务给漫游无线设备的方法，其中所述的漫游无线设备包括：
个人数字助理(PDA)设备。
4.如权利要求1所述的提供基于用户平面位置的服务给漫游无线设备的方法，其中所述的漫游无线设备包括：
无线电子邮件设备。
5.如权利要求1所述的提供基于用户平面位置的服务给漫游无线设备的方法，其中所述的漫游无线设备包括：
包含照相机的无线设备。
6.提供基于用户平面位置的服务给漫游无线设备的装置，包括：
用于建立归属无线载波网络的归属LCS管理器和当前被访无线载波网络的被访LCS管理器间的一个漫游接口的装置；
在互联网上执行IP连接，以能够通过所述归属无线载波网络中的防火墙和被访无线载波网络中的防火墙被传输的装置；
提供一种消息隧道机制，以在一个位置服务系统和一个被定位的无线设备间提供一个不中断的通信路径的装置。
7.如权利要求6所述的提供基于用户平面位置的服务给漫游无线设备的装置，其中所述的漫游无线设备包括：
移动电话。
8.如权利要求6所述的提供基于用户平面位置的服务给漫游无线设备的装置，其中所述的漫游无线设备包括：
