Abstract
本实用新型涉及一种球阀的复合环形密封垫,它包括一与合成橡胶或其它合适材料的垫片相结合的环形聚四氟乙烯承座;该垫片通过胶粘结作用固定在承座上。所述零件的组合既可保持聚四氟乙烯的机械稳定性,又可保持合成橡胶零件的密封安全性,同时,减少橡胶零件和阀的球体之间的摩擦阻力,因而使阀本身的操作更容易。所述密封垫的结构及其在阀体内的定位也能避免由于流动急剧变化和流体流经球体时在其上产生的推力所引起的各种问题。
Description
(1)技术领域
本实用新型涉及一种环形密封垫,特别是涉及一种适用于球阀的环形密封垫。
(2)背景技术
常见的环形垫片(O形环)由橡胶制成,当力主要垂直地作用在垫片直径平面上,这些垫片一般用作静密封,当力主要作用于垫片本身的直径平面上,它们则当作动密封。
同样,具有四边形截面的聚四氟乙烯环形垫片(商标为TEFLON)也有着广泛的应用。这种垫片的机械和物理特性可以减少磨损及撕裂;但是,它的密封性却不如橡胶垫片。
众所周知,使用环形垫片时要把橡胶环形垫片插入聚四氟乙烯的环形承座,在任何情况下都会造成不便,这是因为橡胶环形垫片有脱离的危险,导致密封性不好,从而使阀的球体在所述垫片上产生摩擦力。
(3)实用新型内容
本实用新型的目的是提供一种可方便安装垫片且可避免垫片脱离因而可确保良好密封性的环形密封垫。
为实现上述目的,本实用新型提供一种球阀的复合环形密封垫,其特点是,所述密封垫包括一与合成橡胶或其它合适材料的垫片相结合的环形聚四氟乙烯承座,所垫片通过粘结固定在承座上。
为进一步说明本实用新型的目的、结构特点和效果,以下将结合附图对本实用新型进行详细的描述。

图2所示为所述密封垫和阀的球体接合的剖视放大图。
(5)具体实施方式
如图1所示,整体上看,本实用新型的环形密封垫包括一聚四氟乙烯承座2。
如图2所示,承座2具有一截面,该截面基本上为″L″形,以一垂直段3接一水平段4形成一槽5,其面对承座2内侧的部分具有一齿形件6或保护件。
根据本实用新型,通过粘结的方法,适时地将一环形垫片7固定在由垂直段3和水平段4界定的区域内,然后再在承座2和所述垫片之间共同加压,结果是两者牢固地结合在一起。
因此,环形垫片7可以作适当的变形,但实际上被限制在所述垂直段3及水平段4和由承座2的齿形件6界定的区域内。
由此所构成及制成的环形垫片7将有可能被固定在阀体内(未图示)以便保持阀体的球体本身与环形垫片7的固定接触。
至此,所述零件的组合既可保持聚四氟乙烯的机械稳定性,又可保持合成橡胶零件的密封安全性,同时,减少橡胶零件7和阀的球体8之间的摩擦阻力,因而使阀本身的操作更容易。
所述密封垫的结构及其在阀体内的定位也能避免由于流动急剧变化和流体流经球体时在其上产生的推力,特别是在称之″水击″的情况下,所引起的各种问题。
当然,本技术领域中的普通技术人员应当认识到,以上的实施例仅是用来说明本实用新型,而并非用作为对本实用新型的限定,只要在本实用新型的实质精神范围内,对以上所述实施例的变化、变型都将落在本实用新型权利要求书的范围内。
Claims (2)
1.一种球阀的复合环形密封垫,其特征在于,所述密封垫包括一与合成橡胶或其它合适材料的垫片(7)相结合的环形聚四氟乙烯承座(2),所垫片(7)通过粘结固定在承座(2)上。
2.根据权利要求1所述的密封垫,其特征在于,所述承座(2)包括一为垂直段(3)而另一为水平段(4)的二直段,它们界定了具有齿形件(6)的一槽(5),其用于合成橡胶垫片(7)的受力固定。
