Abstract

The invention relates to an improvement on a laptop.

Between the housing part for the laptop keyboard and the housing part for the screen, which are connected to each other with a hinge and arranged open and closed to each other, it is customary to arrange a thin intermediate layer. This prevents the direct contact between the buttons and the screen, in particular to avoid damage to the screen by contact points with individual buttons. This separation layer is designed as a plug-on part, so that a keyboard cover in the open state of the laptop is not possible.

Furthermore, from the DE 86 20 084 U1 a covering for writing or similar office machines known, which is designed as a roll-up dust cover and whose shaft is rotatably mounted in the machine housing. This dust protection roller blind should replace dust protection hoods.

The object of the invention is to provide a laptop, the keyboard can be protected both in the folded and in the open state, without restricting the operation possibility.

This object is achieved with the features of claim 1, advantageous embodiments are the subject of the dependent claims.

According to the invention is proposed in a laptop with a keyboard part and a screen part, which are connected to each other by means of at least one hinge and in which between the keyboard and the screen an elastic separation layer is arranged, that the separation layer is arranged up and unrolled on a shaft and is unilaterally connected to the shaft, wherein the shaft is arranged laterally supported in a direction parallel to the hinge trough of the keyboard part and the trough is covered, wherein the cover has a slot through which the separating layer is led out of the trough, and wherein the separating layer is made thin and transparent, so that keyboard operation is possible through the separating layer when the keyboard part is covered.

In order to stabilize the planar shape of the separating layer during unrolling, an advantageous embodiment provides that the separating layer has a stabilizing web on the side which is not connected to the shaft and runs parallel to this side. It serves both for stable clamping of the separating layer, which is why the stabilizing web has a length which essentially corresponds to the separating layer width, as well as for fixing the unrolled separating layer. For this purpose, in an advantageous embodiment, it has a fixing device which cooperates with a fixing device at the outer end of the key or screen part.
