Abstract

功能足盖
技术领域
本发明涉及一种足盖,并且特别地涉及用于足假肢的盖。
背景技术
传统的假足设计经常包含在美容中或者盖中以改进假肢的美学外观,例如如授予Arbogast等的美国专利No.4,865,612中所示。一些传统的美容术设计具有人足的形状,并例如由橡胶或者其他柔性材料形成,在使用中,所述材料提供对所述假肢的额外的缓冲。但是,传统的美容术没有设计来基于自然和所期使用的冲击水平改进假肢的性能。
因此,需要一种改进的足盖,所述足盖可以与假肢组合来基于所期的使用的冲击水平实现所需的性能。
发明内容
根据此处所公开的一个实施例,提供了一种用于足假肢的盖。盖的顶端处的开口延伸到形成在所述盖之内的腔,其中所述腔被配置以在其中容纳假肢。壁围绕所述腔并具有自然的人足的形状。所述壁具有内表面和外表面。所述壁也具有顶部部分、底部部分和后部部分。所述底部部分限定脚底区域,所述脚底区域具有脚趾部分、脚跟部分和跖骨区域,其中所述脚底区域设有变化水平的硬度(或者刚度;stiffness),其被配置以从脚跟到脚趾引起所需的翻转(rollover),所需的翻转的一部分是沿着横向至中间方向(或者侧向至近中方向;lateral to medial direction)。

具体实施方式
足盖在现有技术中是已知的,并例如在2000年6月1日提交的待审美国申请号09/585,666中进行了描述,其内容此处并入以供参考。
图1显示了功能足盖100的一个实施例。优选地,功能足盖100具有自然人足的形状,包括脚跟部分10和脚趾部分20。在一个优选的实施例中,功能足盖100可以由聚氨酯或者相似的材料所形成。但是,功能足盖100可以由其他合适的材料制造,例如用于假肢美容术制造所通常使用的材料。
图2A显示了功能足盖200的另一实施例的横截面。功能足盖200优选地被配置以在其中容纳假肢,例如图2B中所示的假足50。在所示的实施例中,假足50是冰岛Reykyavik的 的E1ationTM足。但是,使用此处所公开的任何功能足盖的实施例设想用于任何假足设计。

图3显示了功能足盖300的另一实施例的横截面侧视图。在所示的实施例中,减震材料(shock absorbing material)330优选地设置在足盖300的脚跟部分310中。例如,减震材料330可以是设置在形成于足盖300的内表面316上的腔334中的插入件332。优选地,减震材料330可以嵌入到所述脚跟部分310中。在另一实施例中,减震材料330可以用例如粘合剂连接到足盖300的内表面316。在又一实施例中,减震材料330可以可移除地连接到足盖300的内表面316。例如,减震材料330可以包括可锁定地接合形成在足盖300的内表面316上的凹部或者腔(未示出)的插入件332。如图3中所示,减震材料330设置在至少一部分脚跟部分310上。在优选的实施例中,减震材料330覆盖脚跟部分310的大约6平方厘米和大约20平方厘米之间的区域。在其他实施例中,减震材料330可以覆盖小于大约6平方厘米的区域。在又一实施例中,所述减震材料330可以覆盖大于约20平方厘米的区域。
减震材料330优选地设置在足盖300的区域上,所述足盖300在使用期间容纳高冲击力。在一个实施例中,所述减震材料330是EVA或者相似的材料。但是,也可以使用提供适当减震特性的其他材料。
