Abstract
The device has a motor-driven rotary specimen carrier (2) with an electrically non-conductive target area (5) for accepting the electrically non-conducting surfaces, an electrospray capillary (3) for introducing and electrically charging an electrospray (4) onto the electrically non-conducting surfaces and an arrangement (7) for periodically repeating compensation or dissipation of electrical charges on the surfaces.
