Abstract

The disengaging gear for a release clutch includes an axially movable release bearing interacting with a clutch spring and encompassing the input shaft connecting the manual gearbox to the clutch. The electric motor operating the clutch release bearing and an actuating device (9) for the release bearing forms a modular unit which is supported on the gearbox. The modular unit is accommodated by a support unit consisting of a cylindrical component encompassing the input shaft and a flange connected to the cylindrical component.