如图3中所示,能量返回材料350也设置在靠近足盖300的脚趾部分320的跖骨区域340中。在一个实施例中,能量返回材料350可以包括设置在形成于足盖300的内表面316上的腔354中的插入件352。优选地,所述能量返回材料350嵌入在足盖300的壁314中。在另一实施例中,能量返回材料350可以用例如粘合剂连接到足盖300的内表面316。在又一实施例中,能量返回材料350可以可移除地连接到足盖300的内表面316。在优选的实施例中,能量返回材料350覆盖足盖300的跖骨区域340的至少一部分。例如,能量返回材料350可以包括可锁定地接合形成在足盖300的内表面316上的凹部或者腔354的插入件352。优选地,能量返回材料350覆盖足盖300的跖骨区域340的大约6平方厘米和大约20平方厘米之间的区域。在其他实施例中,能量返回材料350可以覆盖小于大约6平方厘米的区域。在又一实施例中,所述能量返回材料350可以覆盖大于约20平方厘米的区域。此外,所述能量返回材料350可以是弹性材料,例如硅树脂。但是,也可以使用提供适当能量返回特性的其他材料。
图4显示了功能足盖400的另一实施例。在所示的实施例中,上述讨论的减震材料430和能量返回材料450连接到足盖400的底部外表面418b。在一个实施例中,减震材料430和能量返回材料450包括可移除地设置分别形成于足盖400的底部表面上的腔434、454中的插入件432、452。例如,减震材料430和能量返回材料450可以用粘合剂连接到足盖400。在另一实施例中,插入件432、452可以具有搭接到凹部或者腔434、454上的接合部件(未示出)。但是,减震材料430和能量返回材料450可以使用其他已知机构(例如螺栓和螺钉)连接到足盖400。在另一实施例中,减震材料430和能量返回材料450可以在制造期间模制到足盖400上。
在优选的实施例中,提供了具有变化减震水平的一组减震插入件432。相应地,足盖400可以被调整以提供最适于特定用户需要的减震水平。相似地,具有变化水平的能量返回的一组能量返回插入件452可以被提供以提供特定用户所需的能量返回水平。因此,减震材料430和能量返回材料450可以被调整到用户的特定活动水平。例如,对于低活动用户而言,减震材料430可以是高弹性材料,例如高弹性氨基甲酸乙酯(urethane)或者其他聚合体材料。相似地,对于高活动用户,能量返回材料450可以是 具有较低弹性的材料。
图5显示了功能足盖500的另一实施例。在所示的实施例中,足盖500包括沿着足盖500的脚底区域505设置的所选择硬度的材料。例如,所述材料可以具有硬度(或者硬度计;durometer)在60肖氏硬度A和大约95肖氏硬度A之间。但是,在其他实施例中,所述材料可以具有其他水平的硬度。在所示的实施例中,所述材料在制造期间被注射成形到足盖500上。如图5中所示,脚跟部分510包括所选的硬度的第一材料530。此外,至少一部分跖骨区域520包括所选的硬度的第二材料532,所述第二材料532可以具有与脚跟部分510中的硬度相同的硬度。所述足盖500的脚底505的又一部分525包括所选硬度的第三材料534,所述第三材料可以与脚跟510或者跖骨区域520的硬度不同。普通技术人员显然可以将每个具有不同硬度的各种材料并入到所述足盖500中。此外,尽管所示的实施例显示了包括所选的硬度的材料的三个不同区域,对普通技术人员显然的是,所选的硬度的更多或者更少的区域可以并入所述足盖500中。
优选地,设置了所述材料530、532、534,以及它们所选择的硬度,以在使用期间引导所述足盖500的翻转。例如,具有更高的硬度的材料可以设置在脚跟部分510上并被较低的硬度的材料所围绕。在另一实施例中,设置在足盖500的脚跟部分510上的材料可以具有比围绕所述脚跟部分510的材料更低的硬度。相似地,设置在跖骨区域520上的材料可以被设置且其硬度被选择,以引导所述足盖500的翻转。在一个实施例中,设置在跖骨区域520上的材料具有比围绕所述区域的材料更高的硬度。在另一实施例中,设置在所述跖骨区域520上的材料具有比周围的材料更低的硬度。在优选的实施例中,所述材料被设置且它们的硬度被选择,这样功能足盖500在从脚跟撞击(hee1-strike)过渡到脚趾脱离(toe-off)期间朝向足盖500内边540中间地翻转,并近似自然人足的翻转。
