Furthermore, the present invention relates to a motor vehicle with an energy absorption device and an electrical energy storage. In addition, the present invention relates to a charging arrangement. Currently, electric and hybrid vehicles are charged via wired charging stations. These wired charging stations require appropriate local expansion. Furthermore, the customer must connect the cable to the vehicle, whereby a possible automation is difficult. Alternatively, work is currently being done on effective charging methods in which energy is transmitted inductively via corresponding coils. For this purpose, for example, a coil can be arranged on the vehicle and a further coil in a storage area or a parking space. Disadvantage of the contactless charging method via the inductive coupling is that the distance between the two coils must be minimized as possible in order to ensure an effective and efficient energy transfer. For example, a parking position of the vehicle with respect to a arranged in the ground coil is required.

In the same way, the above-mentioned object is achieved by a charging arrangement having the features of patent claim 9 and a method having the features of
The charging device according to the invention for charging an electrical energy storage of a motor vehicle comprises an energy delivery device for outputting energy to an energy storage device coupled to the electrical energy storage device of the motor vehicle, wherein the energy delivery device is designed as a waveguide, the interior of the waveguide has a footprint for at least one motor vehicle, and Energy delivery device is adapted to generate an electromagnetic alternating field in the interior of the waveguide and thereby deliver the energy to the energy absorption device of the at least one motor vehicle, which is parked on the footprint.
The charging device has an energy delivery device which is coupled to an electrical energy source. The energy delivery device is designed to deliver the electrical energy from the energy source to a vehicle-side energy absorption device. This energy absorption device is coupled to the electrical energy storage of the motor vehicle and can thus be charged. In the present case, the energy delivery device is designed as a waveguide, which is dimensioned such that at least one motor vehicle can be placed in its interior. Waveguides are currently used, for example, in the high frequency instead of cables. These are usually as metal tubes with rectangular or circular cross section having dimensions in the cm range formed. According to the present invention, such a waveguide is now scaled to the size of a parking lot or a parking garage.
With the charging device, an electromagnetic wave or an alternating electromagnetic field can now be generated in the interior of the waveguide. The alternating electromagnetic field passes in the interior of the waveguide to the energy absorption device of the motor vehicle. The energy absorption device is designed to extract energy from the electromagnetic alternating field and to transmit it to the electrical energy store of the motor vehicle. Thus, the electrical energy storage of the motor vehicle can be charged. The advantage of the charging device is that no cables have to be used. That is, the expansion of a parking area with supply cable to the charging stations is eliminated. Likewise, the customer does not have to connect the motor vehicle via a cable to a charging station. In comparison with the inductive charging of a motor vehicle via coils, no positionally accurate parking of the vehicle is necessary in the charging device. In the present charging device, the motor vehicles can be charged substantially independently of the position.
In one embodiment, the charging device is designed to generate a stationary electromagnetic alternating field in the interior of the energy delivery device. In this case, the parking area acts as a cavity resonator in which standing waves form and build up the electromagnetic alternating field. By appropriate dimensioning of the waveguide and the adaptation of the frequency of the electromagnetic wave, it can come in the interior of the waveguide to form a standing wave. It is a stationary electric and magnetic alternating field. The resonant frequency of the standing wave usually depends on the distance of the walls of the waveguide. Due to the stationary alternating electromagnetic field energy can be transmitted to the energy absorbing device of the motor vehicle in a simple manner.
In a further embodiment, the charging device is designed to generate in the interior of the energy delivery device an alternating electromagnetic field which propagates along an extension direction of the waveguide. By an appropriate dimensioning of the waveguide and the adjustment of the frequency of the alternating electromagnetic field, an alternating field can be generated that propagates in the interior of the waveguide. This can be easily supplied with energy in several vehicles, which are located inside the waveguide in a simple manner.
Preferably, the charging device is designed to modulate the electromagnetic alternating field. In particular, the charging device is designed to modulate a frequency of the electromagnetic alternating field. For example, additional frequencies can be modulated onto the existing alternating electromagnetic field. Thus, the electromagnetic alternating field can be adjusted according to the geometry of the waveguide. In addition, the electromagnetic alternating field can be adjusted with respect to its frequency to the position or dimensions of the at least one motor vehicle. In particular, the frequency can be adjusted in such a way that reflections of the alternating electromagnetic field on the motor vehicle or the motor vehicles in the interior of the waveguide are reduced. Thus, the alternating electromagnetic field in the interior of the waveguide can be adapted very flexible.
In a further embodiment, the charging device is designed to adjust the power of the electromagnetic alternating field. For example, the electrical power that is transmitted to the at least one motor vehicle in the interior of the waveguide can be adjusted as desired. For example, if a quick charge of the energy storage of the motor vehicle is desired, the power output via the electromagnetic waves can be increased. It is also conceivable that the electrical power for charging the motor vehicle is reduced. This is suitable, for example, if a corresponding trickle charge for the energy storage of the motor vehicle to be provided. Thus, in the case of a motor vehicle parked over a certain period of time, for example over the winter, it can be guaranteed that the state of charge of the electrical energy store does not fall below a predetermined threshold value. Furthermore, the power can be adapted to the number of motor vehicles that are currently in the interior of the waveguide. Thus, the charging device can be used very flexible.
In a further embodiment, the loading device has a detection device for detecting motor vehicles and / or people in the interior of the waveguide. Thus, the charging device may have corresponding detection means for detecting the number of motor vehicles in the interior of the waveguide. These can be provided for example by optical measuring systems, such as cameras, or corresponding measuring devices in the footprint. Based on the number and / or position of the motor vehicles in the interior of the waveguide, the power and / or the frequency of the electromagnetic alternating field can be adjusted. In addition, the or exit the energy delivery device are monitored with the detection device. Alternatively or additionally, the charging device may comprise a detection device for detecting persons in the interior of the waveguide. Thus, it can be detected, for example, with an optical detection device, a thermal detection device or the like, whether currently a person resides in the interior of the waveguide. If this is the case, the electromagnetic alternating field provided with the energy delivery device can be switched off or the power of the alternating electromagnetic field can be reduced. Thus, any negative effects of the electromagnetic waves on the persons can be avoided.
Preferably, the energy output device is formed from a metal sheet and / or a metal grid. The side walls of the waveguide are formed from an electrically conductive material, which is formed for example from a metal sheet or a close-meshed grid or network. Thus, a waveguide can be provided in a simple manner.

The motor vehicle according to the invention comprises an energy absorption device and an electrical energy store, wherein the energy absorption device is designed to receive energy from an electromagnetic alternating field emitted by a charging device described above and to be transferred to the electrical energy store for charging.
