The invention relates to a circuit arrangement according to patent 976 590 with an internal photoelectric Effect of an image pickup tube using a semiconductor layer, in the case of which in the video amplifier amplified signal a control voltage is derived, which the bias of the signal plate of the Pick-up tube with a time constant that is significantly larger, but at least ten times as large like the scanning duration of an image, regulates in such a way that the mean signal current is independent of the respective The scene brightness remains almost constant.
Die zusätzliche Blendensteuerung erweist sich besonders bei Schaltungsanordnung mit einer Bildaufnahmeröhre vom VidikontypIt has been shown that changes in the image brightness in a ratio of 1: 10 4 are automatically corrected with this circuit arrangement. On the other hand, the automatic control range is sometimes not sufficient, especially at very high illuminance levels. It is therefore expedient to expand the control range of the automatic system according to the invention by suitable additional measures and at the same time to protect the image pickup tube from excessively high illuminance levels, which can lead to damage or destruction of the image pickup tubes. In a simple manner, this object is achieved according to the invention in that the aperture setting is controlled with the help of a photo resistor and the sensitivity of the photo resistor to the scene brightness is selected by preferably adjustable front panels so that the lens diaphragm runs to a preset or preset position as soon as the Keeping the mean signal current constant by controlling the signal plate bias alone, preferably in the case of excessive illuminance, is no longer maintained. The adjustable front cover switched in front of the photo resistor is used to prevent scattering, e.g. B. with different image pickup tubes and with tolerances of the switching elements to compensate for these in that the aperture is set to an amount which enables the fulfillment of the task set for the photo resistor. As soon as the illuminance has reached a value which causes the photoresistor to respond, ie changes its resistance in such a way that the control motor for diaphragm control is activated, the diaphragm runs to a preset or presettable position. It is not advisable to vary the diaphragm continuously, since the bias control of the signal plate can easily keep the mean signal current constant within an interval given by the presettable positions. The additional diaphragm control proves particularly in the case of a circuit arrangement with an image pickup tube of the vidicon type

With the arrangement according to the invention, very high illuminance levels can also be achieved during transmission of images by means of the image pickup tube. On the other hand, if there is a drop the lighting under the lower all given by the control of the signal plate pre-tension Limit, the image transmission can continue undisturbed with a correspondingly large aperture.
Under certain circumstances, it can be advantageous to use the photoresistor and the associated cover plate to be separated from the image recording camera and preferably to be arranged at the location of the object to be imaged. On the other hand, it is also possible and in some cases necessary with the help of the photo resistor In addition to controlling the aperture control, a corresponding lighting device can also be controlled. It is however, it is easily possible to use the photoresistor only to control the lighting device alone or, if necessary, to be used in a switchable manner to both operating modes.