优选地,所选择的各刚性材料的覆盖区域被选择以适当地引导所述足盖500的翻转,如上所述。例如,设置在脚跟部分510上的材料可以具有在大约6平方厘米和大约20平方厘米之间的面积。相似地,设置在跖骨区域520上的所选择的硬度的材料可以具有在大约6平方厘米和大约20平方厘米之间的面积。但是,在其他实施例中,所选择的硬度的材料的其他实施 例可以具有小于或者大于上述的面积。
图6显示了功能足盖600的另一实施例。在所示的实施例中,足盖600包括连接到足盖600的脚跟部分插入件630并由所选择的硬度的材料制造,所述硬度优选地与足盖600上的围绕区域的硬度不同。相似地,所述足盖600包括连接到其上的脚趾部分插入件640并由所选择的硬度的材料制造,所述硬度优选地与周围区域的硬度不同。所述材料优选地具有硬度在60肖氏硬度A和大约95肖氏硬度A之间。在其他实施例中,所述材料可以具有其他水平的硬度。例如,所述材料可以具有硬度计低于或者高于如上所述的值。优选地,所述脚跟和脚趾部分插入件630、640可移除地连接到所述足盖600。例如,所述部分插入件630、640可以锁定地搭接到形成在所述足盖600上的腔632、642上。在另一实施例中,所述脚跟和脚趾部分插入件630、640可以用粘合剂连接到足盖600。但是,所述部分插入件630、640可以使用其他固定机构(例如螺栓和螺钉)连接到足盖600。优选地,提供了所述组的插入件,每个具有不同的硬度水平。因此,足盖600可以被调整以基于分别连接到足盖的脚趾部分620和脚跟部分610的脚趾和脚跟部分插入件630、640的硬度水平而具有特定的翻转特性。此外,如上所述,插入件630、640可以被调整到用户的特定活动水平。
图7显示了功能足盖700的另一实施例。在所示的实施例中,在脚跟部分722和脚趾部分724之间延伸并在其间限定跖骨区域726的脚底部分720被设置用于连接到足盖700。脚底部分720具有优选地硬度在60肖氏硬度A和大约95肖氏硬度A之间的选择的硬度的区域725。在其他实施例中,所述区域725可以具有硬度高于大约95肖氏硬度A。在又一实施例中,所述脚底部分720具有通常设置在脚跟部分722处的开口727a和通常设置在跖骨区域726处的第二开口727b。所述开口727a、727b优选地被配置以配合在所选硬度的插入件732、734之上,所述插入件732、734通常分别安置在足盖700的脚跟部分和跖骨区域处。在一个实施例中,所述插入件732、734具有不同于脚跟部分720上的周围区域725的硬度的硬度。普通技术人员将认识到所述脚底部分720可以具有任何数目的开口,所述开口被配置以容纳相同数目的、设置在所述足盖700中的所选择的硬度的插入件。在另一实施例中,所述脚底部分720不具有任何开口。
在一个实施例中,所述脚底部分720可移除地连接到足盖700。例如,脚底部分720可以具有突入到形成在足盖700的底部上的凹部或者腔(未示出)的部件(未示出),以锁定地将所述脚底部分720接合到所述足盖700。在另一实施例中,所述脚底部分720可以用粘合剂连接到足盖700。如图5、6中所示的实施例,所述脚底部分700可以使用不同硬度的材料来制造,以在使用期间引导所述足盖700的翻转。在优选的实施例中,所述被引导的翻转被用于控制在使用期间的足盖700的内旋(pronation)。更为优选地,所述被引导的翻转接近自然人足的行走运动,这样所述足盖700在从脚跟撞击(heel-strike)过渡到脚趾脱离(toe-off)期间朝向足盖500内边540中间地翻转。普通技术人员将认识到,如上所述的、所引导的翻转特性可以并入到如上所述的美容术的脚底部分720中,以及连接到假足的单个脚底,如在2004年5月28日申请的美国临时专利申请中所描述,其内容此处并入以供参考。
足盖700优选地包括通常平行于足盖700歇置其上的支撑表面的跖骨区域750。此外,所述足盖700的脚趾部分760优选地包括一组脚趾765,所述脚趾具有上弯或者倾斜以在使用期间提供更平滑的脚趾离开(push-off)。
