Description
It is known, in the case of vacuum cleaners driven by an electric motor, a cleaning device driven by the motor to provide, which has the purpose of removing the vacuum cleaner filter from the settling on it To remove dust so that the filter has a good cleaning effect for as long as possible. Such cleaning devices, the z. B. from a stripping device, shaking device or the like. Can consist, are automatically coupled to the motor via a friction clutch when the fan motor is switched off. In the previous versions, the clutch is designed as a centrifugal clutch in which the clutch is held in the disengaged state by flyweights. Such a coupling has in particular the disadvantage that it has many moving parts, the bearings of which are lubricated every now and then have to. In addition, it is relatively bulky and difficult to fit into the one available Place the interior of the vacuum cleaner. The following is an improved design of such Clutch shown.
In the vacuum cleaner designed according to the invention, an electromagnet is provided which keeps the clutch disengaged when the engine is running. This has the advantage that such an electromagnet has only a small footprint and can therefore easily be accommodated in the interior of the vacuum cleaner housing. In addition, the electromagnet does not require any maintenance. The cleaning device for the filter can be designed in a manner known per se as a stripping device rotating around the stationary filter. But it can also be arranged so that the stripping device is arranged stationary and the filter rotates around its axis.
Die staubhaltige Luft tritt durch den SaugStaubsauger In the drawing, an embodiment of a vacuum cleaner equipped according to the invention with such a coupling is shown in elevation, namely the left half of the elevation shows the use of such a coupling in a vacuum cleaner in which the wiping device is stationary and the filter around its Axis revolves, while in the right half of the elevation the scraper revolves around the fixed filter. The housing of the vacuum cleaner consists of two parts, namely the upper part 1 and the lower part 2. A rubber sealing ring 3 is inserted between the abutting edges of the two parts. Both parts are also connected to one another in a known manner by quick-release fasteners 4. In the upper part 1, which is designed as a cover at the same time, a motor blower unit consisting of motor 5 and blower 6 is suitably mounted in a noise-damped manner. The dusty air passes through the vacuum cleaner

Der an derclip 7 into the vacuum cleaner, is freed from the dust particles by the filter 8 and occurs after the Passage through the motor into the fan and through the central blow-out nozzle 9 in a cleaned state back out into the open. The filter is stretched over a filter basket 10, which on the shaft 11 by means the cross pins 12 and 13 is attached. This shaft 11 is with its upper end in one on the bottom of the motor attached bracket 14 and mounted with its lower end in a cross piece 15 which is attached to the Funnel 16 is attached, which is attached to the upper part 1 and laterally encloses the filter space. At the One or more scrapers 17, which are fitted with brushes 18, are attached to the inner wall of the funnel 16 are that wipe off the dust deposited on the outside of the filter 8 from the filter surface, if the filter is put into circulation. The shaft 11 can now be connected to the motor shaft 19 by means of a coupling, essentially consisting of the disk 20 seated on the shaft 11 and the disk 20 mounted on the motor shaft Opposite disk 21 is made, which is mounted on the motor shaft in a longitudinally displaceable manner and through which Helical spring 22 is pressed against the disk 20. Above the disk 21 is now a on the shaft 19 Electromagnet 23 attached, which, as long as it is switched on, attracts the counter disc 21 and therefore in holds from the disc 20 separate position. This is because the electromagnet 23 is in the circuit of the vacuum cleaner motor is the case as long as the motor blower unit is in operation. But at the moment where the engine is switched off, the coil spring 22 presses the counter disk 21 downward and presses it to the disk 20. This causes the shaft 11 and thus the filter 8 to rotate. The one at the

Dust deposited on the filter surface is then removed by the brushes 18 and, guided through the funnel 16, falls down into the dust-collecting bag 24, which is advantageously made of paper and is attached to the lower end of the funnel. This cleaning process continues until the engine has come to a standstill. It is repeated every time the motor blower unit is switched off, so that the filter can consequently be used for a longer period of time. When the collecting bag 24 is filled, it can be conveniently removed from the funnel 16 after lifting the upper part of the vacuum cleaner and thrown away in the garbage can.
The right half of the drawing now shows in elevation the formation of a furnished according to the invention Vacuum cleaner in the event that the filter is fixed and the cleaning device for the filter is designed as a stripping device rotating around the stationary filter. The filter basket 25 is in this case attached to the underside of the motor 5, and a filter bag is over it again 26 excited. The shaft 11 is rotatably mounted in the filter basket 25 by means of the two ball bearings 27 ′, 28. At its lower end, one or more scrapers 29 are firmly connected to the shaft, which on the edge facing the filter bag are filled with bristles 30. Also the cleaning device designed in this way for the dust filter remains switched off by the electromagnet while the vacuum cleaner is in operation and only comes into operation at the moment when the fan motor 5 is switched off. Even here the dust detached by the filter cleaning device then falls into the one provided below the funnel Paper bag and can be removed from the vacuum cleaner conveniently and dust-free with its help will.
