Abstract
The invention essentially relates to an alarm system in which the security forces concerned are provided with an overview of the situation that is as current, reliable and comprehensive as possible. For this purpose, in the event of an attack, the recorded camera images and audio signals are immediately transmitted to a security center via a wireless communication interface and thus help to identify the perpetrator. Subsequent destruction of the video alarm system is useless because its images are already available in the control center, and it is also not possible to shut down the system by disrupting the power supply thanks to battery backup. Thanks to the wireless data transmission, the system can be used in mobile objects such as cash in transit, and in the case of stationary objects, wireless transmission is more secure than transmission via cables that the attacker can cut before the attack.
Description
The invention relates to an alarm system in which, in emergency situations, for example in the event of a robbery, a corresponding alarm occurs in a control center.
Stationary objects, such as buildings, cash dispensers or similar, are often monitored by cameras today. These cameras record their images on-site or transfer them to a control center where they are assessed by the surveillance staff. When transferred to the center images destruction of the images is not likely. However, the system fails if the offender cuts off the data cables or interrupts the power supply to the camera prior to his attack.
The object underlying the invention is now to specify an alarm system which is suitable both for monitoring mobile and stationary objects, immediately detects attacks on the respective object and securely forwards information about the situation, in particular the attacker, to a control center ,
This object is achieved by the features of
For this purpose, the captured camera images and audio signals are transmitted immediately via a wireless communication interface to a security center in an attack and thus help in the detection of the offender. Subsequent destruction of the video alarm system is useless because its images are already in the center, and a decommissioning of the system by disrupting the power supply is also not possible thanks to a battery backup. By wireless data transmission, the system is used on the one hand in mobile objects such as a money transport, on the other hand, in stationary objects, the wireless transmission is more secure than the transmission via cable, which can be severed by the attacker from robbery.
The invention will be explained in more detail with reference to embodiments shown in the drawing.

Optionally, the image and audio data are compressed accordingly in order to transmit as much information as possible via the communication interface.
All electronic devices involved in this safety system are connected to the on-board power network of the cash-in-transit truck. Optionally, they are additionally battery-backed, so that they can continue to function for a few minutes even if the on-board power grid is intentionally destroyed. The backup battery is preferably located together with the video alarm system in a mechanically stable housing that is difficult to reach or difficult to remove from its mounting location.
Security forces in the security center are alerted automatically in the event of a robbery. They receive the exact location information of the attacked object.
Through the continuous transmission of image and audio data in the event of a robbery, the security forces at the headquarters have a good overview of what is happening at the crime scene and can thus optimally plan their reactions.