图8A显示了支撑部件820设置在其中的功能足盖800的另一实施例。在所示的实施例中,所述支撑部件820是优选地嵌入到足盖800的壁824中的板。所述支撑部件820优选地由刚性材料制造。例如,所述支撑部件820可以由碳纤维材料制造。但是,支撑部件820可以由其他合适材料(例如硬塑料)所制造,所述材料提供所需的硬度。有利地,所述支撑部件820沿着跖骨区域840改进所述足盖800的稳定性。在一个实施例中,支撑部件820沿着跖骨区域840的一部分延伸。在另一优选实施例中,所述支撑部件820连接到足盖800的底部并在跖骨区域840处大体上横过足盖800的整个宽度W延伸,如图8B中所示。在其他实施例中,所述支撑部件820可以具有例如圆柱形的其他形状。此外,所述支撑部件820可以设置在需要额外的稳定性的足盖800的其他区域上。

参照图11A,公开了功能足盖1200的另一实施例。在所示实施例中,靠近开口1220的足盖1200的顶部1210包括增加面积的表面1230以方便将功能足盖1200连接到泡沫或者其他整形填充物。如图11中所示,增加的区域1230的表面包括几个槽1232以方便将功能足盖1200连接到泡沫或者其他整形填充物。普通技术人员将认识到所述足盖1200上的槽1232的数目可以变化以比图11A中所描述的更少或更多。
图11B显示了在足盖1300的顶部1320上具有增加面积的表面1330的功能足盖1300的另一实施例。在所示的实施例中,所述增加面积的表面1330限定了靠近足盖1300的脚跟部分1310的凹部1332。所述凹部1332优选地被调整尺寸以方便将足盖1300连接到泡沫或者其他整形填充物。
图12显示了功能足盖1400的另一实施例。在所示的实施例中,足盖1400的高度H通常高于传统的足盖。例如,足盖1400的高度H可以在大约7cm和大约10cm之间。在其他实施例中,足盖1400的高度H可以大于大约10cm。优选地,足盖1400的壁1430的厚度T从足盖1400的底部1410处的更厚部分朝向足盖1400的顶端1420处的开口1425附近的更薄部分成锥形。在另一实施例中,所述足盖1400的壁1430具有渐变的厚度T,靠近足盖1400的底部 1410具有更厚的部分以及靠近足盖1400的顶端1420具有更薄的部分。优选地,足盖1400的开口1425处的壁1430的厚度T在靠近足盖1400的底部1410的壁1425的厚度T的大约1/4和大约1/2之间。在其他实施例中,所述足盖1400的开口1425处的壁1430的厚度T可以在靠近足盖1400的底部1410的壁1430的厚度T的大约1/8和大约3/4之间。所述锥化的厚度T有利地方便了将假肢装置插入到足盖1400之内。
图13A、13B显示了功能足盖1500的另一实施例。在所示的实施例中,足盖1500的脚底1510包括非滑动材料区域1530。优选地,所述非滑动材料区域1530增加了在较滑的情况下(例如在湿的表面上)足盖1500的附着摩擦力(traction)。在一个实施例中,所述非滑动材料区域1530包括设计来增加在使用期间足盖1500的附着摩擦力的图案。优选地,在制造期间,所述非滑动材料区域1530被模制到所述足盖1530的脚底1510。在另一实施例中,非滑动材料区域1530可以应用到功能足盖1500的底部1510。例如,非滑动材料区域1530可以喷洒到足盖1500的底部1510上。在优选实施例中,非滑动材料区域1530包括硅树脂。但是,可以使用具有适当的非滑动特性的其他材料。在一个实施例中,非滑动材料1530被大体上施加到足盖1530的整个脚底1510。在另一实施例中,非滑动材料1530施加到所述足盖1500的脚底1510上的所选择的局部区域。

此外,如上所述的任何实施例可以被制造,以与人足非常相似。在一个实施例中,人足被扫描,且基于所述扫描制造所述足的模具。有利地,使用基于扫描的足的模具的足盖的构造提供了自然人足的更精确的解剖学表示。

