Abstract

Zur Überprüfung der Verfügbarkeit eines Servers wird eine Verfügbarkeitsanfrage von einem Client an einen Server übermittelt. Die Verfügbarkeitsanfrage wird bei Verfügbarkeit des Servers durch eine vom Server an den Client übermittelte Bestätigungsmeldung beantwortet. Der Client übermittelt eine Meldung über die Verfügbarkeit des Servers an weitere Clients, die daraufhin jeweils ein Übermitteln einer Verfügbarkeitsanfrage an den Server zumindest für ein vorgebbares Zeitintervall unterbinden.
