be-
Na-

Conceivable bed support The invention relates to a bed support that is calibrated

geliefert wird, so daß der huftkompreseor
betätigt wird. Solange der Benützer weiter Druck

The cover 44 of the housing 31 also carries a safety valve 52 of conventional design, which works automatically if the water pressure inside the housing 31 becomes too great. 18 obviously has the dual function of the switches the Fü.lene of the bellows 11 with compressed air and the withdrawal of compressed air from the bellows. For this purpose , the switch 18 is provided with a plate 53 (FIG. 8) which is pivotably mounted in the middle and which can be pushed down from two opposite sides by a binger of the user. Bridged, the user one side of the plate 53 downwardly so provides verifiable an electrical connection between the contacts 54 and 55 a. These contacts provide a connection of the air compressor 35 with the plug 17, thereby elektriächer current through the cables 40, 56 and 57 (Figure 7) is supplied, so that the huftkompreseor is actuated. As long as the user continues to exert pressure on this side of the plate 53 , the electrical connection is maintained and the air compressed by the compressor 35 flows through the housing 31 and 4.3, the 5.1 and the hose line 16 into the interior of the bellows 11 and expands gradually inside this bellows. Once the user aufUrt, auazuüben pressure on the plate 53, moves a? Or 58 (Figure 8) the contact 54 and the plate 53 surtiak in the rest position "d separates thereby di1 contacts 54 and 55. The F1uß electric current to the air compressor 35 hears on. Corrugated air in the bellows 11, the hose line 16 and the chamber 51 bounces the disc 48 against the plate 49, so that coaprated air has no opportunity to escape. Because of this arrangement, the user or the bedridden man of = can Obviously anhebdn his back - or any other part of his body - and to the extent desired, but also prevents the possibility tone accidents because the simple raising sufficient gere of fingers, to cut off the supply of compressed air.

If the user decides that the raised part of the mattress should be lowered or returned to the horizontal position, then he presses the other side of the plate 53 to harvest. 8a then provides a connection between the contacts 58 'and 59 bsw with the forks 57th 60 are connected , which together lead the cable 46 electrical current to the relay 45 . The relay 45 raises the rod 47 with the disc 48 so that compressed air flows out of the housings 43 and 31 so that the bellows 11 is lowered by the weight of the user or the weight of the mattress. The switch 18 remains in this position until the user touches the plate 53 again
actuated.
The bed support according to the invention makes it possible
to lift or remove any section of the mattress