Claims (13)

1.一种用于足假肢的盖,包括盖的顶端处的开口(212,1220,1320,1425),所述开口延伸到所述盖之内的腔(220)中,所述腔被配置以在其中容纳假肢(50);和壁(214,314,824,1430),所述壁围绕所述腔(220)并具有自然的人足的形状,所述壁(214,314,824,1430)也限定顶部部分(216a)、底部部分(216b)和后部部分,所述底部部分(216b)包括脚底区域(505),所述脚底区域(505)具有脚趾部分、脚跟部分和跖骨区域,其特征在于,所述脚底区域(505)设有相对围绕被选择区域的区域具有不同硬度的多个被选择区域(330,350,430,450,530,532,534,630,640,725,820,920)。
2.根据权利要求1所述的盖,其特征在于,所述不同硬度的多个被选择区域(330,350,430,450,530,532,534,630,640,725,820,920)沿着横向至中间的方向、从脚跟到脚趾引起至少一部分足翻转运动。
3.根据权利要求1-2任一所述的盖,其特征在于,所述多个被选择区域(330,350,430,450,530,532,534,630,640,725,820,920)中的一个的硬度小于围绕所述被选择区域的区域的硬度。
4.根据权利要求1所述的盖,其特征在于,所述多个被选择区域(330,350,430,450,530,532,534,630,640,725,820,920)中的一个的硬度大于围绕所述被选择区域的区域的硬度。
5.根据权利要求1所述的盖,其特征在于,所述不同硬度的多个被选择区域被设置作为设置在所述盖的底部部分中的插入件(330,350,430,450,630,640)。
6.根据权利要求1所述的盖,其特征在于,所述不同硬度的多个被选择区域被设置作为设置在所述盖的外表面(418b)中的插入件(430,450,630,640)。
7.根据权利要求1所述的盖,其特征在于,所述不同硬度的多个被选择区域(330,430,530,630)中的一个设置在所述脚跟部分中,所述不同硬度的多个被选择区域(350,450,532,640)中的另一个设置在跖骨区域中。
8.根据权利要求1所述的盖,其特征在于,所述脚跟部分(910)具有所选硬度的材料(920),所述所选硬度的材料(920)嵌入到所述脚跟部分(910)中,这样所述脚跟部分(910)的中间边(912)和横向边(914)的硬度大于所述脚跟部分的中间部分(916)的硬度。
9.根据权利要求1所述的盖,其特征在于,支撑部件(820)横过跖骨区域(840)延伸,所述支撑部件(820)的硬度大于所述脚底区域的周围部分的硬度,其中所述支撑部件为嵌入所述盖的壁中的板并由刚性材料制造。
10.根据权利要求1所述的盖,其特征在于,所述盖进一步包括:
一部分减震材料(330,430),所述一部分减震材料设置在脚跟部分中并具有第一选择硬度,所述一部分减震材料被配置以提供所需水平的减震;和
一部分能量返回材料(350,450),所述一部分能量返回材料设置在跖骨区域中并具有第二选择硬度,所述一部分能量返回材料被配置以提供所需水平的能量返回,所述一部分减震材料和所述一部分能量返回材料在从脚跟撞击过渡到脚趾脱离期间导致足翻转运动,近似自然人足的翻转。
11.根据权利要求1所述的盖,其特征在于,所述盖(1400)的壁(1430)具有一个厚度(T),所述厚度(T)从所述盖的底部处的更厚部分朝向所述盖的顶端处的开口附近的更薄部分成锥形。
12.根据权利要求11所述的盖,其特征在于,所述盖的高度在7cm和10cm之间。
13.根据权利要求11-12任一所述的盖,其特征在于,所述壁(1430)的厚度(T)从底部部分(1410)到顶端(1420)逐渐减少。
