Claims (7)

Europäische Patentanmeldung 83 108 352.2-2107 Anmelder: Microlife Genetics, Inc. (EP 1199-603) Patentansprüche
1. Verfahren zum Schützen des Wachstums höherer Pflanzen in Gegenwart phytopathogener Mikroorganismen, die das Wachstum der Pflanzen hindern, dadurch g e k e η η zeichnet, daß man die Pflanze oder den Boden in der Umgebung der Pflanze in Kontakt bringt mit einer das Wachstum der phytopathogenen Mikroorganismen hemmenden Menge
(1) eines Pseudomonas putida-Stammes, der einen 25
Siderophor produziert, der ähnlich dem von Pseudomonas putida NRRL-B-12537 produzierten ist oder
(2) des von dem Stamm produzierten Siderophors, wobei der Pseudomonas putida-Stamm in Gegenwart von
3Q mindestens 2,5 mg/ml Ethylendiamin-di-(o-hydroxylphenylessigsäure) in einem Wachstumsmedium, enthaltend durch EDDA komplexierte Eisen(III)-Ionen, aufgrund der Rekomplexierung des Eisens durch den Siderophor wächst.
2. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet , daß der Stamm aus einem mit Öl imprägnierten Boden isoliert wird.

3. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet , daß der Stamm Pseudomonas putida VRRL-B-12537 ist.
4. Siderophor, produziert durch den Stamm Pseudomonas putida NRRL-B-12537, in überwiegend reiner Form oder in Kombination mit einem landwirtschaftlich annehmbaren Träger zur Anwendung auf eine höhere Pflanze oder deren Umgebung. 10

Eisenbindender Siderophor in überwiegend reiner Form, der, wenn er in Methanol gelöst und unter Anwendung der Dünnschicht-Chromatographie analysiert wird, einen Rf-Wert von etwa 0,5 in Wasser, Essigsäure, Aceton (90:5:1 , bezogen auf das Volumen), entwickelt auf einer Silicagel G-Chromatographieplatte, aufweist.
6. Siderophor nach Anspruch 5 in Kombination mit einem landwirtschaftlich annehmbaren Träger.
7. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet , daß der Pseudomonas putida so gewählt wird, daß er ein wirksamer Wurzelbesiedler ist.
